Rossi first entered the music industry as the lead singer of Canadian band “Cleavage”, where he gained notoriety after signing with EMI Music Canada in 2004. However, he earned his big break on the popular CBS television show, ​Rock Star: Supernova​, where he received ​millions of votes​ and won the opportunity to join a new band comprised of ​Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Jason Newsted (Metallica) and Gilby Clark(Guns N’Roses)​. We had the chance to invite Maxime Febvet from DÉLUGE on this song and we are super proud of what came out of this collaboration. Only a year after the full-length debut record, the French black metal band VOUS AUTRES return with their second album. ‘Sel de Pierre’ represents a shimmer of hope among the vast, dark soundscapes that this modern post black metal duo creates.
 
VOUS AUTRES is a two-headed post metal / black metal band hailing from Nantes, France. As enigmatic as it gets, the duo creates a dark, ambient, and tormented sound, blended into the everlasting retrieval of what seems forever lost to human's inherent evil.

Formed in 2017, band members ₣ and β introduced the world to their experimental and modern take on black metal with the debut EP ‘Trente Pièces d’Argent’.

Las Vegas heavy metal band Invidia have released their impactful lyric video for single "The Other Side."

The Belgian death metal stalwarts of CARNATION are now premiering a brand new live video for their recently released single "Sepulcher of Alteration." The video was shot during the band's demolishing performance at the Hellgium Festival that took place in Belgium in 2020. The track is taken from the bands upcoming full length 'Where Death Lies,' which is due September 18

Frontman Simon Duson comments: "The debut live performance of our newest track 'Sepulcher of Alteration' took place at the Hellgium Livestream Festival earlier this month. We have been yearning to perform this track live, ever since the day we finished writing it. Sadly, we were unable to witness your reaction in the flesh, but with the ongoing pandemic, this felt like the only possible way for us to take this track to the stage anytime soon, and we'll take what we can get!"

Early 2013, guitar player Jonathan Verstrepen created the band to show his appreciation for the old school death metal legends from the ‘80s & early ‘90s. Vocalist Simon Duson, bass player Yarne Heylen, guitar player Bert Vervoort, and drummer Vincent Verstrepen were summoned to complete the band, and it didn’t take long until the chemistry between this quintet hit critical mass.

The Belgian’s first EP offering, entitled 'Cemetery of the Insane', was released upon the masses in 2015 . Tracks such as "Explosive Cadavers" or "The Rituals of Flesh" take you back in time to the better days of shredding riffs, neck-breaking drums, and skull-crushing guttural vocals.

The live rituals that followed were executed with stone cold merciless aggression. CARNATION delivered their bloodbath at select festivals across Europe during 2015 and 2016. Their next journey led them to distant Asia for their first tour across mainland Japan. This resulted in the infamous 'Live at Asakusa Deathfest' album, which saw the light in (2017). 

These releases, combined with their reputation as a notoriously impressive live act, drew the attention of fans worldwide and provided CARNATION with the opportunity to perform at several European festivals and saw the band touring alongside PESTILENCE during their special Brazilian tour in April 2018. After signing with Season of Mist in 2018, CARNATION welcomed new and loyal audiences to death’s domain and invited them to witness them rise to their throne!

CARNATION rage on in 2019 with more spectacular live shows at 70.000 Tons of Metal, Alcatraz (BE) and Damnation Festival (UK), as part of their touring rampage throughout Japan and Europe (with PUNGENT STENCH and DESERTED FEAR), before entering the studio for the recordings of a brand new album. The mastering for the new offering was done by the mighty Jens Bogren (SEPULTURA, ENSLAVED, ARCH ENEMY) at the Fascination Street Studios in Örebro (SE).

I’m still not entirely sure who the band is, or what I signed (and I think they might actually be cartoons), but once I heard it, I just knew they had to be on EMP. The messages of Zac Red were just too powerful to ignore. And to be honest, it hasn’t left my cassette deck since.”

