Slaves to Humanity Announce Multiple Show Dates in Washington!

Slaves To Humanity announced that they will be playing a string of shows in Washington in January, 2023.

"I’m really excited. It’s gonna be extremely refreshing. I absolutely love Seattle, and I cannot wait to show our music to a new crowd. It’s a little scary, but the excitement outweighs any fear I have! " says Aidan Amini.

Shane Ryan adds, "Going on tour is one of the main things I’ve been looking forward to doing since I started playing drums, and now that we’re actually going to make that dream a reality is super surreal for me. This is going to be just the first of many tours we will be going on as a band and it’ll definitely be one to remember."

"I'm looking forward to it. There's something about being completely on our own that feels like a necessary stage in our journey. A little scary? Exciting? Definitely a bit of both," comments Nathan Johnson.

Pierce Akers also comments,"I’m excited but definitely nervous because I haven’t done anything like this, but this is definitely something that needs to happen for us to move on this musical boat."

Slaves to Humanity (STH) is a Sunset Grunge band from Orange County California. It’s members include Aidan Amini on vocals, Pierce Akers on guitar, Shane Ryan on drums, and Nathan Johnson on the bass. Together the band mates create a sound like no other, mixing the melodic guitars of the late 80s era hard rock bands, and the lyrics and vocal sound of the 90s grunge era, as well as throwing modern rock elements all around.

In 2019 they released their first single “BATTLEGROUND” which had success in radio stations and streaming platforms alike. Following this release, during the Covid 19 pandemic, the band released “Behind My Back” which showed even more success. Both singles were the most requested song on KLOS and received heavy rotation on that major radio station for many months throughout the pandemic.

During the pandemic, the band worked hard on putting together their social media presence and continue to do so today, showing success on Tiktok and Instagram. The band continues to play shows in Southern California as well as build their social media presence.

The band appeared on Episode 2 and Episode 10 of the show NO COVER - (The only Music Competition show w/ unsigned artists performing original songs).

The Native Howl (Winners of Band Competition TV Series 'No Cover') Release New Track + Music Video "Sons Of Destruction" (via Sumerian Records)

Hailing from Leonard, MI, The Native Howl (winners of the hit TV series No Cover) have released their new single and music video for "Sons of Destruction", the first after signing with Sumerian Records. Speaking on their new agreement with Sumerian and experience on No Cover, the band shares:

"Sumerian Records is the first record label that we in The Native Howl have come across that has matched our level of excitement and passion for original music. They have their thumb on the pulse of the modern industry, whilst retaining the integrity and zeal of times past. We are beyond stoked to work with a team that has a genuine love of musical creation.

We in The Native Howl were honored to take part in this competition. We found the concept of the show itself (to judge musicians based on compositional ability rather than performance alone) to be noble; and its execution, exemplary. After a decade as a band, and through the grueling Covid era, we must thank ‘No Cover’ for being the galvanization required to save our group, and for proving to us that there is now more than ever a necessity for original music in the world.

Watch the music video for "Sons Of Destruction" below and stream the track here.

Slaves to Humanity Release Upbeat New Single "I Love It" via FRAME|WORK

Slaves To Humanity released their upbeat new single "I Love It" just in time for summer via FRAME|WORK.

"I love it is this crazy fun party song. While writing it, we wanted people to wanna play this song at parties and just have a bunch of fun to it. We kept kinda pushing that while in the writing process, just to give the song a unique vibe compared to all of our other stuff! With the lyrics, I wanted a chorus that anybody could sing along with. The lyric 'I love it' just kinda came to me while working out all the combinations I could have that melody. Nothing really felt right in that spot, until I hit I love it. I sang that line and thought to myself, 'what do I love?' And I went with that question and wrote the rest of the song as a feel good party song!" says the band's vocalist Aidan Amini.

He adds, "I love it is by far one of my favorites (although I say that every time… I just love releasing music!) and I’m so happy that we finally get to release it for everybody to enjoy over the summer!"

The band appeared on Episode 2 and Episode 10 of the show NO COVER - (The only Music Competition show w/ unsigned artists performing original songs).
