THE ARTERY FOUNDATION is thrilled to welcome California's gold-selling rock band STRATA to the roster. The band, which had a massive hit with "Piece by Piece," which earned its RIAA certification after being featured on the 2004 The Punisher soundtrack and an appearance on Madden NFL 2005. In the '00s, Strata built a devoted following on soaring melodies, cinematic heaviness, and emotionally unfiltered songwriting, a sound that blurred the lines between post-hardcore intensity and atmospheric modern rock long before genre boundaries began dissolving across the scene.
Today, the band shares its first single for the label with "SOAR." The track, which was produced by Eric Ron (Papa Roach, Bad Omens), does exactly that, thanks to rising and falling tension and angular guitar work. Listen below.
This isn't a nostalgia play. It's forward progress at its finest.
"'Soar' captures the collapse of someone who once felt untouchable, tracing that fall from clarity and confidence into doubt, temptation, and self-betrayal," says singer Eric Victorino. "It's a dark spiral where faith glitches, identity fractures, and the pull of the algorithm becomes impossible to ignore. Equal parts confession and confrontation, the song wrestles with the most human truth of all: sometimes the person you trust the least is yourself."
Expect more from Strata sooner rather than later!
Fronted by vocalist Eric Victorino, whose unmistakable voice moves effortlessly from fragile intimacy to explosive power, Strata carved out a reputation for music that feels both deeply personal and undeniably massive. Now, decades into their career, Strata aren't revisiting who they were; they're redefining who they are. The band has re-emerged sharper and more focused, channeling years of life experience into a sound that is stronger, faster, heavier, and more energetic than ever.
Rather than chasing trends, Strata has leaned into evolution, expanding their sonic palette while staying rooted in the emotional authenticity that first defined them. The result is a band operating at full power: seasoned musicians with nothing to prove and everything to say.
Strata isn't a reunion story. It’s a continuation. Louder, bolder, and very much alive.
