Joe Randazza Lists "Ten Sickest Breakdowns" for Loudwire

New Jersey death metal outfit EYE OF THE DESTROYER have released their new studio EP, 'The Wolf You Feed' TODAY via the group's High Potency imprint. The record serves as the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2019 effort 'Baptized In Pain'.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Joe Randazza, who performs all of the instrumentals and vocals for 'The Wolf You Feed'Eye of the Destroyer is a relentlessly aggressive project that aims to bring the scathing animus and unshakable resolve of the hardcore genre into the dire times faced by the millennial generation. Fans can purchase 'The Wolf You Feed' (CD + Download) at highpotencyproductions.com

Eye of the Destroyer mastermind Joe Randazza recently spoke with the folks at Loudwire to share his own personal list of the "10 Sickest Breakdowns in Hardcore + Metal", which included offerings from bands like Slipknot, God Forbid, Hatebreed and more. Fans can check out the piece at the link found here.

"The Wolf You Feed" is Eye of the Destroyer’s darkest album to date. The record comes on the heels of the critically acclaimed "Baptized in Pain". Eye of the Destroyer’s new EP comes into its own with an evolved writing style that utilizes elements of the band’s New Jersey hardcore roots, controlled chaos, and raw emotion.

The album provides crucial commentary on the plights that millennials face from childhood trauma to archaic political dogma. Joe Randazza dug deep into the trenches of his subconscious to write and produce this album that rips the band-aid off the festering wounds that plague a whole generation. Shadow work in musical form, this album is a reminder that taking your power back requires a deep and uncomfortable inspection of the dark recesses of your mind.

This album was written and produced by local New Jersey scene legend Joe Randazza and almost failed to make it to press. Joe wrote the album in a really bad place while battling addiction and loss. The release of this album was fueled by bass player Dan Kaufman’s unrelenting belief in the spiritual awakening "The Wolf You Feed" delivers. It was recorded at the Soap Factory in Roselle Park, New Jersey and mixed and mastered by Keegan Okazaki from Nocturnal Audio based out of Toronto Canada.

Eye of the Destroyer is:

Joe Randazza - Vocals, Guitar, Bass & Drums

Dan Kaufman - Bass
