GATES TO HELL | ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN SUMMER TOUR 2024 WITH HEADLINERS FROZEN SOUL!

Since its inception, Louisville's GATES TO HELL has fused the finest elements from both metal and hardcore, highlighting fast metal riffs with heavy hardcore and deathcore breakdowns written in a manner unexplored within the Kentucky music scene. The band is taking 2024 by storm with their signing to Nuclear Blast, touring with the likes of MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, and MUNICIPAL WASTE. Not to mention, the band just entered the studio with Randy Leboeuf at Graphic Nature Audio in New Jersey to record their debut full-length on Nuclear Blast.

On July 12th, GATES TO HELL will join headliners FROZEN SOUL on their 'North American Summer Tour 2024'. The 19-day trek will make stops in Chicago, Buffalo, and Ottawa before concluding on August 19th in Little Rock. The package includes CREEPING DEATH as direct support while ENFORCED will open each night.

GATES TO HELL states,One of our earliest shows as a band before we got into touring was with Frozen Soul and our first show ever was with Creeping Death so it is super sick to be hitting the road supporting these bands and Enforced for the summer. We are currently in the studio recording a new record so it’ll be really nice to get back to playing shows with a bunch of friends."

GATES TO HELL | SIGN TO NUCLEAR BLAST + RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE 'RESURRECTED'

Since its inception, Louisville's GATES TO HELL has fused the finest elements from both metal and hardcore, highlighting fast metal riffs with heavy hardcore and deathcore breakdowns written in a manner unexplored within the Kentucky music scene. The last year saw the band playing nearly 150 shows in 11 different countries supporting the likes of DYING FETUS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE ACACIA STRAIN, DESPISED ICON, SANGUISUGABOGG, BODYSNATCHER, KRUELTY, and DYING WISH on various tours across the US, Canada and Europe.

Continuing this momentum with no sign of slowing down, the band is ushering in 2024 with a new home at Nuclear Blast Records, a pummeling new single, and heading on the road with labelmates MACHINE HEAD and FEAR FACTORY.

GATES TO HELL's guitarist Seth Lewis states, “I was a kid who loved metal from a very young age and I was constantly buying CDs of my favorite bands. Over time, I saw how many of those bands' CDs had the Nuclear Blast logo on the back. It’s a very unreal feeling to be working with them now with Gates to Hell. Very excited for what the future holds.”

Nuclear Blast American Label Manager & A&R Tommy Jones comments, "After a tip-off from my buddy Scott Lee, I first entered the Gates to Hell at the Milwaukee Metal Fest on May 28th, 2023. Straight from the rip seeing the band live, I was way into their style of Brutal Death Metal laced with hardcore energy. I could envision them being part of the new breed at Nuclear Blast. Fast forward after some hang sessions on the Jersey shore, and up at the New England Metal Fest, we officially sealed the deal in October on Friday the 13th. Fitting AF! I am stoked 'as hell' to welcome the Gates to the worldwide Nuclear Blast family! Let’s gooo!!”

The band's newest offering comes in the single, fittingly entitled 'Resurrected'. The song is a perfect example of their hybrid sound mixing modern death metal with the hardcore spirit. The song was engineered and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios while mastering was completed by Brad Boatwright at Audioseige Mastering.

“Our new track ‘Resurrected’ just dropped through Nuclear Blast" comments Seth Lewis. "It’s my favorite Gates to Hell song released to date. After touring and practicing as much as we have the last couple of years, we’ve all really meshed together so much better as musicians. Trying to stick to our roots of the death metal/hardcore sound our music has always had, but being more collaborative and creative with some elements.”

Skid Row Shares Music Video For "Resurrected" — WATCH // Second Leg Of Buckcherry Tour Starts Friday!

Now's the time to see, we're resurrected!

earMUSIC and SKID ROW unleash the music video for "Resurrected," the fifth single from the band's latest album The Gang's All Here.

Skid Row were never a band that was going to let anything get in their way, and their latest video for "Resurrected" takes that idea to the ultimate next level.

Directed by Frank Gryner, who has created eye-popping videos for Alice Cooper and Def Leppard, and from an original concept by Skid Row's Rachel Bolan, the video captures the band in a new environment, showcasing their versatility as they confidently tackle a formidable challenge.

"Being a fan of animation, I was very excited when the opportunity to do an animated video was presented to us," recalls Bolan. "I really wanted to give the video a sci-fi feel that would convey that you can conquer anything, no matter how big the monster, even if it lives within the parameter of your inner circle."

WATCH THE VIDEO FOR "RESURRECTED"

Since releasing The Gang's All Here in 2022, Skid Row have been non-stop conquering all that there is to conquer. With Top 20 album positions in numerous countries, the album has spawned new fan favorites like "Tear It Down" and "Time Bomb," which rock side-by-side with classics like "18 and Life" and "Monkey Business" in their live sets.

Undefeated and now "Resurrected," Skid Row are back on the road in December in North America along with Buckcherry.

"You don't want to send this band out on stage with a chip on its shoulder," advises Bolan. "That's for damned sure."
