Fiery indie punk band PLAIINS have released new single "C'est La Vie."
It's the fourth track from their upcoming debut album Happy Faces, set for release on August 15 via Long Branch Records.
"'C'est La Vie' is about my excitement to move to Hamburg and take the plunge," says frontman Chris Reardon. "I was so sick of London at that point. The cost of the city and the difficulty of breaking into the industry. Meetings with labels and deals on the table, the excitement then nothing, over and over to the point that I set up my own label and started releasing music and getting out there. But it was tough and I was so ready to leave."

PLAIINS have been on a steamroller since their inception in late 2020. Having played with the likes of ITCHY, Cold Years, LEAP, Press Club, and many more, the band in 2024 signed with Long Branch Records/SPV and is pleased to soon present their debut album Happy Faces. The hard-working group has already released over 20 songs to date, regularly hitting the top playlists on Spotify
"I wanted us to make an album that would stand the test of time, is coherent and characterful, unique and of our own and would be a great contribution to the wonderful catalogue of rock music. I have so much love, reverence and adoration for the greats and I wanted us to at least be on that level," says Reardon.
