Cultus Black is set to release their latest track, ”Witch Hunt”

Live in-studio music video "Witch Hunt" by Cultus Black. Produced and directed by Blackplate Productions. https://www.facebook.com/blackplateproductions/ Joi...

Cult-like metal band, Cultus Black is set to release their latest track, ”Witch Hunt” today in the form of a live in-studio music video. Blackplate productions wanted to capture the raw intensity of Cultus Black and they felt this was the best way to do it. This is not a well-polished, plastic, auto-tuned sort of production. This thing is raw, intense and most of all... its real. Cult leader "L" was quoted as saying “This track is for anyone who has ever felt persecuted, anyone who has ever felt like a victim, anyone who was ever made to feel stupid or less than. This song is here to show the world that we don’t give a fuck.”

Cultus Black was set to begin touring with Hed PE on May 27th but this tour has been pushed back due to the Covid 19 virus. New dates have yet to be confirmed but will be scheduled as soon as possible. The band is also set to perform at Metal in the Mountains in West Virginia at a yet to be determined date.

Cultus Black is an aggressive hard-hitting project that identifies itself as a cult. Their music is heavy and unapologetic, yet it is often marked with mesmerizing melodies that could draw in even the most cynical listener. Cultus Black is also identified by their strange appearance. The frontman “L” stalks stages in ritualistic body paint as other cult members surround him in white masks meant to hide their identity. Cultus Black is set to release their debut album in late 2020. Recorded and produced by Producer James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Hands Like Houses, Paramore).

“Witch Hunt” can be found on all platforms as of May 29th.

ALESSANDRO DEL VECCHIO RELEASES DEMO COLLECTION

"SOUNDS FROM THE NOTEBOOK - THE DEMO SESSIONS" OUT NOW

FEATURES ORIGINAL VERSIONS OF SONGS BY HARDLINE, REVOLUTION SAINTS, AND MORE

Alessandro Del Vecchio has released "Sounds From The Notebook - The Demo Sessions," a collection of the original versions of tracks later recorded by Hardline, Revolution Saints, Find Me, Edge Of Forever, Place Vendome, Sunstorm, and more. Hear the surprise, digital only, release here: https://orcd.co/soundsnotebook

Alessandro Del Vecchio has become a household name in the modern rock scene, associated with bands like Hardline, Jorn, Revolution Saints, Edge Of Forever, and more. From producing to songwriting, Alessandro’s journey with Frontiers Records has brought the melodic rock world an undeniably vast and successful catalogue of songs. Either as a band member and producer or as an outside writer, Alessandro has helped to shape some of today’s names and very much loved albums from the likes of Hardline, JORN, Edge Of Forever, Revolution Saints, Find Me, and more.

Alessandro’s songwriting contributions and wide range of musical talents is highlighted in the singles that he has penned for the artists who performed the songs, so the idea of creating a compilation of songs of Alessandro’s in their original demo form was born. "Sounds From The Notebook - The Demo Sessions" sheds a light on his creative process and the birth of these songs.

"Sounds From The Notebook - The Demo Sessions" is a glimpse at Alessandro’s original vision of these songs while also digging into his songwriting process, providing a means to understand how his creative mind works. He creates a song all-round, playing all instruments and arranging all parts, and these demos see him playing and recording all instruments, singing all lead and backing vocals and producing. Only “Edge Of Tomorrow” features the song's co-writer, fellow producer Simone Mularoni on guitars, bass and drums.

For those who know Alessandro only for being a producer, or singer, or keyboard player, this compilation will give a complete view of him as an artist.

“I’m a songwriter by nature. When I was a kid I wanted to become a musician to write my own songs. I was never attracted to just singing or playing, I wanted to find my own voice and sound through the songs I could write. I just sit down and write....I could write any day, any time. It’s a very natural process for me, like a catharsis. I see and hear sounds and stories everywhere....for me life and the world are endless inspirations. Obviously when I write for myself I’m telling my stories, singing my vision, but when I write for somebody else I try to stay true to the artist themselves. But always try to write songs that are a positive outlet. I am not the kind of songwriter with a bunch of ideas always "in the drawer" as to me creation is a moment. I sit, write, record, and complete things as they come to me. When Frontiers came up with the idea of a demo collection of my songs, I was on one hand humbled because I’m a band guy, a team person, but on the other hand, very enthusiastic as I could release some of these songs as they were in their original forms. All these demos have been written, arranged and recorded in a matter of very few hours. When I write I don’t sit on an idea. It’s like I hear the whole song finished in my head and I just channel that creative instinct out. In some places you will hear a one take vocal line, raw angles on guitars, myself playing guitar solos, but the purpose of this album is exactly this: to show the true, raw, real nature of these songs. Picture me, alone in my studio, surrounded by my instruments, a microphone and a notebook and then close your eyes and push play. You’ll be there with me, in that moment when out of a sound in my head, these songs became music.”

