The band will release their new album titled Kill the Machine via The Label Group/INgrooves on June 12, 2020.

"With our 3rd single "Last Chance for the Saints", we wanted to have a song that showcased our influences and encompassed the sound of the band as a whole. This song deals with the damage that has been caused by the opioid epidemic in our country and how others continue to make money off of this damage. Addiction is something that has touched so many of us in so many ways. This song hopefully takes a stance against the destruction of so many of those we love" says Seth Salois.

Solid, Hard Driven, Melodic, and Strong are just a few words to describe the music of Psycle. This 4 piece consisting of Front man/Guitarist Seth Salois, Drummer Jay Spyne, Bass player/Vocalist Mike Kaz and Lead Guitarist Joe Nicolazzo are ready for whatever is thrown their way. Joining forces in 2016 Psycle has continued to work on one major thing...writing a better song than the last. Psycle released their EP Surfaces in September 2017 and received amazing reviews, winning 3 awards at the Stone Chrome Radio Awards show for Breakout Band, Vocalist of the Year and Drummer of the Year. Psycle was the only unsigned act to even be nominated. The band continued to push their most recent single "Face the Fire" to #1 status on Radio Vegas Rocks for several weeks and even had a second single "The Road I'm On" come in at #2 at the same time. With the success of Surfaces, Psycle began writing their follow up and have been working for the past year and a half crafting each song for its anticipated release. The guys were able to play several amazing shows opening for BobaflexProspect Hill and playing the main stage at the East Providence Heritage FestivalPsycle has just finished recording their full length follow up album titled Kill the Machine with producer Chris Piquette at No Boundaries Studios.

Worshipper Releases New Single "Lonesome Boredom Overdrive" On Bandcamp

Tee Pee Records artists Worshipper have released a new single today June 5th on Bandcamp. The new track is called "Lonesome Boredom Overdrive" and you can stream and download it HERE. The song will be available on all other DSP's this coming Monday June 8th.

The band decided to release "Lonesome Boredom Overdrive" today because Bandcamp is waiving their share of sales to support artists impacted by Covid-19, including those donating their share to organizations in support of racial justice and change.

Vocalist/Guitarist John Brookhouse comments on the song,

"Here’s a song that we recorded and mixed for our last record Light in the Wire, but couldn’t quite fit on there for one reason or another. (Run time, mostly.) At a time when many of us are stuck at home, not able to do the things we usually do to entertain ourselves, this song has taken on new meaning. Initially, I came up with the lyrics when I was feeling particularly drained by the daily grind, but now, it seems pretty apropos to put this song out, considering the title and the current dynamic.

This song began with a riff that Al came up with and it may actually be one of our heaviest songs. When we play it live, my head feels like it’s going to collapse, so that’s probably a good sign that a song is fairly heavy. It also has a decidedly Alice in Chains vibe to it, which, let’s be honest for a few of us in the band, was a pretty seminal influence, but was more of a happy accident than anything. So, enjoy! I hope this helps tame your boredom for a moment or two."

Chiasm Announces Release Of Away EP On Industrial Label COP International

Followed By Full-Length Album Missed The Noise In 2020

Listen To The Title Track Single Here

The Industrial-Electronic Project Of Emileigh Rohn

Features Collaborator John Fryer (Black Needle Noise),

The Legendary Producer Behind Depeche Mode, NIN

COP International—the label home of Stabbing WestwardDeathline International and Suicide Queen—today announces its newest release, the 5-song EP Away from industrial-electronic act Chiasm. The project of Detroit-based musician Emileigh RohnChiasm has become known for cultivating lush, eclectic, eerily dystopian sonic landscapes with delicately balanced vocals for the past 20-plus years.

The Away EP, led by the title track single (listen here, in the “releases” section), features writing and musicianship from collaborator John Fryer (Black Needle Noise), the noted producer whose credits include Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, 4AD, Cocteau Twins and Love and Rockets. The EP comes in advance of Chiasm’s full-length album, Missed The Noise, to be released later this year.

“The COP team, along with John Fryer, really knew what I needed. It was absolutely a new adventure. This EP is much more accessible than previous works because we made it so quickly (John moves fast!) so there wasn’t a lot of room for total introspection and intense analysis, which is unusual for me. John makes everything sound beautiful, and I’m so eager for everyone to hear it,” says Rohn. “I also need to acknowledge my home team, including the cats, for the inspiration and encouragement.”

The Away EP follows a long line of notable releases from Chiasm (established in 1997), including the 2001 album Disorder with the track “Isolated” that was featured in the television show NCIS as well as in the Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines computer game. Rohn has also collaborated with genre stars Attrition, Carphax Files, Jean-Marc Lederman, Third Realm, :10:, and Acclimate.

All of Rohn’s previous releases had been self-written, programmed, performed and produced in her Michigan studio known as the MausHaus. The music, and the project name (which refers to the optic chiasm, a crossing of optic neurons in the brain that allow people to have continuous and peripheral vision), are in dedication to her full-time career in the field of science.