Following the release of Puppy's third EP, iii, drummer Billy Howard Price has created a video clip for current single "Serotonin."

iii was recorded with producer Misha Hering in Hackney's (largely analog) Holy Mountain Studios around the corner from the rehearsal space where Puppy first started making music together.

Upon the EP's surprise digital release towards the end of 2019, "Serotonin" quickly established itself as a fan-favorite.

"We've always liked the concept of lyric videos," Price says. "They're essentially karaoke tapes to which nobody is expected to sing along. Also, like a public service announcement, Ceefax or LED street signs, there's a kind of clunky outdated-ness to the sight of words slowly panning across a surface to convey a simple message."

He continues. "In this spirit, we thought it would be cool to take the idea of a lyric video and stretch it to breaking point, cramming in so many textual and visual interpretations of the song that it becomes almost uninterpretable. This felt all the more relevant at a time when social interactions, work obligations, and even live music itself are conducted from behind the flat faces of computer or telephone screens, mediated by confusing interfaces and dependent on the arbitrary whims of WiFi connections. We have never been more easily interconnected, and yet communication has never felt this hard. In a sense, this is what the song 'Serotonin' is about.

"Built up indecipherably on top of one another, the languages, ciphers, fonts, codes, and texts we use in our video are less a textual translation of our lyrics than a rhythmic component of the song itself. Rather than simply offering a transcription of the words, they instead adopt a more aesthetic, melodic role, optically enacting parts of the music like a computer visualiser or light show. On one hand, if you're familiar with, say, British Sign Language or basic Arabic, our video could open the song to you in a way that might otherwise have remained closed. On the other hand, you could instead be confronted with a confusing collage of disparate symbolic elements, emotive jargon and an abundance of useless visual stimuli. 

"We hope that the accumulative effect of this process creates something akin to a nightmare Zoom conference or the most confusing karaoke tape of all time!"

MOLASSESS was beckoned to life as a commissioned performance for the 2019 edition of Roadburn Festival, five years after THE DEVIL’S BLOOD – a chaotic coterie of musical misfits lead by the efficacious guitarist Selim Lemouchi – ended their fever dance.

The invitation inspired new shoots of creativity to blossom where death had walked. THE DEVIL’S BLOOD’s supernal singer Farida Lemouchi formed new bonds with old cohorts Oeds Beydals, Job van de Zande, and Ron van Herpen (ASTROSONIQ), Bob Hogenelst (BIRTH OF JOY) and Matthijs Stronks (DONNERWETTER). Not a reunion, but a confirmation of deep binds and steadfast connections, much like the substance of their namesake – deep and all-consuming, and impossible to untangle.

Taking their name from the final song on Lemouchi’s solo EP ‘Earth Air Spirit Water’ – and tragically his last mortal offering before his death in 2014, the band is not a continuation of a buried past, nor a celebration of a cherished collaborator, but a culmination of heartache, requisite resolution, a rediscovery of rage and the relighting of a fire that never really burned out.

Recording the music of the Roadburn performance on a two-track single, MOLASSESS released ‘Mourning Haze / Drops Of Sunlight’ via Ván Records in 2019.  The circle was completed once more with the coming together of a tribe that had been torn apart but found their moment of re-connection: being together again, but also being something new.
 
Now, with the band’s first full length, MOLASSESS are setting out on a new path:

AMERICAN THRASH LEGENDS HAVOK ANNOUNCE SPECIAL EDITION VINYL REISSUE SERIES

Legendary American thrashers HAVOK have announced a vinyl re-issue series which will bring three of the band's classic albums back to stores later this year.

The vinyl re-issue series begins this autumn with albums Burn, Time Is Up, and Unnatural Selection hitting the shelves on October 16 via Candlelight Records. They have been lovingly re-mastered for vinyl by Turan Audio and artwork restored by Dan Capp design.