The tracklist is a travel through time on the alliance between an artist and his label.

1. The Road To Nowhere (Find Me)

2. Through (Gioeli-Castronovo)

3. Back On My Trail (Revolution Saints)

4. Set The World On Fire (Gioeli-Castronovo)

5. Edge Of Tomorrow (Sunstorm)

6. Fever Dreams (Hardline)

7. Take You Home (Hardline)

8. Turn Back Time (Revolution Saints)

9. Power Of Music (Place Vendome)

10. Who Did You Run To (Resurrection Kings)

11. Promised Land (Edge Of Forever)

12. Where Will We Go From Here (Hardline)

THE AGONIST Drops New Music Video For “In Vertigo”, Featuring Fan Footage

Latest Album, Orphans, Out Now via Rodeostar Records I Order HERE

September 2019 saw melodic death metal juggernaut, THE AGONIST, release their sixth studio album, Orphans, via Rodeostar Records.  With Orphans the band delivered their most extreme, melodic, and larger-than-life sounding record to date.

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, The Agonist chose to connect with their fans in a unique way – teaming up to create their brand new music video for the song “In Vertigo.”

Guitarist Danny Marino explains how the idea for the video came about:

“After sitting at home, toughing out this quarantine, the band started discussing how we can interact with our fans in different ways. We had this idea to ask our fans to send us footage of themselves rocking out to our song “In Vertigo”. We asked them to not be shy and be creative with their submissions, ‘cause there are many ways to be metal! We knew that people would be eager to participate because throughout the years of meet and greets, we have come to know just how dedicated our fans have become, and we were not disappointed in the least! You guys rule!”

The Agonist’s latest album, Orphans, is the sixth studio album by the extreme metal band from Quebec, Canada – a true monster feeding on melodic death metal, metalcore and rocking moments. There`s beautifully anthemic metalcore like “As One We Survive”, and on dramatic tracks such as “Mr. Cold”, Vicky Psarakis showcases her impressive range that covers everything from rock diva all the way to sick death metal growls. The result is a flickering, iridescent and varied masterpiece nestled in between sheer brutality and melodic frailty – simply incomparable!

Chris Taylor Brown is available for interviews and the record is available for review!

American rock band, TRAPT, has released their patriotic lyric video for single "Make It Out Alive". The band announced that they will release their new record titled SHADOW WORK on July 3rd via The Label Group/INgrooves. The first 3 singles "Make It Out Alive," "Tell Me How You Really Feel," and "Far Enough Away" will be instant gratification tracks along with a Jewel cover "Save Your Soul" which is only available when you pre-order the digital album.

“Make It Out Alive” was the last song written for our new album "Shadow Work" and I hope it inspires people to never give up. Times can get so tough and it can be easy to just want to let go of all the struggle. But I think the struggles we go through define us. Each crisis we go through, staring into an abyss of the unknown, makes us stronger when we come out the other side. I know that we will come out stronger, as a country and as a world, through the current crisis we find ourselves battling and every other crisis that comes our way in the future. We always do!" says Chris Taylor Brown.

“Crux” Follows Popular Track “Flare Of Defiance”

That Broke Top 30 At Active Rock Radio,

Named A Top 10 Metal Contraband Track

And Following Tours With Seether, Tremonti & Starset

Veio Recently Debuted Acoustic Versions Of Vitruvian Tracks

On Mayhem Unplugged Online Festival

Portland, Oregon’s alt metal/prog rockers Veio today release the explosive music video for the brand-new single “Crux.” It’s the second track to be released from their upcoming album Vitruvian, out on June 19 through Silent Majority Group and follows the band’s benchmark achievement of amassing more than 1 million streams on Spotify this spring.

Of the track, the band— bassist/vocalist Kris Lewis, vocalist/guitarist Cameron Byrd and drummer Brett Byrd—says: "The Crux focuses on the perseverance of oneself through the ebbs and flows of life. Finding who we really are as individual human beings is key to an intentional and happy existence. Perseverance through any situation and seeing it through to its finish always brings about some form of satisfaction and reward and brings peace and victory to the heart and soul."

Vitruvian is inspired by the name of a famous sketch from Leonardo da Vinci in 1490, and the band has conceptualized and translated the artist’s legendary “proportions of man” into a sonic interpretation on the album by giving each song a theme, emotion and proportion of its own.