Here is what the press has had to say about Chiasm:

"Emileigh Rohn's voice is somewhere between Bjork and kaRIN of Collide—soothing in sound and yet jarring in message” — Outburn Magazine

"What Kate Bush is to pop culture, Chiasm is to electronic music" — Zillo

"The often dismal character of the Motor City is known for inspiring a host of instrumental techno artists, but Chiasm (Emileigh Rohn) chooses to express her angst through very intimate and intense audio exorcisms
that juxtapose her ethereal, haunting vocals and confrontational snarls with murky, minimalist industrial sounds. … An audio diary full of electro energy and honest emotion that gives the idea of 'girl power' a whole new spin" — CMJ

"Emileigh Rohn's music is one of the often overlooked treasures of the dark electro/industrial genre"— LiarSociety

MUSHROOMHEAD Releases Cinematic Post-Apocalyptic Music Video for New Track "The Heresy"

Pre-order "A Wonderful Life" now: https://smarturl.it/MRH-AWonderfulLife Out June 19 Directed and Produced by Steve Felton Production by Co. SK1 Industries

Eighth Full-Length Album, A Wonderful Life,

Out June 19 via Napalm Records | Pre-Order HERE

Foster the future and nurture the land

Stitches and sutures, divisions in sand

Mass evacuations, Sanctions for land

It’s time we stand for something

Walking hand and hand

Top-charting heavy rock/metal machine MUSHROOMHEAD recently made their prodigious return with the announcement of their upcoming full-length oeuvre, A Wonderful Life – the eighth release of their benchmark career – scheduled for release on June 19, 2020 via Napalm Records.

A Wonderful Life clocks in at a whopping 70+ minutes with its four bonus tracks – leaving a total of 17 stellar compositions in its wake for fans to devour. Today – after impacting at Active Rock radio with the first of those compositions to be released, the single "Seen It All", and garnering over a million views on its accompanying music video in only a matter of weeks – the band has dropped another official music video for a new track "The Heresy", released last week to the acclaim of fans and critics alike.

Hair-raisingly dynamic and socially-inclined, “The Heresy” is a melodic, haunting rally cry featuring the stunning lead vocals of Ms. Jackie, which were recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London. The new music video sees the band continue their tradition of releasing cinematic music videos of the highest quality, this time taking place inside of a post-apocalyptic bunker! Vocalist J Mann described the track as, “The soundtrack to a dystopian delirium, cinematic and surreal!"

MUSHROOMHEAD mastermind and drummer/percussionist Skinny says about the video:

“We wanted to do something a little more thought-provoking this time around. With the current state of the world going to Hell in a hand basket, we wanted to incorporate something that delivered the swift transportation of certain doom. The manufacturing of war power and the stockpiling of faith. The willful destruction of the past, the future, and ultimately humanity.”

Pre-Order A Wonderful Life HERE

Available in several enticing formats (see HERE), A Wonderful Life is accented by the sharp production of band mastermind/drummer Skinny, as well as the standout mixing prowess of Matt Wallace (Faith No More3 Doors Down), also recognized for his work on the band’s standout album, XIII.

At its start, an ominous choir invites the listener into A Wonderful Life – introductory track “A Requiem For Tomorrow” smoothly shifts into an industrial-metal inspired, grooving punch to the gut juxtaposed with a melodic, synth-laden chorus. This sets the stage for stocky, chant-worthy anthems such as “Seen It All” and hair-raising, politically-inclined tracks like “The Heresy” and “Carry On”, both featuring the sinister multi-voice attack of new full-time vocalist Ms. Jackie and returning longtime vocalist J Mann, with an extra strike from aforementioned new vocalist Mr. Rauckhorst on the latter. Tracks like “What A Shame”“I Am The One” and “Madness Within” will prove a treat for new and diehard MUSHROOMHEAD fans alike – providing the macabre inspiration followers have come to crave with a weighty dose of galloping drums and bone-rattling guitars, to boot.

MUSHROOMHEAD attacks track after track with a refreshed focus, delivering a carefully-curated selection of certified future hits. A Wonderful Life re-cements the band’s position as one of the most consistently impactful heavy bands of our generation.

A Wonderful Life will be available for purchase in an array of formats (click HERE) – including digital, CD digipak, and black or multi-colored vinyl – as well as in exciting bundle arrangements featuring limited edition skateboards and cover art t-shirts. Plus, all first edition vinyl pressings of A Wonderful Life include a cardboard punch out MUSHROOMHEAD mask. Hurry, many formats are available in limited quantities and are going fast!

Stay tuned for more coming soon from MUSHROOMHEAD!

ABYSMAL DAWN previously released "The Path of the Totalitarian," the second single from their forthcoming fifth studio album, 'Phylogenesis.' The song is available along with an accompanying 360°  visualizer at THIS LOCATION.

