"This 10 and a half minute epic explores a deeply aching loneliness, and the perceived impossibility of healing. With reverent joy, we welcome our very first official guest vocalist, Roy Khan (CONCEPTION), who sings the role of the ghost of the main character’s father from beyond the grave. Swedish vocalist David Åkesson (QANTICE) recorded the male choir vocals, and as always, the song was mixed and mastered by Sascha Paeth," says the band.

The single serves as an appetizer for the forthcoming epic new studio album from the band, due this fall on Frontiers Music Srl. More details on that forthcoming in the weeks ahead.

Seven Spires is an American metal quartet specializing in melancholic tales and tenebrous grandeur. Part bittersweet melodic metal anthems, part apocalyptic melodic death and black metal, and part Romantic Classical poets, they are storytellers who draw from across the traditional spectrum of metal and beyond to weave tragedies of demons, death, love, and the peculiarities of human condition. The band met while studying at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, so we need not spend much time going on about their musical capabilities, but needless to say, the band’s musicianship is in keeping with the metal tradition of tireless work to be the best at your craft.

The band’s sophomore album, “Emerald Seas", released in February 2020, was a highly emotional, dark, and theatrical listening experience. Judas Priest Announce Rescheduled 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour

One of heavy metal’s all-time greats, Judas Priest, will finally get the opportunity to celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with the launch of a North American tour this fall. The 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour will also feature Sabaton as openers and is being fueled by the highest charting album of Priest’s career, ‘Firepower,’ which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200.

Produced by Live Nation, the North American tour – which will run throughout September (kicking off on September 8th in Reading, PA) and November (concluding on November 5th in Hamilton, Ontario), will feature a variety of special effects, which will undoubtedly enhance the might of Priest’s metal.

Judas Priest originally formed in 1970 in Birmingham, England (an area that many feel birthed heavy metal). The original nucleus of musicians would go on to change the face of heavy metal. Throughout the 70's Priest were responsible for helping trail blaze metal with such classic offerings as ‘Sad Wings of Destiny’ (1976) ‘Sin After Sin’ (1977) and ‘Hell Bent for Leather’ (1978) as well as one of the genre’s top live recordings ‘Unleashed in the East’ (1979) among others.

It was during the 80's that Priest conquered the world, becoming a global arena headliner on the strength of such all-time classics as ‘British Steel’ (1980) and ‘Screaming for Vengeance’ (1982), as well as being one of the first metal bands to be embraced by the then-burgeoning MTV, plus performing at some of the decades biggest concerts (1980’s Monsters of Rock, 1983’s US Festival, and 1985’s Live Aid) and being the first to exclusively wear leather and studs – a look that began during this era and would eventually be embraced by metal heads throughout the world. Priest’s success continued throughout the 90's and beyond with the addition of drummer Scott Travis, as evidenced by such additional stellar offerings as ‘Painkiller’ (1990) ‘Angel of Retribution’ (2005) and ‘A Touch of Evil: Live’ (2009) the latter of which saw Priest win a Grammy Award for a killer rendition of the classic 'Dissident Aggressor'.

In 2011 new guitarist Richie Faulkner came in to replace the previous guitarist who had left in 2010 - the move seemed to have reinvigorated the band, as evidenced by a show-stealing performance on the 'American Idol' TV program that also served as Faulkner's debut performance with the band (also in 2011 was the release of a new compilation 'The Chosen Few' which included Priest classics selected by some of metal's biggest names) and the 'Epitaph' concert DVD in 2013.

Priest’s next studio effort would arrive in 2014 ‘Redeemer of Souls’ which was supported by another strong tour. In 2017 (and again in 2019) Judas Priest received a nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and got ready to unleash their latest studio album ‘Firepower’ (produced by Andy Sneap and Tom Allom) which received global success and critical acclaim. In 2020, a fully official and authorized photographic book, ‘Judas Priest: 50 Heavy Metal Years,’ was issued.

Few rock or metal acts remain as much of a must-see live attraction as Judas Priest. Having been forced off the road for over a year, Priest will soon make a most-welcomed return to metalheads coast to coast, with the 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour.