Vitruvian was recorded over a year-and-a-half with Stephan Hawkes (Chelsea Grin, Attila, I Declare War) at Interlace Audio in Portland, with additional production by Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down) who has called Veio “the loudest band” she ever recorded. To her point, the cops were called as the band tracked drum parts.

The album’s first single, “Flare Of Defiance” was a hit at Active Rock Radio, entering into the Top 30, while also being named a Top 10 Metal Contraband Track

Veio debuted acoustic version of “Flare Of Defiance” and “Ascendancy” during the inaugural Mayhem Unplugged Festival, an online streaming event sponsored by Music Mayhem Magazine, on May 22. See the tracks here (at the 1:03:30 mark): https://www.facebook.com/MusicMayhemMagazine/videos/3828216583916704/

Vitruvian follows Veio’s 2017 debut album Infinite Light/Desperate Shadows and tours with the likes of Seether, Tremonti, Starset, The Veer Union, Skyharbor and RED.

Veio is part of the notable Silent Majority Group that has managed the careers of Creed, Saving Abel, Paramore, Candlebox, Sevendust, Tantric, Framing Hanley and Brother Sundance. SMG is a music company made up of Silent Majority Recordings, a global and fully functioning record label currently promoted and distributed by Warner Music Group/ADA, and JHMP, a full-service artist management company.

Here’s what the press and industry veterans have said about Veio:

"We get that comparing a band to the highly revered Tool is sacrilege to many, but these boys deserve to be at least in the conversation for their mature and dynamic sound creations."

Matt Simon, Ear to the Ground Music Blog

"With comparisons being made to Tool and Thrice, it's a lot to live up to. I see it as a nod to Veio's genuineness and quality control for the music they put out there. Every new Veio song I hear lives up to expectations."

Todd McCarty (GM Fearless / VP Sales at Sony/Century Media)

"Veio are that unique combination of progressive, metal and alternative that produces a memorable style that few bands are able to achieve."

Roie Avin (Prog Report)

Witch Taint Drop Video For "Changes (a Little Less Time for Satan)"

Download, stream or purchase the debut album Sons of Midwestern Darkness here: https://orcd.co/taintofthewitch Directed and filmed by Witch Taint Edited by P...

Debut Album 'Sons of Midwestern Darkness' out Now on Tee Pee Records

From the mean streets of Gary, Indiana by way of Oslo, Norway (or maybe the other way around - we’re not sure) comes WITCH TAINT, the most extremely extreme and Satanic Norwegian Black Metal band from Indiana ever (probably). Today the Taint releases their video for the track "Changes (a Little Less Time For Satan)." Watch the premiere courtesy of Metal Injection HERE.

"When we wrote 'Changes (a Little Less Time for Satan),' we knew we had written one of the greatest songs of all-time, but we had no idea we had also written an anthem for 2020 that will probably unite the whole world and stuff, which is awesome. Also, it's the only song we know of to successfully rhyme "brutal" with "garbage removal," so we're pumped about that too. Hail Satan," says co-founder and guitarist Lance the King of Black Metal.

Brought to fruition by the very unstable genius collective of Lance the King of Black Metal (rumored to actually be comedian and musician Dave Hill) and Matthias Backwards (rumored to actually be comedian and musician Phil Costello) Witch Taint's full-length debut Sons of Midwestern Darkness is out now on on Tee Pee Records.

Destined for longevity and worldwide success, Perth based quintet VOYAGER recently signed their first worldwide recording contract with Season of Mist following the release of their 6th opus Ghost Mile. Ghost Mile saw dedicated fans contribute to the band’s Pledge Music campaign in 2017, reaching the band’s goal in just a little over a week.

If there is one word to describe VOYAGER’s most current form, it is colourful. After years of evolution and amassing worldwide influences that mold the Perth quintet’s unique sound, VOYAGER have truly come into their own in recent years, crafting a path of success both on and off stage. The genre-transfiguring act blend new-romantic and 80’s infused vocals, keytar solos, technical yet melodic fretwork, groovy bass and bombastic drumming efforts. All of which make VOYAGER the pop/prog/power/rock/metal force that they are renowned as today.

Having toured the world a few times over and having shared the stage with names such as DEFTONES, LEPROUS, NIGHTWISH, COHEED and CAMBRIA, as well as headlining a number of festivals including opening the main stage at Download Festival Australia 2019, Voyager are back with a taste of what’s to come. The band’s versatile sound sees them complement a multiplicity of line-ups, and attract the love and attention of a wide demographic of fans!