American death metal masters Abysmal Dawn are back! After a six-year gap, the Los Angeles-based outfit and Season of Mist hereby present Phylogenesis. Not that Abysmal Dawn have laid low since the release of 2014’s lauded Obsolescence full-length. Far from it. They toured North America four times and hit Europe and South America for the first time. Meanwhile, founding member Charles Elliott opened his studio, Tastemaker Audio, to accelerate Abysmal Dawn's own recording needs, as well to act as a bridge to other bands in need of a knowledgeable and relatable audio technician. But the road to Phylogenesis wasn’t an easy one. Besides work-horsing it throughout the U.S., Canada, Sweden, Germany, the UK, Brazil, Chile, and beyond in support of Obsolescence, Elliott and crew managed through some of the lowest points in Abysmal Dawn’s career. Internal strife, administrative burdens, musical differences, and motivation all had their various ways with the Californians. Yet, from the darkest depths, they prevailed, heralding a new chapter in the group’s storied history. Indeed, Phylogenesis is Abysmal Dawn’s rebirth!

“There was a brief period after doing two months of touring back-to-back in the U.S. and Europe in 2015 that I almost felt like calling it quits,” Abysmal Dawn’s Charles Elliott says. "It was our first time in Europe and I just had a hard time enjoying it. The band had grown, and I was a bit tired of having to handle most of the managerial aspects of what we do. The joy had been ripped from things and people weren't getting along, and some people acted like they didn't want to be there. But we went our separate ways with some of the members and all of a sudden, the band was fun again. They went on to other things and we're probably all happier in the end. Sometimes, I feel it's a miracle this album or band even still exists. I've avoided swearing on our records in the past, but the album's opening line is actually, 'Fuck you all!' Maybe it's primitive by our past lyrical standards but it's genuine and it's the most heartfelt, ‘Fuck you, we’re still here’ I could put on a record. I’m glad we stuck it out because I think this is our proudest moment so far.”

To say Phylogenesis is an extension or continuation of Obsolescence isn’t exactly as straightforward as it should be. On one hand, all the Abysmal Dawn trademarks—technicality, brutality, and melody—remain ingrained in the songwriting fabric. On the other, the band’s fifth full-length is more cohesive, rhythmically sophisticated, and far more adventurous. Elliott calls it “a major evolution.” Certainly, the six years of constant refinement, edge smoothing, and transition adjustments have paid off. What started as jam sessions between Elliott, bassist Eliseo Garcia, and drummer James Coppolino in 2016 eventually turned into one-offs. That there was no time limit to put Phylogenesis together ended up both a blessing and a curse. Total creative freedom at very little expense is a dream scenario, something a band of Abysmal Dawn’s stature took advantage of for their magnum opus. But without a ticking clock and dollars burning, the pressure to focus was far less severe, resulting in delays and feature creep.

“It was basically James, Eliseo and me meeting up at my place, jamming on ideas, seeing what worked and tweaking them from there,” says Elliott. “With the exception of ‘Hedonistic,’ James wrote all his drum parts. Obsolescence was demoed with me programming all the drums since our drummer at the time had moved up north. It was what it was, but it was pretty frustrating at the time. Having someone to bounce ideas off of in real-time, helped in maintaining the joy and momentum of making this album. Once it was time to record bass and leads, Eliseo and Vito [Petroni; guitars] would trickle in when they had ideas. We had no real deadline and seemingly infinite time to do things. Admittedly, I think it was hard for me to focus on the lyrics, not only because of things in my personal life but because I was focused on getting the guys in to complete their parts so I could focus.”

Finish Phylogenesis they did, in fact. Under significant duress, Abysmal Dawn had overcome their roadblocks. The results of the group’s undulating professional and personal schedules aren’t to be trifled with, however. Opening track “Mundane Existence” is a firestorm of labyrinthine yet savage riffs, enraged vocals, and machine-gun drumming. It’s death metal personified, enlightened, and perfected. Elsewhere, tracks such as “The Path of the Totalitarian,” “A Speck in the Fabric of Eternity,” and “Soul-Sick Nation” (feat. Fredrik Folkare of Unleashed, Firespawn, et al.) pose real threats to the status quo. In all three, Elliott’s passion for and dominance of death metal’s tenets are tangible. But there’s more to Abysmal Dawn on Phylogenesis than customary ritual. From the ruthless groove of “Hedonistic” and the staccato stabs of “Coerced Evolution” to the late album gem “The Lament Configuration” and the blistering cover of Death classic “Flattening of Emotion,” the songs are designed to slay in ways we’re just beginning to understand.

“We’re a pretty brutal death metal band, but what I feel like sets us apart is that no matter what we do there’s always some underlying sense of melody and hooks,” Elliott says. “There are lots of bands that are ridiculously brutal. There are lots of bands that are over-the-top technically or are blatantly melodic. We combine all that but we try to write something that sticks with you over time; that you'll keep coming back to, and that works well in the live environment. We love all types of music, whether it's fusion or industrial music, and it shines through here and there. But in the end, though, we're a pure death metal band at heart trying to retain that old-school feel with an updated take for a new generation.”

Conceptually, Phylogenesis deals with the breakdown of social constructs humans have built over time. The album title is defined by the evolution of (or diversification) a species. So, Phylogenesis is an ironic take on Elliott’s observations, particularly how social media has accelerated and exacerbated the de-evolution of humanity’s interactive abilities. The cover art, again by Swedish artist Pär Olofsson, isn’t directly correlated to the lyrical narrative, but it does continue where Obsolescence left off. The Olofsson cover art has envisioned what it’s like on the inside of the Obsolescence tower, and that it’s humans that are being fed back to humans. The cover art continuity is akin to Richard Fleischer’s famed Soylent Greenfilm but ripped through Elliott’s demented death metal lens.