Anti-Flag Announce Fall 2021 Tour Plans + Record Store Day Release Details

BAND TO RELEASE 20/20 DIVISION ON VINYL FOR RECORD STORE DAY ON JUNE 12

Anti-Flag have announced their return to the road and their Fall 2021 headline North American tour dates.

The first leg will kick off on September 14 in Grand Rapids, MI and run through October 14 in Vancouver. Support will come from Dog Party, Grumpster, and Oxymorrons. The second leg features Bad Cop/Bad Cop and Doll Skin. It kicks off on November 2 in Buffalo and runs through November 20 with the ANTIfest show in their native Pittsburgh. All dates are below. "The last time Anti-Flag embarked on a North American tour, it lasted two days before COVID-19 brought it to an end," the band recalls. "After more than a year of challenges, hardships, and misfortune for many the world over, we are pleased to announce that we are hitting the road again. NONPOINT Releases Official Music Video for Single "RUTHLESS" TODAY

In less than a month Nonpoint has broken every record in it’s charting history. Now on June 7th they are poised to do it again with the release of their most brutal music video ever. The highly anticipated official music video for "RUTHLESS" premieres on YouTube today at 3pm Eastern.

The team at 361 Degrees Records mentions that, “When Elias presented the concept to the label it was so brutal we honestly weren’t sure if it would even get played. Now that it’s done we realize it’s exactly the video they needed to do and the definition of RUTHLESS.”

The band has never done a video like this before, but says it was like being on a movie set with Director Francesca Ludikar at the helm leading moment after bloody moment of this fast paced, heart pounding roller coaster of a video. “We’re aiming for the temple, swinging for the fences and making heads rock in this one. Only one of us will be left standing in the end.” says the band.

The concept was written by singer Elias Soriano and even he warns viewers, “This is what happens when you take an infectious riff, athememic lyrics, an aluminum baseball bat, some duct tape, and a grudge, put it in a blender and serve it cold blooded.”

NONPOINT released the title track, "Ruthless,"off of their upcoming EP to all digital outlets in May through the band's very own label 361 Degrees Records LLC and was this year's featured track on AEW's "Blood And Guts" on TNT.

London Trio Urne Drop "The Palace of Devils & Wolves" Video

DEBUT ALBUM SERPENT & SPIRIT OUT JUNE 25

London metal trio URNE will release their debut album Serpent & Spirit on June 25 via Candlelight Records.

The band just shared the video for "The Palace of Devils & Wolves."

Bassist/vocalist Joe Nally comments, "When it came to writing 'The Palace of Devils & Wolves,' we wanted to write a straightforward heavy metal song compared to some of the longer pieces on Serpent & Spirit. Inspired by late '70s-Judas Priest and Megadeth Countdown to Extinction with our own spin, I believe we wrote a song that will have people headbanging at shows and festivals all over."

As for the video, Nally says, "The video was shot by Gav Thane and edited by our very own Angus Neyra. We took huge inspiration from the classic '90s metal videos; if there was a new Drilling the Vein video compilation coming out now, we would want this video on there. We wanted the grittiness of 'Davidian' (Machine Head) mixed with the energy of 'Slave New World' (Sepultura) but again, with our own spin."

During the writing process for Serpent & Spirit, Nally found an old demo of the first few minutes of the track and instantly knew it had to be finished. "Desolate Heart" subsequently became the first single released from the album.

There is no single way that Urne describe their sound. It all comes back to one thing: heavy. There are shades of Metallica, Mastodon, and Alice In Chains in the mix — hopping between sludge, tech-metal, doom, hardcore, and anything else with a weighty heart.

Formed by ex-Hang The Bastard bassist Joe Nally and guitarist Angus Neyraafter their former band called it quits, the pair already had a reputation for big, heavy riffs. Getting drummer Richard Harris on board in 2018, they gilded their new outfit with debut EP The Mountain of Gold, which immediately marked Urne out as a formidable new metallic force.