In a bid to resonate with audiences all around the world, frontman Danny Estrin explains that "Colours in the Sun" is a musical depiction of a personal journey to an adopted country. GREEN CARNATION Shares "Sentinels" Music Video

Taken from the album 'Leaves of Yesteryear'. Release Date: May 8th, 2020. Order here: https://redirect.season-of-mist.com/green-carnation-leaves Subscribe to...

Norwegian progressive metal act GREEN CARNATION has shared a video clip for the song "Sentinels," which is taken from their latest album, 'Leaves of Yesteryear.' The clip was made by Costin Chioreanu and premiered during the band's album release livestream concert last Saturday.

It's still possible to watch the livestream here make donations to the band and the production team in support of the concert here. The band is working to find a new date for the physical concert.

'Leaves of Yesteryear' was released on on May 8 via Season of Mist and can be ordered HERE.

Norwegian prog/avantgarde metal act GREEN CARNATION announced their return to the international metal scene for the anniversary of their cult classic ‘Light of Day, Day of Darkness’ in 2016. After a successful comeback with festival appearances and special shows both in Europe and North America, the Norwegians are ready to release their first new record in 14 years.

GREEN CARNATION from Kristiansand, Norway, was founded as early as 1990. After founding member Tchort joined legends-to-be EMPEROR and continued in SATYRICON and EINHERJER, the band was laid to rest until their debut album ‘A Journey To The End Of The Night’ came out in 2000. Following a period with line-up changes, 2001 marked the release of the bands epic ‘Light of Day, Day of Darkness’.

With their albums ‘A Blessing in Disguise’ (2003) and ‘The Quiet Offspring’ (2005), GREEN CARNATION shifted towards a more rock orientated style, before they surprised everyone with the stripped-down record ‘Acoustic Verses’ in 2006. What followed in the same year is perhaps one of the most spectacular DVD recordings metal history. The band played a show in the mountains, under a 30-meter-high dam. Only a year later, GREEN CARNATION disbanded.

After playing their first reunion show in 2016 and a few more in the following years, the musicians decided it was time to write new material. At the end of 2019, GREEN CARNATION entered the studio with producer Endre Kirkesola (ABBATH, IN VAIN and SOLEFALD), to record ‘Leaves of Yesteryear’.

The album is partially a retrospect on the band’s career, as the progressive metal act pays homage to their past and to their heroes with the re-recording of the classic song ‘My Dark Reflections of Life and Death’ and the BLACK SABBATH-cover ‘Solitude’. With new songs such as ‘Leaves of Yesteryear’, the fans will get a taste of what is to come.

CARACH ANGREN Unveils Third New Single, "Operation Compass"

Symphonic metal masters of horror CARACH ANGREN have unveiled the third new single from their upcoming 6(66)th full-length, 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus!'

CARACH ANGREN comments: "'Operation Compass' will take you back to the sceneries of World War II in North Africa. British forces were instructed to use Dippel's bone oil to poison water wells in case of a retreat, hence the connection to the conceptual story on the album. Listen and watch the phenomenal lyric video, once again done by Tamara/ Aimed & Framed, as this battle turns into a gruesome fata morgana."

'Franckensteina Strataemontanus' is set to be released on June 26. Please note that the date has been changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The album can be pre-ordered HERE.

The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', CARACH ANGREN resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul ‘Conrad Dippel’; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel 'Frankenstein'.

CARACH ANGREN have extended all the sonic colours on their established palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens "Ardek" Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus ' simply shines.

CARACH ANGREN set out to tell ghost-stories with a set of paranormal cases recorded on the demo 'The Chase Vault Tragedy' (2004). This was soon followed by the official release of the 'Ethereal Veiled Existence' EP (2005) as a prelude to the haunting 'Lammendam' (2008). The Dutch had a clear vision of combining a dark baroque style of metal with horror based lyrical concepts. Their sophomore full-length 'Death Came through a Phantom Ship' (2010) witnessed the band setting sail to bring their eccentric and capturing live performances to audiences and festivals all over Europe. In the wake of third album 'Where the Corpses Sink Forever' (2012), the haunting had reached the Americas and started to spread rapidly. This record added a serious side to the lyrics of CARACH ANGREN. While firmly remaining in the horror genre, their tales revolve around the evils of war. This mature streak was taken a step further with the fourth full-length 'This Is No Fairytale', which is on the surface a darker variation of the "Hansel and Gretel" story from the Brothers Grimm collection, but also deals with the too real topic of child abuse in a dysfunctional family. With ‘Dance And Laugh Amongst The Rotten’ (2017), the band returned to pure story telling with episodes that are centred on a girl playing a little too long with her Ouija board.