“I think the lyrics deal a lot with things we encounter in our modern society and the effect it has on the individual,” says Elliott. “The dehumanization effect and divisiveness caused by bickering on social media (‘The Path of the Totalitarian’), the decay of legitimate journalism (‘True to the Blind’), struggling to find purpose in the pursuit of happiness (‘Hedonistic’), wishing something was greater than yourself (‘Mundane Existence’), the mental illness epidemic (‘Soul-Sick Nation’), embracing pain over numbness to feel alive (‘The Lament Configuration’), having our consciousnesses uploaded to a grid in order to make life sustainable on Earth (‘Coerced Evolution’), and the common theme throughout the band of wishing life on Earth would just start over (‘A Speck in the Fabric of Eternity’). I had started off wanting it to be a concept record but later scrapped that idea because I didn't like how it was going. In the end though, it just naturally all tied together in some way. Even the Death cover seemed to fit lyrically in hindsight. ‘Coerced Evolution’ is really the only song that in the sci-fi vein this time around. As for Pär, yes, he did the cover art once again. We love working with him and we’ve been creating great covers with him since 2006.”

Abysmal Dawn recorded Phylogenesis over a multi-year timeframe. In fact, Coppolino’s drums were tracked as far back as 2017 with long-time collaborator John Haddad at Trench Studios. The rhythm guitars and vocals, as produced by Mike Bear and Elliott, were also done at Tastemaker Audio the same year. So, some of Phylogenesis goes back, but the parts are no less lethal. Slowly but surely, the group’s newest and greatest materialized, with Elliott finishing the lead guitars, bass, additional vocals, re-amping, and mixing sessions in 2019, again at Tastemaker Audio. Abysmal Dawn then packaged up their fifth for mastering ace Tony Lindgren (Rotting Christ) to handle at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. Contemporary yet absolutely remorseless, Abysmal Dawn’s Phylogenesis is death metal for a new age.

“We took our time and went to few studios this time around, so it’s a bit of a laundry list,” Elliott says. “John Haddad engineered the drums at Trench Studios. John has been involved with all our records in some form since From Ashes. Mike Bear helped track and produce the vast majority of my vocals and rhythm guitars out of my studio. Mike produced both Leveling the Plane of Existence (2010) and Obsolescence. I tracked and produced all the leads, bass parts, and other odds and ends and mixed the album as well. Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios mastered the record in the end.”

As for Abysmal Dawn’s next steps, the quartet await the release of Phylogenesis. With past support coming from the Village VoiceDecibelPopMatters, and Pandora, as well as the group's rabidly-devoted fanbase, the future of death metal is in good hands.

Beginning with a dreamlike acoustic introduction accented by the smoky beckonings of singer Brittney Slayes, opener “Waking Dream” quickly punches into a colossal wall of sound, setting the stage for the auditory escape that is Abyss. Powerful anthems such as the immense power metal-encapsulated title track “Abyss” and metallic pop-tinged earworm “Through Stars” conjure classic elements while maintaining an entirely fresh, forward-thinking approach. Guitarists Andrew Kingsley and Grant Truesdell turn heads with wicked work on stellar tracks such as “Legacy” (fans of artists like Devin Townsend and Astronoid, take note), while Slayes showcases her incredible vocal diversity and range on mighty epics like “Return To Me” and “The Wind That Shapes The Land”. Drummer Scott Buchanan makes technical strides on burners “Soulbound” and “Faster Than Light” – setting breakneck twists and turns ablaze with his bandmates. UNLEASH THE ARCHERS rounds the edge of Abysswith throwback-hued “Carry The Flame”, and wraps up with the soaring, rewarding concept closer “Afterlife”.

Thematically, Abyss is the direct sequel to the band’s 2017 album Apex. Frontwoman Brittney Slayes explains about the concept:

“Our protagonist, The Immortal, is once again awakened at the beginning of our story, but this time he is in an unknown place: a ship out in deep space. He wanders alone for a time, reflecting on his misdeeds, searching for his new master. Finally, he finds him, and learns that it is the Grandson of The Matriarch, our antagonist. The Immortal had taken The Grandson’s father away some sixty years before, to be sacrificed by The Matriarch in a ritual to achieve immortality (the events from Apex) and now the Grandson seeks revenge against The Matriarch with the aid of her own weapon, The Immortal.

This album is a classic take on good versus evil, light versus dark, The Grandson versus The Matriarch, but it also uses the ‘person versus self’ literary device in that The Immortal is battling with the good and evil within himself, and must decide in the end if he is simply a tool for others to use, or a man with free will and the ability to choose his own path; a struggle I think every human can relate to.”

Abyss was once again engineered, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen of Hansen Studios in Denmark (Volbeat, Delain, Amaranthe), with production by guitarist Andrew Kingsley. Additionally, transcendent closer track “Afterlife” features orchestration contributions from Francesco Ferrini of Italian symphonic death metal machine Fleshgod ApocalypseFans will notice that, unlike on ApexAbyss incorporates a weighty dose of synth in the mix, and for the first time ever, all tracks were written on seven strings – adding to the massive expanse of the album’s sound as it explores the celestial realm.