They return with debut album Serpent & Spirit. Heavier, wider, and with an even higher ratio of killer riffs than the EP, it also comes with a weighty concept based around the central character's struggle as he's pulled between good and evil, darkness, and light.

"I had a bit of a bad patch for a few months," explains Nally, revealing the inspiration for the album's lyrics. "I'm absolutely fine now, but I drew on those two months where I just wasn't feeling great. I took that and wrote a story based about that. The actual track listing is done like that film Memento, where it's all in a different order. Maybe one day someone will listen to the lyrics and work out which order the story goes in."

He continues, "The album is called Serpent & Spirit. The spirit is the human experience and the serpent is the evil that tricks your mind. It's about getting pulled apart and trying to find yourself within all of that. So it's almost good and evil, and throughout the album it's about a person getting pulled from the light to the dark."

Due to COVID, the final parts of the album were written over Skype, before being recorded by Chris Fielding (Conan, Electric Wizard, Primordial) at Foel Studios in deepest Wales during lockdown. It was then sent to acclaimed producer Jens Bogren who handled the mastering of Serpent & Spirit.

Today, Argentinian melodic death metal solo artist PLAGUESTORM unleashes his blistering sophomore full length record via Noble Demon. "Under a Georgia Sky is a song that pays tribute to the various amazing people we meet in our lives, who come into our orbits to teach us things about ourselves and help us grow. It is a song that tries to capture and evoke the reminiscence and nostalgia of a beautiful relationship and/ or friendship, that may not work out at the time, for various reasons, but with the passing of time can be rekindled and rebuilt Under a Georgia Sky" says lead singer-songwriter Rob Gaylard.

Australian guitarist and singer/songwriter Robert Gaylard brings a unique perspective and vision when it comes to creating music. His inspiration and passion for starting The Nomadic began early on as a child after traveling to many countries like Myanmar (formerly Burma), Singapore and the Solomon Islands. His “nomadic” lifestyle continued on into his adulthood when he began to work for the United Nations in various countries such as: Kenya, Somalia, the Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Israel and Palestine. His travels eventually brought him to New York in September of 2012 and motivated him to pursue his songwriting by establishing an indie rock band.

In the year 2019, Rob took a one year leave of absence from the UN to follow his musical passion and focus specifically on songwriting and live performance. The Nomadic released its debut single “Drifting” in September of 2019, "Waiting" was released in April of 2020 and "Beyond Blue" and "Manhattan View" in June. Further singles followed with “Walk the Streets” in October 2020, “Jeannie” in January 2021, and “Skaterpark” in March 2021.

The full album Beyond Blue will be released on 3 September 2021. Influenced by artists like Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve, Bruce Springsteen, Phosphorescent, The War on Drugs, Arizona and The 1975, The Nomadic produces a sound genre like no other as alternative rock meets blues with hints of Americana and pop.

Having been originally influenced by numerous cultures and ways of life, The Nomadic promotes and advocates for issues of social action and innovation, human rights, support for minorities, as well as doing the next right thing, including the idea that it is never too late, including for people to follow their dreams and passions. These values are inspired by Rob’s Nomadic life, his UN experience, and his current role as Head of the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) Underfunded Emergencies Window (UFE), where he oversees the allocation of humanitarian funding to global crises, including protracted conflict and natural disasters.

You remember 3 Years Hollow. The band that jumped onto the scene as part of the Rockstar Uproar tour in 2012 and again in 2014 and saw their debut single,"Remember" hit the charts on national radio.

Anew Addiction is a new project for Dex. “Addiction comes in many different forms. Having an addictive personality, I have struggled with addiction in different ways throughout my life. But I found a way out, something positive that gave me the euphoric feeling I needed, something I could always turn to and it never let me down. The music became my fix and with that I created Anew Addiction."

The debut track, “Disaster”, drops June 4, 2021. The song features Morgan Rose on drums and Justin Taylor on vocals and guitar. Disaster kicks in right away with the rhythm forward sound that will become synonymous with Anew Addiction.