Now, CARACH ANGREN return with the monster ‘Franckensteina Strataemontanus’, where the Dutch have pushed their unashamedly theatrical style to a new intense height. You do not believe us yet? Press play and have your soul transferred with this new elixir of life!

As one of the driving artistic forces of the 80’s, and one of its most notable “go-to” music photographers, Weiss’ resume reads like a who’s who of platinum 80’s Hard Rock, celebrated for his photographic work and creative direction on iconic covers and imaging elements for artists including Bon Jovi, Dokken, Twisted Sister, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Skid Row, Raven, W.A.S.P., and more. Mark’s work has endured through subsequent decades as well, including work for Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Osbourne, and exhibitions in the Hard Rock in Vegas and the GRAMMY Museum.

In the spirit of Weiss’ book, we present THE DECADE THAT ROCKED, featuring a studded-leather dais worthy of the Weissguy himself, including Zakk Wylde, Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Charlie Benante, Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Marc Storace (Krokus), Mark Slaughter, JJ French (Twisted Sister), Don Dokken, Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat), Roxy Petrucci (Vixen, Madam X), Dean Davidson (Britny Fox, Blackeyed Susan), PJ Farley (Trixter), Steve Whiteman (KIX), Jack Russell (Great White), Bruce Kulick (KISS), and many more.

With the first two events, “Oh Say Can You Stream” and “The Make-Up Test,” attracting over half a million viewers, across social media and streaming platforms, and TV and Radio simulcast, and a laundry list of some of the most notable rockers of the 80s (and today), THE DECADE THAT ROCKED is sure to live up to its name. The David Ellefson Youth Music Foundation (DEYMF)has also set up an eBay auction in connection with the event, with auctions running all week including signed Mark Weiss prints, a collection of Ellefson’s stage-used clothing and gear, and other donated items. You can find the listings at: https://www.ebay.com/usr/ellefsonyouthmusicfoundation

Says co-host Hazaert, “The first two OH SAY CAN YOU STREAM events were a phenomenal success, really beyond our wildest imaginations, and we were so thrilled with the outpouring of support and excitement that came with it. Since then, David and I have livestreamed several times a week, just, if anything, to try and keep people entertained, and aside from raising awareness, and funds, for the Ellefson Youth Music Foundation, and all of our work there, that’s really what these events are about. And I think, as far as entertainment goes, we are definitely going to outdo ourselves this time around.

“Of course our mission of spreading music and music education is on the agenda, as well as having options for people who want to donate and support the foundation, with some amazing prints and items generously donated by Mark, and some of our other friends, and a ton of David’s stage-worn clothing, and gear, that we will auction off to benefit the DEYMF. Not only is it another chance to spread the word of the foundation, but a celebration of our friend Mark, and his incredible book. There is something so over-the-top iconic about the 80’s, and all the amazing Rock and Metal music that came from it. Personally, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a decade that rocked harder. And we’re truly honored to have many of the guys who made it rock so hard joining us on Saturday.”

Ellefson adds, “We’re so appreciative for all the support from our friends on the first two OH SAY CAN YOU STREAM events, Alice Cooper, Dee Snider, our partners at Cisco, Jackson Guitars, Hartke, Samson, Shure, Peterson Tuners, of course the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition and so many more of our amazing friends who joined, and supported us. It’s always a great time when you can get that many friends together, all with a common goal and purpose. Not only has it given us an incredible platform to support and inspire kids around the World through music, but to bring people together in a time when I think we all so desperately need it.
“And we will continue that with THE DECADE THAT ROCKED, not only paying homage to Mark, his incomparable career, and the incredible book that it has now inspired, but to the decade that spawned not only Megadeth, but, really, all of our contemporaries. And it’s really an amazing event to be able to get so many of us together to talk about it.”

The David Ellefson Youth Music Foundation is an affiliate of the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition, a collaborative movement whose goal is ensuring all students in public schools across America have music education. Lee Whitmore, the Coalition’s executive director, shared, “Our Coalition of supporters of public music education numbers more than 70 organizations, and the David Ellefson Youth Music Foundation joined us early on. David’s enduring support for what music does in students’ lives is unwavering. Oh Say Can You Stream has an amazing lineup. It will be awe-inspiring, supporting kids, music education, and helping provide COVID-19 relief in our communities.”

Alternative rock band The Nixons have released their official music video for single “Ghost of an Angel.”

Production design and direction by Andy Brooks.