As mentioned, the Deluxe Earbook edition of Abyss features two bonus tracks – synthwave and gothic folk-pop versions of “Abyss” and “Soulbound”, respectively. This is something UNLEASH THE ARCHERS has never done before, turning their singles into something completely different!

Brittney Slayes adds:

“I hope you enjoy our alternate interpretations of “Abyss” and “Soulbound”, because they honestly show a side of us as musicians that we probably wouldn't be able to showcase otherwise.  We all listen to a lot of different genres of music, but these two bonus tracks give huge insight into the music we were listening to as we recorded Abyss... not just metal, but synthwave, pop, and even a bit of country!”

UNLEASH THE ARCHERS is:

Brittney Slayes - Vocals

Scott Buchanan - Drums

Grant Truesdell - Guitar, Vocals

Andrew Kingsley - Guitar, Vocals, Synth

Prospect Hill and their new release "Celebrate

Many remember Prospect Hill and the release that came out a year ago "Get Out" fans who have been following them know their story for the past ten or so years and this single "Celebrate" really is a gift to all of their fans. Set to celebrate living life, enjoying good times with friends, loving others, listening to music, laying poolside, hanging out at a local pub, attending a concert all the things we all love dearly! So with that Prospect Hill brings you "Celebrate".

The Massachusetts band's new single “Celebrate” was created in collaboration between Prospect Hill, writer/ producer Shaun Lichtenstein (Pop Evil, Lansdowne) , and writer Producer Jim Foster (P.O.D, Nullset) . Prospect Hill drummer Roberge was inspired to author the lyrics based on his opinion of what the world looks like through the lens of social media. The lyrics paint a picture of the vanity and the over politically charged platform that we have all grown to participate in - in one way or another. However, with everyone showing their differences of opinion and social stature, it only reveals how much we are all the same; death will come for all of us one day and that we should all take social media with a grain of salt and continue to live happy, 'celebrated' lives.

Musically, the band wanted to honor the grunge and rock sounds they all grew up on; taking influence from Nirvana, Deftones, and the like, as well as incorporating the staples of their sound that their fans have grown to love them for.

Prospect Hill feels that in these uncertain times of the pandemic, this song has never been more relevant as the increased activity on social media platforms shines an even bigger spotlight on the way we interact with one another in the digital world. Being able to step back from the noise and be happy. “Celebrate" is more important than ever and the band hopes their existing fans (and new fans to come) will find that message in the track.

The song was recorded and produced by OH NO! ØKTAPUS & Doc. D and Mixed and Mastered by Shaun Lichtenstein @ Red 13 Studios in Framingham, MA.

Download/Stream "Celebrate"

Prospect Hill has been a band since 2005 and have toured extensively through the US. The band signed a deal in 2012 with Carved Records (Texas Hippie Coalition, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown) after their album Impact charted #1 at Billboard for Boston Album Sales and multiple Heatseeker Territories. Their single “ Come Alive ” (which was picked up early by SiriusXM Octane ) expected to break at Active Rock in the Top 5 with a full radio team behind it. Unfortunately, the label dropped the radio team and the single went to radio with no money or personnel support leaving it to do its thing organically. Due to the band's extensive touring and relationship building, many stations across the country added the single to rotation and the song organically climbed to #42 on the Active Rock Charts . Since the label didn't hold up their end of the deal, the band was able to pull out of the deal and go back to being independent. With a stunted single and a frustrated team, the band headed back out on the road for another two years only to come home, take a break, and limit their touring to a few dates a year and limited releases.

This new single “ Celebrate ” is the culmination of that down time, frustration, and eagerness to get the engine reignited. The band is currently writing for a new EP and will plan to tour once the pandemic is over.

The Brazilian black metal stalwarts of MYSTIFIER have shared a two-part mini-documentary, 'Mystifier - Two days in the Capital of Death Metal,' (Dois dias na Capital do Metal da Morte) which follows the band in Belo Horizonte (BR) at the start of their “Under the Black Magick Dinasty 2020" tour. The film explores the history of the band as well as the early days of the Brazilian metal scene. The band visits iconic metal landmarks in this Latin American city such as the Bonfim Cemetary, where SARCOFAGO took the pics for 'INRI' and the Cogumelo Records shop. The clips also include behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsals, and more!

Watch Part One.
Watch Part Two.

The band comments:

"On our trip to the wonderful city of Belo Horizonte/MG - Brazil (which is the city of Sepultura, Sarcofago and others of extreme acts from the 80s), we recorded this documentary about our tour to promote the recent album 'Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia,' released by Season of Mist, in March 2019.

"The documentary was recorded in November 2019 and we had no idea what was coming. We didn't even mention about the pandemic... As all of you know, all of our plans for 2020 have been ruined.

"All of our tours were canceled in Asia, Europe, United States, Canada and so on.

"Despite our Mother Earth's relentless rage against humans (Coronavirus),
we are already working on new compositions. Beelzeebubth is working on a solo project too.

