Today, the band, hailing from Hertfordshire, UK, returns, with their new single "Metamorphosis" — a motivational reminder to keep going, a reminder that you get to write your own story, and sometimes that can mean burning everything down to start over. In the wake of the single's release, Defences will tour the UK with Mason Hill, perform at summer festivals in the UK and EU, and support Future Palace on their UK run in November.

"'Metamorphosis' is all about transformation, and surrendering to it," comments Defences. "We are evolutionary beings, constantly growing and adapting to the different paths life takes us down, constantly saying goodbye to old versions of ourselves.