Alternative rock band The Nixons are back! Sonic Boom, the band’s first collection of new music in almost 20 years, released to all platforms via InterceptMusic.com.

The Nixons were founded in Oklahoma City, OK by singer/guitarist Zac Maloy, guitarist Jesse Davis and bassist Ricky Brooks in 1990. The group released their debut EP Six in 1992 on Dragon Street Records and replaced original drummer Tye Robison with John Humphrey, before releasing Halo in 1994 on Dallas-based Rainmaker RecordsFOMA, released in 1995 on MCA Records, included the radio hits "Happy Song""Wire", and “Sister” which was a top 5 alternative hit that also crossed over into the Hot 100 pop chart. The group capitalized on their success with big tours (about 300 shows a year for nearly a decade), including dates with KISS, Soul Asylum, Radiohead, and Toadies. They went on to release two more albums with MCA that yielded several rock radio hits including “Baton Rouge”. The band recently reunited the original line up for a series of sold out shows in the Midwest, culminating with an opening slot with Smashing Pumpkins. In 2019 the band released singles, “Favorite Lies” and “Crutch” as well as a video for the latter. The band wrapped up the year with a double bill tour with Sponge.

Zac Maloy is an acclaimed, award-winning songwriter and producer whose songs have been featured on numerous top-charting albums. Once The Nixons went on hiatus, Zac began writing and producing for other artists. After writing for and producing several rock projects, Zac signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV and decided to take writing more seriously. Sony tapped Zac as a writer in large part because of his unique ability, as a former artist, to relate to artists out there living the life Zac knew well. One of his first cuts after signing to Sony was "Used To" on Daughtry's eponymous first album, which has gone five-times platinum worldwide. This opened the door for Zac to score singles in a range of genres, including Carrie Underwood's # 1 single "Temporary Home," and Skillet's #1 single "American Noise."

In 2003, after extensive auditions, John was selected to fill the drum seat for Seether. John has been touring and recording with Seether for more than sixteen years now. The band, averaging more than 120 shows a year, has amassed twenty Top Five singles, three platinum records, and numerous gold albums.

New York’s Another Day's Armor is a band that could just as easily be at home in an arena as they would be in a rock club. The band started to create a buzz for themselves with their debut singles "Reflections" and "Simple As Sin” from their EP Phoenix, which was released January 2019. The band followed up with the successful song “Underneath” that is still climbing the Rock Radio charts.

Coming up in a time where very few bands put any emphasis into their image and persona, ADA pride themselves on standing out from the crowd both visually, and musically. With an image reminiscent of a time where rock was on top of the music world, Another Day’s Armor refuses to be just another “faceless” band, wanting their fans to feel connected to every member.

DIE KREATUR Releases New Lyric Video For Single, “Untergang”

DIE KREATUR Releases Debut Album, Panoptikum, via Napalm Records TODAY | Get Your Copy HERE!

2 HEADS - 2 VOICES - 2 PERSONALITIES - DIE KREATUR!

“You tell me ‘I love you’ - I hate what you love!

I’m your downfall”

Today, DIE KREATUR, the beloved child of Dero Goi (OOMPH!) and Chris Harms (LORD OF THE LOST), releases their debut album Panoptikum, accompanied by a lyric video for the new single “Untergang” (in English: Downfall)

In harsh anger, drifting riffs and impulsive drums lead to the band’s fastest and hardest single so far and illustrates the diversity and complexity of DIE KREATUR. The screaming voices of Dero Goi and Chris Harms swell to an accusing storm of interpersonal abysm.

The lyric video captures the spirit of the song perfectly. Immerse yourself in the trance of DIE KREATUR and see for yourself!

DIE KREATUR on the new single:

“The song “Untergang” (“Downfall”) describes the third and last phase of a falling apart interpersonal relationship. These three phases, analogues to life, can be divided in maturity, height and decay. In this final phase, the last desperate attempts of the manipulative, control-addicted, exploitative and abusive person become more and more visible, by trying to keep the interpersonal system or the dying relationship alive with all his might, even though the cracks in the foundation are already very recognizable. Thereby, the respective person is entitled to every conceivable means to avert the inevitable, the inter-personal "Downfall"...”

Panoptikum marks yet another milestone in the musical career of both artists, as well as in the Neue Deutsche Härte / Gothic Rock scene. The multi-layered album wraps itself in a dark ominous atmosphere and will surprise and move the listener, as well as make them contemplate their life and the world itself. The breathtaking symbiosis of the musical identities of Dero Goi and Chris Harms is revealed in an explosion of dark, bewitching songs.

