Alpha Wolf Share Video For "Bring Back The Noise"

A cacophony of turbulent bounce and bludgeoning beats, the brand new single "Bring Back The Noise" from Aussie metalcore behemoths Alpha Wolf profusely lives up to its name.

Fusing industrial grinds, caustic riffs and some nu metal-esque scratching alongside vocalist Lochie Keogh's biting prowl, "Bring Back The Noise" is an undeniable party-starter on steroids demanding to be cranked to 11.

Watch the music video for "Bring Back The Noise" below.

Of their brand new single, Alpha Wolf share, "In the early stages of writing 'Bring Back The Noise,' we felt we had a party starter on our hands. Refining this song together in the woods of our writing retreat in the Australian winter resulted in a tw- minute barrage of catchy riffs with fun and fierce lyrics, which perfectly encapsulates what Alpha Wolf is about. We've found a way to be okay with delivering in-your-face style vocal hooks that will get any crowd jumping and singing along; 'Bring Back The Noise' delivers just that. Whether you like yelling along, head-banging, or moshing we invite everyone to turn it up loud until their speakers blow."

The band continues, "On our recent tour across North America, we got the chance to debut this song live, to which we received amazing feedback amongst new faces and we're excited to finally be able to showcase the song in its true from for your listening pleasure. 'Bring Back The Noise' and turn it up."

The road has been far from easy for Alpha Wolf but they refuse to let anything stand in their way. Throughout the chaotic and turbulent times of the pandemic, the band released their sophomore album A Quiet Place To Die in 2020 to critical acclaim, including a #6 spot on the ARIA charts and a nomination for Best Heavy Album at the ARIA awards, and multiple sold-out shows around Australia, Europe, UK, USA & Asia.

In 2022, Alpha Wolf released a split EP, The Lost & The Longing, with Welsh rockers Holding Absence, and also launched CVLTFEST, their very own curated festival aimed to showcase the best Aussie talent in the heavy scene alongside some exciting international acts. And furthering their global reach to new heights in 2023, Alpha Wolf recently embarked on their biggest North American run to date with Motionless in White, and also tore up multiple stages at home earlier this year as part of the inaugural Knotfest Australia with Slipknot, Parkway Drive and Megadeth.

With an impending European and UK tour supporting The Amity Affliction starting next month and extending into early 2024, Alpha Wolf will also appear at Download Festival in the UK next year, and have confirmed the return of their own festival CVLTFEST next February, alongside Emmure, Crossfaith, Ocean Grove, and more.

Alpha Wolf know how far they have come, but it’s what lays ahead of them that’s keeping the band hungry.

Paledusk Drop "Rumble" Feat. Masato — LISTEN

Japanese futuristic hyper-pop metal trio Paledusk celebrate the power of authenticity on new single "RUMBLE," featuring Masato from coldrain, out now via Greyscale Records and SharpTone Records.

Paledusk will also embark on their first-ever tour of North America, supporting metalcore monsters Polaris on the Fatalism Tour, alongside Currents and Varials. All dates are below.

Like a bull in a china shop, Paledusk break free of restraint on new single "RUMBLE," taking listeners on a rollercoaster ride through genre-defying moments of energized jubilance and moody fusion. An anthemic offering calling for the freedom to create authentically and without limit, "RUMBLE" represents Paledusk in their truest form. The riotous three-piece bounce off the walls as they traverse unique and contrasting sonic ground.

The band's diverse sound has captured the attention of music tastemakers across the world, with the band announcing earlier this year their signing to Sharptone Records for Europe, United Kingdom, North America, and South America. With Greyscale Records already covering Australia and New Zealand, Paledusk are on a steady path to world domination. The trio's sights have been set firmly on taking over the world with their unique blend of skittish instrumentals with melodramatic sprinklings since their formation in 2014.

For most bands, chaos and insanity are used as colourful descriptive words, but for Paledusk they're somewhat of an understatement. From their sound, to their videos, to their onstage performances, electronic-metalcore powerhouse Paledusk leave nothing behind as they carve a path that is truly one of a kind.

Since the release of their EP Happy Talk, word has spread like wildfire about the trio from the Japanese island of Kyushu. The band has gone on to release multiple singles with some of Japan's most hyped artists, and now they set their sights on international stages.

Their ferocious live performance earned them a place at Australia's Good Things Festival 2022 last December, where they showcased a collection of their eclectic repertoire alongside the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, NOFX, TISM, and so many more, visiting stages in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Inheriting the conventional digital rock feel of pioneers like Japanese experimental band The Mad Capsule Markets and English electronic dance act The Prodigy, Paledusk continue on their path, proudly leading the way for lawless metalcore, carrying the baton for the punk community and promising to keep their listeners guessing.