"A big hug to all our fans, friends, bands, producers, road crews, label and tour managers, pub staff and so on. We can't wait to come back to road to keep our work on and on.

"Greetings form Brazil.
Stay safe !;;!
Beelzeebubth & Mystifier"

In addition to the documentary, MystifieR has also recently released videos for the songs "Witching Lycanthropic Moon" and "Akhenaton (Son Mighty Sun)," both taken from 2019's 'Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia.' The videos can be seen HERE and HERE, respectively.

'Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteiacan' can be purchased in various formats at THIS LOCATION.

Brazilian act MYSTIFIER was formed by lead guitarist and bassist Beelzeebubth, drummer Lucifuge Rofocale, guitarist Behemoth, and vocalist Meugninousouan in Salvador, Bahia in 1989. The band created an aggressive, fast, and malignant sound within the classic black metal style, which makes them veterans of their scene.

A first demo tape, which was entitled 'Tormenting the Holy Trinity' came out in November 1989 and secured the band several shows all over Brazil. The 7" debut single 'The Evil Ascension Returns', as well as a second demo entitled 'Aleister Crowley', led to widespread underground recognition for MYSTIFIERin 1990.

MYSTIFIER's debut full-length, 'Wicca,' was already released worldwide in 1992 and the Brazilians managed to cement their reputation with each following record and accompanying tour. 'Göetia' hit the streets in 1993, 'The World Is So Good That Who Made It Does Not Live Here' followed in 1996, and 'Profanus' came out in 2001. In the wake of the deluxe box 'Baphometic Goat Worship' (2008), MYSTIFIER performed at the NWN Festival ll in Berlin, Germany and several other festivals around the globe.

As time went by, MYSTIFIER underwent some radical line-up changes. Vocalist Leandro Kastyphas was replaced by the exceptional Diego Sorcerer Do’Urden from INFESTED BLOOD, and drummer Alex Rocha (POISONOUS) handed his sticks over to Edward WarMonger (formerly of MEDICINE DEATH), who brought much experience and maturity to the group's compositions.

Having wrecked stages throughout South and North America, Europe and other places with several sold-out shows during the 'Bloodshed Rituals' tour in support of ROTTING CHRIST, MYSTIFIER are now proudly presenting their newest offering ‘Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia!'

Line-up:
Do’Urden: vocals, bass, keyboard
Beelzeebubth: backing vocals, guitar
Warmonger: drums, percussion

EARTH ROT Shares New Live Video for "Unraveling Vapour of Sanity"

Taken from the album 'Black Tides Of Obscurity'. Release Date: March 06th, 2020. Order here: https://smarturl.it/EarthRotBlackTides Subscribe to Season Of Mi...

Australian blackened death metal outfit EARTH ROT has shared a brand new live video for the track "Unraveling Vapour of Sanity," which is taken from the band's latest release, 'Black Tides Of Obscurity.'

EARTH ROT comments: "While we can't tour or even meet up to create a video, our good friend NJV Media has pieced this video together for 'Unravelling Vapour Of Sanity' from our Melbourne show of the Dread Rebirth tour in March. While we spend our isolation starving off madness, this track seems the appropriate choice."

'Black Tides of Obscurity' was released in March of 2020 and can be ordered HERE.

It's not all prog that comes from the land down under! EARTH ROT is Australia's blackened death metal machine, with an old-school undercurrent and a sense of grim relentless groove. It is hateful, harmful, sinister and melancholy noise, shaped by the world around you.

Since the inception in 2014, EARTH ROT have pulled no punches, recording, releasing and touring heavily across Australia, Asia and Europe with no intent of settling for anything less. Their debut album 'Follow The Black Smoke' was released in the same year, quickly followed by the 'Chthonian Virtues' EP (2016) and a second full length 'Renascentia' in 2017.

In the years after, the band embarked on heavy tours together with acts like FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, PSYCROPTIC, VADER and MARDUK, cultivating their sound in direct support of legends in the realms of black and death metal, around the world. The past five years has seen EARTH ROT quickly develop into a complex beast, dwelling in the deepest of pits. And this beast is ready to be released upon the masses.

With 'Black Tides of Obscurity,' EARTH ROT portray the absurdity of life and reflects life’s journey which is often loaded with uncomfortable discoveries and unexplored drives & desires, contorting into spiraling madness. The new offering is letting you explore the reality of the new cosmic horror of human insignificance and the fragility of the mind…

NEW HARD ROCK BAND FROM SINGER ROSA LARICCHIUTA Black Rose Maze is singer Rosa Laricchiuta’s very own hard rock project and August 7, 2020 will see the release of her self-titled debut. The album is comprised of driving hard rock that backs up Rosa’s unbelievably powerful voice. For your first taste of music, check out first single and video, 'In The Dark

Stream the single and pre-order/save "Black Rose Maze" HERE: https://orcd.co/blackrosemaze

This self-titled debut album is a showcase of Rosa’s own songs, together with a few cuts which were penned for Rosa by the likes of Clif Magness (Steve Perry, Avril Lavigne), Nasson (Chaos Magic, Sinner’s Blood), and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, JORN, Revolution Saints etc.). Produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio, this awesome record should not be missed by anyone who has a penchant for melodic hard rock with a contemporary edge.

