Magnolia Music Group has hired industry veteran JC Coffey in a newly created role as Director of Audience Platforms, which will combine his experience in radio promotion, syndication strategy and DSP relations. Coffey will report directly to VP of Promotion, Heather Propper. Previous stops for Coffey include Big Machine Records and Show Dog Records.
Magnolia is home to country star Randy Houser, who is coming off a whirlwind 2023 that included a headline tour, two feature film appearances (Killers of the Flower Moon and The Hill) and the release of his song “Cancel.” Houser has multiple soon-to-be-announced music releases slated for 2024.
“JC’s passion, work ethic and multi-dimensional thinking will help propel the continued growth of Magnolia,” shares Nick Hartley, manager for Houser.
“I have been passionate about Randy Houser’s music since the moment I heard his voice," shares Coffey. "I could not be happier to take on this new role and hit the ground running with this amazing team.”