MÉLANCOLIA - UNVEIL DEBUT ALBUM 'HISSTHROUGHROTTENTEETH' AND SHARE VIDEO FOR "GOD TONGUE"

Melbourne-based blackened deathcore group MÉLANCOLIA share their video for GOD TONGUE and unleash hell on debut album, HissThroughRottenTeeth, out now and streaming everywhere via Greyscale Records and Nuclear Blast Records.

MÉLANCOLIA’s debut album, HissThroughRottenTeeth immerses listeners in a torturous tale of birth, life and death. HissThroughRottenTeeth follows a fallen deity, cast down from a godly realm and met with the punishment of reincarnating as a human with a wealth of knowledge yet stripped entirely of power.

Essentially the album is about the pain of existence and how we get no say in coming into this world,” says vocalist and songwriter Alex Hill.

The album traverses different stages of the deity’s miserable existence, doomed to repeat a painful cycle for all of eternity. MÉLANCOLIA sink their teeth into their monstrous storyline with eerie passages, guttural deliveries, and grotesque visuals, dispensing pure dread through their music.

After establishing themselves just last year with the single "Horror_Ethereal," the band announced in February their signing to both Greyscale Records for Australia and New Zealand and Nuclear Blast for the rest of the world. Mélancolia may be fresh out the gates but they're miles from the start line as the four-piece have crafted a unique sound that has already catapulted them to new heights.

MÉLANCOLIA unveiled their second single [Inure] alongside their album announcement in early March, which invited listeners into MÉLANCOLIA’s world of unease and doom, thematically inspired by sadomasochism and how it's often used as a tactic to feel after experiencing a sense of numbness for so long.

"GOD TONGUE" becomes the latest video to shed from HissThroughRottenTeeth, sharing eerie visuals of a mortal monstrosity. The track observes organized religion and condemns those who follow for the wrong reasons.

MÉLANCOLIA echo a tormented entity trapped within the claws of despair, angst, and unnerving melancholy. Like messengers of darkness, Alex Hill takes his place at the forefront as vocalist, Joshua Taafe and Billy Morris join the fold as guitarists with Mason Page on drums. Storming through the gates of 2023 with a vengeance, Mélancolia played their first-ever show with Thy Art Is Murder on their Decade Of Hate Australian Tour in January alongside Starve and Justice For The Damned.

HissThroughRottenTeeth is availableg today, Friday April 21 via Greyscale Records and Nuclear Blast.

Australia's The Beautiful Monument Are "Hellbound" With Video + Single

Australia's beloved alt-rockers The Beautiful Monument, known for their raw and vulnerable lyrics, return with the brand new single and video for "Hellbound" via Greyscale Records.

Watch the video below.

The single, produced by Callan Orr, is the first taste of music since the band's 2019 release I'm The Reaper.

"This track is about perseverance through self doubt," says the band's Lizi Blanco. "One of the most personal cases for me was writing music after being harshly criticized about my writing style and strongly believing that nothing I brought to the table ever did the instruments justice. That doubt started spreading to some people close to me too. But it's so much more than just music, it was everything in life my job, relationships, business ventures, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I hadn't felt this defeated in such a long time — it's like a disease. No matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise, you just keep pushing forward, even when others around you also doubt your ability."

She adds, "I did a tarot spread asking my cards for guidance about what I need to write about and get off of my chest. I used Macabre Tarot by Samantha West and you can see the three cards I had pulled in the music video, they're also described in the chorus of the song. Since the last release, we've all changed so much — especially with a pandemic happening just as we were starting to get some momentum happening again. It's a new style and a perfect blend of us as individuals and as a collective. TBM has grown so much over the years and it's just going to keep getting weirder and weirder."

The accompanying music video was directed by Neck Up Collective and shot in CGI.

Blanco shares, "The video is of a person who believes that they are of a higher stature may have an opinion that differs from yours; but it does not give them the authority to tear you down — malicious words spread like a plague. What goes around comes around."

The Beautiful Monument released I'm the Reaper in 2019, showcasing their genre-defying rock aesthetics alongside stylistic innovation. They hook into emotions and fears felt by everyone in the room and offer fans a moment of catharsis and reflection without being alone. It's OK not to be OK — a theme that The Beautiful Monument has carried through their debut and sophomore albums and that seems more poignant now than ever before.