Says Laricchiuta, “I am honoured to introduce my very first full rock album and cool collaboration with insanely talented musicians, vocalists, and writers from all over the world! I am so excited it’s almost here!”

“It took me some time to write 'In The Dark' simply because it speaks truth about a time in my life where I felt trapped and alone. A time when I broke free from emotional abuse,” she continues about the first single.

Rosa Laricchiuta is a singer, songwriter, and performer from Montreal, Quebec. After several years cutting her teeth with live shows, she auditioned for the third season (2015) of "La Voix", Quebec's version of the popular TV show "The Voice”. Rosa had an instant connection with the legendary francophone rocker Éric Lapointe and chose him as her coach. Rosa showed a solid stage presence, with remarkable intensity and a voice so powerful it sent her straight to the Grand Finale where she shared the stage with Def Leppard, Kelly Clarkson, Jean Leloup, and her idol, Melissa Etheridge. She left a lasting impression as she won over millions of viewers who named her the new "it" female rocker of Quebec.

She then released one album in the Quebec market before beginning work on her first English language album in 2016. That album, “Free" was released the following year and at the end of the year, she joined the popular American band Trans-Siberian Orchestra for their annual mega tour of the United States. Rosa was then brought to the attention of Frontiers by none other than fellow Trans-Siberian Orchestra bandmates and now label mates, Dino Jelusick (Animal Drive) and Jeff Scott Soto – who also makes a guest vocal appearance on the album.

Line-up:

Rosa Laricchiuta - Vocals

Jeff Scott Soto - Vocals on “Laws Of Attraction”

Alessandro Del Vecchio - Bass, keyboards

Andrea Seveso - Guitars

Michele Sanna - Drums

Mighty WARKINGS to Release New Single and Official Video “Warriors”

Pre-order "Revenge" now! https://smarturl.it/WarkingsRevenge-NPR Out July 31st WARKINGS Warriors - Prepare yourself! A new crusade arises with the mighty WAR...

New Album Revenge

Out on July 31 | Pre-Order Starts TODAY!

We ride the thunder, lightning is our sword, the blaze across the Eastern sky, keepers of the call -

Forevermore.

WARKINGS Warriors - Prepare yourself! A new crusade arises with the mighty WARKINGS and their new album Revenge, to be released via Napalm Records on July 31st! The band enters the battleground and faces ghoulish demons with the formidable weapon made of pure Heavy Metal. The four ancient kings, a roman Tribune, a wild Viking, a noble Crusader and a martial Spartan, gathered in the halls of Valhalla, escape from the realms of obscurity and steal their souls from the Lord of the Abyss. In a bloodthirsty furor, the demons seek revenge on the WARKINGS but Odin’s legates are more than ready to vanquish the Monarchs of the dusk with their hard-hitting anthems. Folklore-like elements like the opener “Freedom”, the death angel’s chant “Azrael” or the epic hymn “Warriors” prove the WARKINGS’ uncompromising vigor.

In order to sweeten the wait for Revenge, the WARKINGS present their first single “Warriors”today. This battle hymn is made of pure Heavy Metal: straight forward riffs, sing-along lyrics and attacking drums pay tribute to the Order of the Dragon, including their most known member Vlad “Dracula” Tepes! Accompanied by a fast-paced official video, featuring a beautiful scenery and the epic story of a battle well-fought, this track will sweep you off your feet.

The Tribune on “Warriors”:

“Hell wants revenge…so we will fight fire with fire. We forged an alliance with the order of the dragon and the infamous Vlad Tepes.”

WARKINGS - Revenge:

Once, there were four ancient kings who gathered in the golden halls of Valhalla, a roman Tribune, a wild Viking, a noble Crusader and a martial Spartan. They were sent back to the living by the allfather himself to tell the stories of the epic battles they fought.

It turned out to be a great time for the WARKINGS, striking the world with their battle hymns. Keen of new adventures they made their way through the land of the living. But as the fame of the four kings rose, the envy and hate of the Underworld grew.

When the four kings escaped from the realms of darkness, they stole their souls from the lords of the Underworld. In rage, bloodthirsty demons and warriors swarmed out to retrieve what belonged to them, seeking for revenge on those who betrayed them.

But the kings strike back. Leading the constantly growing legion of their WARKINGS Warriors, they will enter the eternal fight against the darkness. Armed with new hymns and with a mighty battle cry, they will put themselves against the forces of the underworld

Hell wants revenge...and the WARKINGS are ready for battle.

The Crusader on Revenge:

“We are back to crush the armies of the underworld with steel and battle axe. Join us…we need you battle cry!!!”

