SÉANCE OF SORROW UNVEIL 'FORSAKEN': A MELODIC DESCENT INTO THE SHADOWS OF TRAUMA

Born from the wreckage of a brutal crime, SÉANCE OF SORROW bridges the gap between the earthly and the ethereal.

While the band’s debut releases chronicled the downfall and death of Michael Morrison, their new chapter shifts from introduction to immersion. Through a series of "visions," Michael is forced to inhabit the memories of those linked to his demise. In this psychological chessboard, nothing is as it seems. Michael must relive pivotal traumas from both the perspective of the victim and the aggressor, experiencing the rage and irreversible consequences of each act to uncover the truth.

The new single, 'Forsaken,' serves as the first step into this haunting trek. A melodic, somber ballad, the track pairs a ghostly instrumental backdrop with raw, emotive vocals. It is the most unsettling entry in the saga to date, unflinchingly addressing the psychological fracture caused by sexual violence and trauma. Eschewing glorification, "Forsaken" presents these acts as devastating turning points—moments that shatter identity and set lives on a path of no return.

SÉANCE OF SORROW comments,“Forsaken is the first Vision. These aren’t dreams. These events actually happened. I’m not watching them — I’m inside them. I experience them from both perspectives. First person. Third person. Victim. Aggressor. In this chapter, I’m shown as the attacker — but that isn’t who I am. It’s how the Vision forces me to feel what truly took place. The violence isn’t spectacle. It’s evidence. Every Vision introduces someone connected to my death. Every one of them carries a moment that changed them forever. Forsaken is about trauma, about survival, and about how one irreversible act can send someone down a path they never come back from. The Visions aren’t random. They’re clues.”

SÉANCE OF SORROW UNVEILS HAUNTING NEW VIDEO ‘FROM THE BLACK’—A TALE OF REBIRTH FOR A DARK VALENTINE’S DAY

Born from the shadows of a brutal murder, dark rock outfit SÉANCE OF SORROW acts as a sonic bridge between the living and the dead. Arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, their third single, 'From The Black,' is a cinematic hard rock anthem that explores rebirth through tragedy.

SÉANCE OF SORROW reaches its turning point in 'From The Black'. This third installment shatters the status quo—where once there was a victim, there is now a force; where once there was silence, there is now a reckoning. The music video captures the immediate aftermath of Michael’s death as his consciousness dissolves into the void. Through graveyard symbolism and a looming supernatural chill, viewers witness a transformation: the birth of an entity no longer bound by flesh. This isn't a traditional resurrection—it’s an evolution.

SÉANCE OF SORROW comments, “From The Black isn’t just a song. it’s the moment after death when the silence starts speaking. It’s about realizing that what was meant to bury you becomes the place you rise from. Michael’s murder wasn’t the end of his story. It was the beginning of something darker… and far more powerful. This song is the sound of awakening inside the void.”