The Deluxe Box contains the exclusive “Panoptikum 1920” CD, featuring recordings of all songs on the album in the style of the swinging Twenties, recorded only on an authentic piano, as well as two vocal microphones.

DIE KREATUR about Panoptikum:

"Panoptikum comes up with a dark arc of suspense that takes the listener into the gloomy, winding alleys of the 1920s, where they meet freaks and creatures of all kinds. However, true evil awaits them not in the hideous creatures on display at Panoptikum, but behind the stuffy façade of the normal, respectable citizen that delights in their gruesome appearance. Panoptikum is the ruthless reflection of a decadent, self-indulgent and sated society. Will we be able to bear our own cruel face?” - Dero Goi & Chris Harms

Come on a 'Night Drive' with Brother Firetribe – New Single and Video Out Now!

Official video for "Night Drive" from the 5th Brother Firetribe album. Listen "Night Drive" here: https://BFT.lnk.to/NightDrive NIGHT DRIVE Music by Brother ...

The stylish music video is an homage to 70's movies

with a rare Plymouth AAR 'Cuda from 1970

The Finnish hard rock band Brother Firetribe announces the opening of the summer season by dropping yet another single from their upcoming album 'Feel The Burn', out in September: the new song 'Night Drive' is perfect for a ride around town on a summer night and can now be found on all online streaming services.

"'Night Drive' has a certain kind of vibe that takes Brother Firetribe to a place where we've never been before. The song is very intense, almost cinematic, which is what we were after ever since the first demo. It’s about a guy driving off to the darkness every night, trying to shake off the ghost from the past. It builds up dramatically, serving as the perfect road trip song. Watch out for speeding tickets though, you’ve been warned!", singer Heino states.

The new single is of course at its finest when blasted loud in an automobile, but if there's no suitable car around, the stunning music video for 'Night Drive' will definitely do the trick. The nightly cruising on the video is carried out with a rare Plymouth AAR 'Cuda from 1970; the make is famous from 'The Fast and the Furious' movie series and there are only around 2000 of them in the world, and just 2 in Finland. The cinematic music video was directed by Ville Juurikkala.

"Shooting the video for the song was amazing. I had a chance to drive the most badass, coolest beast of a car all night and just enjoy the moment. It was obvious from the second I sat behind the wheel that the video will turn out great, the car basically took care of that by itself! The result is the best possible combination between audio and video mood-wise, both boosting each other perfectly. We built a bit of a mysterious feel for the flick and aim to continue the story later on", Heino hints.

Brother Firetribe's fifth album 'Feel The Burn' will be released on September 18th. The previous singles from the album are Rock In The City and Bring On The Rain.

Brother Firetribe are:

Pekka Heino – vocals

Roope Riihijärvi – guitar

Jason Flinck – bass

Tomppa Nikulainen – drums

Hannes Pirilä – keyboards

FELLAHIN FALL Premiere "Rover" Lyric Video on No Clean Singing

New Album 'Tar a-Kan' - OUT NOW

Brooklyn industrial rockers FELLAHIN FALL continue to promote the release of their debut LP, 'Tar a-Kan', which dropped last week. The band has premiered the official lyric video for the track "Rover" exclusively via No Clean Singing. Fans can check out the new video here.

Talking about the song, the band states:

"Like most people, I sit at night distilling anthropomorphic qualities upon unmanned rovers on the Red Planet. 'Rover' is a song about Curiosity’s journey on the dead world, and his need to break away from the Terran handlers who lord over him from a million miles away.”

Purchase 'Tar a-Kan' HERE

About FELLAHIN FALL

Founded by songwriter Nodar Khutortsov in the summer of 2018, Fellahin Fall was initially conceived of as a synth-centered darkwave project. Through many iterations of the music, the group would evolve into the the gothic-industrial band it is today. Patrick Reilly of Tengger Cavalry, drummer Eugene Bell and rhythm guitarist Raphael Pinsker of Fin’amor, and bassist Mark Morrill complete the lineup. Fellahin Fall's self-titled EP was released in November of 2019. The band's music is written from and influenced by the backdrop of South Brooklyn. Themes of dragons and Scandinavian forests are nowhere to be found here. Instead, contemporary urban thematics dominate the auditory landscape. The upcoming album 'Tar a-Kan' is narrated by and named after a man in the near future who is ravaged by the change of time, technology, and himself. Tar a-Kan struggles to come to terms with his ever evolving state and the crushing urbana that surrounds him.

