Sound Pollution Update! New Music Out Today from Finnegan's Hell

Today, Finnegan's Hell Release

'One Finger Salute'

Their Most Uncompromising Album to Date!

Finnegan's Hell used the shutdown during the pandemic to write new songs and produced an impressive collection. The strongest ones ended up on the record 'One Finger Salute'.

The title track was released as a single a couple of weeks ago and was very well-received. The Irish Times wrote: "A magnificent attitude marker with an infectious chorus sure to evoke a sea of middle fingers in the audience".

The video for the song suggests that this is a correct assumption, watch it below.

Finnegan's Hell has been called "the Swedish Pogues" by the music press, and it is easy to see why. These Swedes have a solid grasp of the Celtic punk idiom and are able to use stomping folk melodies and traditional instrumentation to reveal, and revel in, the gnarlier side of life.

Finnegan's Hell is gaining quite a reputation on the European folk rock scene, due to the band's extraordinary live shows. American heavyweights Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly might very well be in for some Swedish competition in the future.

Finnegan's Hell Release

New Single & Video for "Mickey Finn"

New Full-Length Album to be Released November 25th!

The runaway train Finnegan's Hell is accelerating!

Single number two from the upcoming album, 'One Finger Salute', is an ultra-fast pogo pleaser called "Mickey Finn"; a tale about being slipped something in your drink and dealing with the consequences.

The song is based on a true story, and the video - released simultaneously - is not suitable for sensitive viewers.

The long-awaited new album 'One Finger Salute' by Finnegan's Hell, will be released November 25th.

Its title track appeared as a single a few weeks ago and received rave reviews all over Europe as well as in the US and Canada. Influential London Celtic Punks wrote "we’re happy to report they have all the same swagger, intensity and attitude as before" and concludes "this is evidence someone will have to set a new place at the Celtic-Punk top table!".

Back home in Sweden, Finnegan's Hell is often called "The Swedish Pogues" by the press. Even though the band has cranked up the volume and significantly increased the tempo, "Mickey Finn" is a well-crafted song with the same kind of infectious melody and straightforward lyrics that was the trademark of Mr. MacGowan and his men.

The video for "Mickey Finn" was directed by Michael Ek, and this time he has gone all in. Sensitive viewers be aware!

FINNEGAN'S HELL Release Their New Dystopian Holiday Single "Happy Christmas"

Celtic punk rockers Finnegan’s Hell shine a light on the dark side of Christmas with their new single and music video, “Happy Christmas”. The new track aims at broadening the general perception of the holiday; which, for a lot of people, can be an absolute nightmare.

The second-best Christmas song ever written? In any case, “Happy Christmas” by Finnegan's Hell qualifies as the second-best Christmas song coming from a Celtic punk band.

‘Happy Christmas' contains enough social realism to make you reach for the bottle once the song is over", says lead singer Pabs Finnegan. His haunting whiskey voice takes the listener through three shades of black in a song that depicts anything but a happy Christmas.

The music video for "Happy Christmas", which features the demolition of an entire apartment, was directed by Michael Ek. The images perfectly match the dystopian lyrics of the song. The cost of the damages makes this new video the most expensive one ever released by the band.