"It's been years since these records have been in print, so we're very excited to announce this limited pressing," says vocalist David Sanchez. "The new records have an updated layout and are being pressed with brand new colors. There are very limited copies of each album, so get them before they sell out. Every colour swirl is completely unique, and these records won't be re-pressed. Get 'em while they're hot!"  

To date, HAVOK has released five studio albums: Burn (2009), Time Is Up (2011), Unnatural Selection (2013), Conformicide (2017), and V (2020). The vinyl re-issue series sees three of these classics re-issued. 

In June 2009, HAVOK released their full-length debut Burn, which received critical acclaim throughout the metal community. The band then returned to the studio to record their sophomore effort, releasing Time Is Up in March 2011. This spread through the metal community, receiving strong reviews from critics and fans alike to become a defining album in what has come to be known as the New Wave of Thrash Metal scene. The success of Time Is Up led the band to join major tours, opening for bands such as thrash metal veterans Forbidden, alongside Revocation and White Wizzard; as well as tours opening for Sepultura, Death Angel, and Anthrax.

HAVOK then began recording their album Unnatural Selection in the spring of 2013 and upon its release in June of that year it charted on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week.

It all started from a discussion that the label team had with their in-house producer Alessandro Del Vecchio after the idea of creating a Frontiers All Stars song had come up. It was everyone's desire to vent about the overall frustration and disappointment that the pandemic situation had created for the world and give a sort of "sign of life," which had to be related to the fact that while all the businesses were shut down, creativity was certainly not on hold.

Alessandro says, "We all know how we will remember 2020. A year when everything stopped and we experienced something unique, tough, and certainly trying. These times are difficult for all the musicians, labels, promoters, and workers of the music industry. The dream felt like it was slipping away and the world seemed a much sadder place without concerts, albums, and all the emotions that music brings. "Push Through" is about how musicians reacted. I've never seen so much music played, shared, and promoted as in this pandemic. My timeline was full of music videos, live streams, bedroom acoustic sessions, and anything that could be done in such a situation. Musicians never stopped. Even in a trying environment we kept our voice out there, kept pushing to release music and this is my tribute to us all, who kept our voices heard. "Push Through" is the anthem to Frontiers and their amazing roster and I'm very glad I could be joined by some of my bandmates, friends, and new found brothers. The line up says it all, they roar those words and let their instruments scream! The result is simply incredible and to see three generations of rockers creates a unique bond never heard or seen before. This is for you all, keep pushing and feeding that PMA!"

Pittsburgh PA’s triple lead guitar outfit Limousine Beach combine concentrated songwriting and nimble fretwork with soaring vocal harmonies to become the world’s first “sizzle rock” band.

“We think the performance video, filmed in our practice space, is a nice introduction and gives folks a little glimpse into our world," says the band about the clip.

Limousine Beach has released their first recorded material on Tee Pee Records June 19, 2020 in the form of an EP entitled "Stealin' Wine +2.". Each composition is a compact blast of expertly crafted songwriting, none of which sacrifice complexity or power for brevity. So knock off work early, crank up the Limousine Beach, and if anyone asks where you are, tell ‘em you’re gone sizzlin’. 

"Based on true events, 'Stealin' Wine' is a tale of airborne liquor theft. When you have 8 hours left to kill on a transatlantic flight, an unattended booze cart is all the motive you need, says the band.

Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Dave Wheeler (Outsideinside, ex-Carousel), the lineup is rounded out by guitarists Evan Mitchell (Cruces) and Jason Sichi (Fist Fight in the Parking Lot), drummer Dan Bhutta (Cruces), and bassist Dan Hernandez (Cruces, Sweat). Drawing inspiration from bands such as The Sweet, The Dictators, Van Halen, The Fucking Champs, Nazareth, Sheer Mag, KISS, Jaguar, and Boston.

Bristol-based singer/songwriter Mark Holley presents new Black Foxxes music in the form of the thrilling new song "Badlands."