Anew Addiction is focusing on creating new music and putting it out there. The members of the band appearing in the studio and in the live sense may change. It gives Dex an opportunity to work with different artists to create something fun and unique.

Hard Rock/Metal band WITHOUT END released their new single "Save You" to all major platforms today. The single was produced by Nick Reitman.

“We chose Save You as the first single to be released because this song holds a special place with us and our past and we wanted to touch on the subject of depression because we feel it affects so many people around us on a day-to-day basis… and most of the time the struggle is internalized rather than reaching out for help” says the band's vocalist Alex Osip.

Arising from the city of Detroit, hard rock/metal quartet Without End erupted onto the scene captivating audiences with their high-energy performances, melodic riffs and shredding solos. Without End released their debut EP Revenge For The Fallen on Feb 1st, 2015. The EP was recorded at Metro 37 Recording Studio in Rochester Hills and mixed and mastered by Kevin Sharpe. "Cryout", the bands' first single garnered the band a lot of early attention. On July 16th, 2016 Without End released their second EP entitled Creature Of Habit, which produced the bands second single "Creature of Habit" which again garnered them some early attention around Michigan. The record was produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Reitman at Giza Studios in Chesterfield, MI. The band supported their second effort with shows alongside Trapt, Saliva, and Famous Last Words.

After a 2 year hiatus, on October 9th, 2020 the band released a music video for 2016 single "Creature Of Habit", which featured the bands new look and line up. The band has announced plans to tour in the near future and that they are working on new music set to come out sometime in 2021. The band currently consists of Alex Osip (vocals/guitar), Chris Silence (Sallans) (vocals/guitar), Steven Schuler (vocals/bass), and Stevie Bertetto (drums).

"I remember reading a paper about how people can pass away simply because they've given up. Life has beaten them and they feel defeat is inescapable. It was a study by researchers about the “clinical markers” for 'give-up-itis', a crude term used to describe what is known medically as psychogenic death. It usually follows a trauma from which a person thinks there is no escape, making death seem like the only rational outcome. If not arrested, death usually occurs three weeks after the first stage of withdrawal. The researcher quoted: "Psychogenic death is real. It isn't suicide, it isn't linked to depression, but the act of giving up on life and dying usually within days, is a very real condition often linked to severe trauma.

It’s a subject matter that triggers thoughts, perhaps analogously, that we are experiencing a societal or ecological version of this. We have given up on ourselves, and we have just accepted that this is the only, inevitable conclusion, to fade away, wide-eyed and hopeless.

As a society we swing from the opposite ends of the pendulum, of environmental activism, which society bizarrely labels as ‘extremism” to the flaccid apathy of “middle-of-the-road Joe Public”, who questions whether any of this is even real. We don’t need two polar opposites to war with each other, we need the middle ground to get the fuck in the water and learn to swim. We haven’t decided if this song is about fighting on or giving up… I guess we’ll let the listener decide…"

After a hiatus of several years, Irish singer-songwriter Lori Sky is back with a new collaboration with Italy-based Indie outfit Bilbosa. Their vibrant single 'Neon' is wonderfully rhythmic and mesmerizing, her vocals weaving in and out of one's heart zone, not surprising since writing these lyrics helped her work through the grief of losing her mother.

"I saw the 'Neon' music as a bright light, like the love that a close relationship brings into your life. So I ended up writing this song to celebrate my Mum, who I had just lost. The music helped me to express what I was learning about grief, that when you allow yourself to feel the pain of loss you are more able to appreciate and understand the love," says Lori Sky.

This is the first taste of Bilbosa's 'Ayla' EP, a four-track offering slated for release in mid-June via Italy's powerhouse indie label Seahorse Recordings.

Formerly known as Lorraine McCauley, the Scotland-based Donegal native offers a powerful new voice and perspective on the arts scene, making music for the soul and senses. Performing since the age of four, she formed her first band while living in Japan. After her 2010 debut solo EP 'Haunt Me', she formed Lorraine McCauley & The Borderlands, debuted with the `Light in the Darkest Corners’ LP in 2012, tipped as the next Scottish contemporary folk breakthrough. After pursuing her master's degree, 2014 began her artist residency with La Banda di Piazza Caricamento in Genoa, where she met and collaborated with Bilbosa's David Carroll, sowing the seeds for this new single.

