CHAYCE BECKHAM RELEASES NEW EP OLD FASHIONED

Chayce Beckham releases his new EP, Old Fashioned, today. The five-song project contains the previously released songs, “Dirt Floor” and “Take Me Home” and three more original tracks co-written by Beckham and produced by Bart Butler. Fans can listen below.

“When I set out to start writing for this project I really wanted to keep it as raw and real as I possibly could,” says Beckham. “My love for the sound of country music from the 70’s still just lights me up and my goal was to approach these songs with that in mind but with a freshness that still plays into what is happening today. I write from a place of truth and from moments I have either lived or witnessed. I love where we landed on these songs and I am grateful to play them on stage each night.”

About Chayce Beckham:
Rising country star Chayce Beckham won American Idol singing his own songs and was the first to win singing an original song. Beckham is continuing to write his own music and chart his own path as a country artist, scoring his first #1 at country radio with the platinum hit single “23.” A California native schooled on tough times and a mix of country, rock, hip hop and beyond, the fiery songwriter with his own creative compass started a habit of heart-on-his-sleeve lyricism after a hard season of life left him feeling empty. Yet, his warm rough rasp and steadfast drive charmed the nation on Idol's 19th season. With more than 1.2 billion global on-demand streams and counting, the bluesy and brutally honest anthem “23” debuted at #1 on both iTunes All Genre and Country singles charts, and led to his first album, Bad for Me. Earning next-big-thing and artist to watch predictions from the Grand Ole Opry, CMT, Amazon Music, MusicRow and more,  Beckham is touring and sharing new music including the previously released “Dirt Floor,” a neo western sounding summer love song, and “Take Me Home” in addition to “Ain’t Lying To Myself,” all of which are out now on his new EP Old Fashioned.

Vocal powerhouse, prolific songwriter and American Idol winner Chayce Beckham made his Grand Ole Opry debut last night (10/18), performing his now RIAA-certified PLATINUM single “23” that's entirely self written and currently Top 20 at radio, along with the tender ballad “Till The Day I Die” to a packed-out audience. After his performance, Beckham was then surprised on stage with the song's platinum plaque by his mom, Windie Peterson, and manager, Kerri Edwards.

"Last night, so many dreams came true because of music," said Beckham. "It’s been a long, long road, and I’d like to thank everyone who has been on it with me. It’s hard not to be emotional when something you have been working so hard at comes to fruition, and the people who got you there can hand you the award for it on the biggest stage in Country music. Because of my family, my team, and my fans, I got to step foot into the Circle and sing at the Grand Ole Opry. From the bottom of my heart, thank you."