WARKINGS are:

Tribune – Vocals

Crusader – Guitars

DUKES OF THE ORIENT ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE + VIDEO, 'THE MONITORS' OUT NOW

SOPHOMORE ALBUM

"FREAKSHOW' TO BE RELEASED AUGUST 7, 2020

Dukes of the Orient, which features John Payne and Erik Norlander, will finally release their eagerly anticipated second album, “Freakshow” on August 7, 2020. “Freakshow" is the second album from Dukes of the Orient, the international AOR band with a Mid-Atlantic Prog accent, following their impressive self-titled debut that successfully launched the group in 2018. The first taste of music from the album comes in the form of the single and video, 'The Monitors'

Stream 'The Monitors' and pre-order/save "Freakshow" here: https://orcd.co/freakshow

John Payne says, "Working on the second Dukes of the Orient album has been a very cathartic experience. The addition of Alex Garcia, guitar, and Frank Klepacki, drums, was a very positive move for a more signature, cohesive sound. As with the previous album, we continue our rich analog keyboard approach layered with guitars by myself and Alex.

Mixed and recorded on a traditional board with vintage outboard, we wanted to create an echo to the past and write songs with strong melodic content."

"Freakshow is much more focused both in concept and in sound as it was written and recorded in a single year with a tight group of musicians," says Erik Norlander. "Our debut album came out fantastic, but it was recorded over a period of 10 years with many different contributing musicians, and in many ways, it sounds like that. Freakshow has the cohesiveness of vision where the same five musicians performed all the material that was written expressly for this album. I also think our writing on this album is more focused for the same reasons. After working together for so many years, I can write a vocal melody for John, he can write a keyboard part for me, and the parts just work right out of the gate.”

Dukes of the Orient is a collaboration between vocalist John Payne (ex-ASIA, GPS) with keyboardist Erik Norlander (Last in Line, Lana Lane, Rocket Scientists). Payne’s powerful arena-seasoned vocals carry soaring melodies and lush harmonies over the sea of classic synthesizers and keyboards artfully painted with Norlander’s signature sonic palette.

Dukes of the Orient origins lay in 2007 with “ASIA Featuring John Payne,” a band that continued on after ASIA keyboardist Geoff Downes left the band to re-form the original 1982 lineup. Payne recruited Norlander to join the band for tour dates in the US and that’s where their partnership began. Eventually Asia Featuring John Payne would come up with the track “Seasons Will Change,” which was released as a video in 2013 and that eventually found its way onto the Dukes of the Orient debut.

Following the death of original ASIA vocalist, John Wetton, in early 2017, Payne and Norlander decided that these recordings they had been working on for ASIA Featuring John Payne should give birth to a new band, both out of respect for Wetton and for clarity with the Downes-led ASIA. Dukes of the Orient are however the legitimate successors of John Payne’s Asia. If you like albums such as “Aqua,” “Aura,” or “Silent Nation” then Dukes Of The Orient is for you!

MADAME MAYHEM released her new single "BREAKING DOWN" today!
"Breaking Down," is the follow up to 2019's "Broken." Madame Mayhem enlisted the help of Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin), and Billy Sheehan with Jason "J Bomb" Harrison on drums to create her vision. Madame Mayhem co wrote "Breaking Down" with Brian Vodinh (10 Years)and it was Produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Johnny K (Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Staind, Megadeth).

Those who yearn for the electric catharsis of loud guitars, driving rhythms, hypnotic
hooks, and the strength of shared experience have a new muse in Madame Mayhem.

The Manhattan born singer/songwriter and burgeoning rock icon-in-the-making has weaponized the darkness, turning it into a rallying cry for all who were ever cast aside. Songs are equal parts timeless sentiment, bare knuckle fury, and energized urgency. Madame Mayhem’s songs rival the best of Modern Rock, early ‘90s emotive-grunge, and nü-metal angst.

As her name suggests, Madame Mayhem takes charge of her own anxiety, hurt, and alienation, crushing it with sheer force of will, then channeling the remaining ether into pulse-pounding anthems, instantly connecting with anyone who has struggled.

She has toured with Sevendust, Memphis May Fire, FozzyNonpoint and Doro. Across three exceedingly well-received albums – Ready for Me (2017)Now You Know (2015), and White Noise (2012) –Madame Mayhem worked with Russ “Satchel” Parrish (Steel Panther), Corey Lowery (Stuck Mojo), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), and Troy McLawhorn (Evanescence) to name just a few. Her 2019 single was co-written with Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin) and features her longtime friends and collaborators Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) and Ray Luzier (Korn).

Her music has taken her into some of the world’s best-known venues, like B.B. King Blues Club in New York, The Roxy in Hollywood, and a Grammy week stint at Nashville’s Bluebird Café, to name just a few. Loudwire premiered her “Ready for Me” music video. She’s garnered very positive press in Revolver and Guitar World. The buzz has spread overseas as well, demonstrated by profiles in long-running tastemaker publications like Rock Hard, Aardschok, and Metal Hammer magazine.

As the fashion press observed, the look is the medium and the music is the message. The self-expression inherent in goth and glam are just more colors on Madame Mayhem’s artistic palette. Black eyeliner and black leather; pink lips and sharp spikes; it’s part of an arsenal as timeless as the New York Dolls or The Runaways.

There’s no escaping the darkness. Life is full of unpleasant surprises. Real and imagined disasters, from outside forces and from within, threaten at every turn. But those who learn to control and command the chaos will triumph. This rock n’ roll badass invites each audience to become the Madame of their own Mayhem. As ASX declared, “She’s aggressive, outrageous, and operatic… And she’s ready for you.”