Stabbing Westward Signs New Record Deal With COP International

Image 5-27-20 at 4.42 PM.JPG

Industrial Rockers Continue Reunion Momentum &

Return To The Studio With John Fryer,

Legendary Producer On The Band’s Seminal Early Releases

New Album Wasteland To Be Released In 2020

The Band’s First LP In Nearly 20 Years

Just months after releasing their first new material in 18 years, Stabbing Westward continues their newfound momentum, today announcing a recording deal with COP International to release the band’s upcoming fifth studio album Wasteland alongside at least one new single in 2020.

In January, the respected industrial rock band released the EP Dead And Gone with all new material, featuring the bold title track as well as the darkly atmospheric and dreamy “Crawl,” the riveting dancefloor fury of “Cold” plus remixes that showcases a revitalized band performing at the same heights of intensity that originally made them a success. Hear the new music here: https://stabbingwestward.bandcamp.com/album/dead-and-gone

The EP’s title coyly illustrates that Stabbing Westward is in fact neither dead nor gone, but rather ready to pick up where they left off after a string of mid-‘90s hits that dominated alternative radio and film soundtracks, including “Shame,” “Save Yourself,” “So Far Away” and “What Do I Have to Do?”, and resulted in two Gold records.

To recapture that early chemistry, the band—featuring original founding members Christopher Hall (vocals/guitar) and Walter Flakus (keyboards/programming) as well as longtime bandmate Carlton Bost (bass) and newest member Bobby Amaro (drums)—has again recruited their original producer, the legendary John Fryer for the upcoming Wastelandrelease. It will be the first LP from the band since 2001. Fryer, whose production credits include Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, 4AD, Cocteau Twins and Love and Rockets, was behind the boards on Stabbing Westward’s seminal early albums Ungod (1994) and Wither Blister Burn + Peel (1996).

"It's grand to be working with Stabbing Westward again,” says Fryer. “The first two albums we made together were some of my finest work as a producer."

Stabbing Westward frontman Christopher Hall adds, “I was so excited to have the opportunity to go back to the very roots of Stabbing Westward by working with John again. John really helped us develop our sound on our first album and then helped us take a huge leap forward with our second album. Even though this is our fifth full length, after such a long break it feels like a new beginning and it's very cool to have John at the helm once again.”

Fellow founding member Walter Flakus adds, “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with John again. The creativity we found on the first two records continues to drive where we want to take Stabbing Westward in the years to come. I’m so happy to rekindle that flame.”

Christian Petke, founder of COP International, also says, “We wanted to put the dream team of Stabbing Westward and John Fryer back together again.” Of the collaboration with the band, he adds, “First and foremost we are fans. We truly appreciate the talent and skill of the musicians that entrust us with their creations and we will do whatever it takes to help them to create their best work on their own terms. What is of utmost importance to us is to give our artists a boutique experience. We want to create a partnership that is probably closer to a management deal than a traditional record contract.”

More information will be released soon regarding Wasteland and a new single from the album, as well as other developments Stabbing Westward has in store for 2020 and beyond.

About Stabbing Westward

Blending the scathing electronics of underground industrial/rock with the emotive melodies of goth and a decidedly radio-friendly sensibility, Stabbing Westward rose to great heights in the mid-‘90s alternative boom. Formed in 1986 by Walter Flakus and Christopher Hall, the band went from underground cult sensation to the heights of critical and commercial success thanks to such songs as “Shame,” “Save Yourself,” “So Far Away” and “What Do I Have to Do?”. To this day, these songs remain anthems of heartache, dejection, rage, betrayal and depression. With two Gold albums and numerous hit singles, Stabbing Westward fell from grace with the 2001 self-titled album amid personal and professional turmoil, disbanding the following year and leaving a void in modern music that was somewhat filled by Hall’s later work in The Dreaming. However, it was the release of that band’s Rise Again in 2015 that the seeds were sown for a reunion. That album saw Flakus once again making music with Hall, with Stabbing Westward guitarist Mark Eliopulos joining The Dreaming onstage in Chicago for a set of past hits. In 2019, Hall and Flakus came together again to release the Dead And Gone EP, the first new Stabbing Westward material in 18 years. Written and produced by Flakus and Hall over the course of three years, and recorded in multiple states and time zones, these new songs capture the very essence of the Stabbing Westward sound. Adding longtime bandmate Carlton Bost (Orgy, Deadsy, The Dreaming) and new drummer Bobby Amaro (Orgy) to the official lineup, the band has also once again recruited the talent of producer John Fryer—instrumental on early albums “Ungod” and “Wither Blister Burn + Peel”—for a new album, to be released in 2020 through a new partnership with COP International.