The accompanying video, produced by Plurale Video and written and directed by Stefano Pulcini, was co-directed by Simone Putzu and stars Karin Maltempo and Andrea Bagossi. it explores the strange times we are living in, the desire to be with the ones we love but the need to isolate has left us living in our imaginations. Trying to make those connections with the people we love in our mind or in our hearts instead of in person. Be it though losing them or though distance we are all longing for those close relationships and appreciating them more than ever before. The video is our interpretation of that precise moment in which you realize the importance of those emotions that you used to feel with those people who are now gone.

Hailing from Genoa in northern Italy, Bilbosa are David Carroll (guitar), Stefano Pulcini (guitar and synth), Daniele Ferrari (bass and synth) and Gabriele Gennaro (drums). Formed in 2016 from the ashes of their former band Chaos Del Signor Gaza, the remaining four musicians spent much energy collaborating, jamming and trying to understand what musical route to take. Finally, they desperated decided to lock themselves in a recording studio in 2018, resulting in the recording of their first official album, 'Diamond Dust', which they released in December 2020.

"Covid forced us to become more creative in how we collaborate with others. As a band, we wrote the music and then sent it to Lori Sky, an Irish singer-songwriter. Lori listened to the track and wrote lyrics to the song, which are very personal to her and yet, there are very universal themes here about love, loss and grief," says David Carroll.

As of June 3, 'Neon' is available across online stores and streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. The full 'Ayla' EP will be released on June 18.

Leviathan Project is a powerful new Metal ensemble, featuring, Bobby Koeble (Death), Matt Nardo (Producer), Tk (Britny Fox) and Tim "Ripper" Owens (guest vox, x-Judas Priest) exploring the ongoing study of our human condition through music, writings, and visual communication. The result is an aggressive and captivating sound that combines traditional Heavy Metal with catchy melodies, haunting vocals and other worldly guitars.

Finnish Funeral Doom Pioneers Skepticism Announce New Album "Companion"

Finnish Funeral Doom pioneers Skepticism celebrate their 30th anniversary with the release of their sixth full length album “Companion”. Set for release on September 24, 2021 via Svart Records, “Companion” takes the listener on a journey from Skepticism’s gloomy past through to a monument of a band that has weathered their liturgy for 3 decades of mournful service.

Today the first single and video for "Calla" has been released. “Calla” is a story of longing and closure told in the language of Skepticism’s sorrowful and lamenting vocabulary. Let the bells toll and the ceremony begin. Watch it below.

On “Companion”, Skepticism further refine their signature sound to engulf the listener in a cavernous heavy wall of organ and guitars laid to rest under an ominous cascade of hammering drums.

“Companion” was recorded and mixed at Sonic Pump Studios with Nino Laurenne. The way Skepticism works is set in stone, like a monument, with every album recorded the same way. The base tracks are laid down with the full band playing in free tempo, feeling every beat and crushing chord together. The atmosphere at the studio helped tremendously in capturing the essence of the songs in the recording of “Companion” and one that culminated in a very unique set of songs. The band is very satisfied with the result, with even Laurenne experiencing something new in the process.

“Companion”, holds the tradition of all Skepticism albums, containing six songs which draw from the deep well of the band’s history of songwriting, as well as introducing and incorporating some new elements.

On recording “Companion”, and introducing some rather unconventional techniques, engineer Nino Laurenne explains: “It took a while to get used to some of the unusual details on how the band plays and sounds. One such detail is the snare drum without the snares. Once I got used to them it became obvious that I should refrain from using some of the techniques I normally use when mixing. The drums for example retain the feel of the recorded performance very closely - and definitely have the longest reverbs I have ever used! A band with such a long history and a sound of their own is best presented in its natural form, even when it departs from common practices.”
