The first new song since “Falling Awake,” "Dirty" is available only through front-woman EMILY LAZAR'sstunning new NFT Media Box (NMB) Monsters Rehab collaboration, September's Monsters.

"I chose to drop our new music video for our single, 'Dirty,' exclusively on the NFT platform called Zora. This continues the narrative I am telling of NFT's in the music space. One I have been crafting since March of last year when I became the first female metal/ rock musician to mint and sell an NFT on the blockchain. September's Monsters, a generative collab between September Mourning and The Monster Rehab, are 1000 Human / Reaper Hybrid Warriors fighting for the souls of the living against the dark forces of the dead.

In addition to the high-resolution artwork, each Monster NFT grants access to benefits found on the September's Monsters website and Discord--the first of which is a download of the Graphic Novel published through Image Comics, its soundtrack, new music from the band.

September Mourning is a human-reaper hybrid, who feels the need to give good human souls a second chance at life, sparking an epic battle between the living and the dead.

Fate, the world's creator and ruler of Mortem (the land of the dead), has sent it's reapers after September to stop her. Stitch is one of those reapers. He is also the master of space and time, which he uses to fight her by fragmenting the existing timeline into 6000 separate timelines... each with it's own unique looking September. September wakes up in each timeline within the Monster Rehab with the monsters looking down at her, angry and hungry for her soul. Fate has taken all of theirs and told them to destroy her.

The Details

SEPTEMBER'S MONSTERS is a collaboration between The Monster Rehab and September Mourning. These worlds combine in a 6000 piece NFT drop. The drop itself is historical as it is not only the first female metal/ rock musician to drop a generative NFT project but it is cross-chain which means it is available half on the Ethereum Network and half on the Binance network. September Monsters is also using their NFT platform to distribute new music from the band. The holders of this NFT will be the only ones to download the new single "Dirty" from the band as it will be exclusively available through this NFT for the time being.

On May 2nd, Emily Lazar of September Mourning (the first female rock/ metal front person to create and sell an NFT ), Jesse Meester(Actor, Entrepreneur with 1.8 million social media followers) and Griffin Carlson (Digital and NFT artist under the moniker romanticappeal) will be revealing their combined efforts to create a unique NFT collection, “Thinking of You”. Hard Rock, Graphic Novel Art Project SEPTEMBER MOURNING storms into 2021 with a visually stunning music video for their newest single, "Kill This Love." Originally premiered on Metal Injection the video was created by Rich Juzwick and is the follow up to "Wake The Dead" in preparation for the band's upcoming full length release, Volume IV; "Kill This Love" is their second single partnered with Legend Recordings & INgrooves.

"’Kill this Love’ is the musical adaptation of a specific feeling.... the heaviness one feels in their heart when it becomes the obvious prey of someone or something they cannot escape from.

The music alternates back and forth from heavy to sparse in an almost agitated way as to depict the emotional rollercoaster of the lyric.

As pertaining to the comic, ‘Kill this Love’ depicts the inner struggle of the protagonist September as she looks back on her battle with Fate and the strange pull he seems to have over her. She struggles internally with her desire to fight for what she loves and the pain it brings her.” - SEPTEMBER

The band of Reapers that help bring the story to life on stage are Rich Juzwick (former guitarist for Gemini Syndrome), Kyle Mayer (former drummer for 10 Years) and Aaron Hoover (former guitarist for Sea of Treachery). Hard Rock Graphic Novel Art Project SEPTEMBER MOURNING has released the official music video for their newest single, "Wake the Dead." With the video created by Riven (guitarist), the Sahaj Ticotin (Ra, Starset) produced single is the band's first release partnered with Legend Recordings and INgrooves.

"'Wake the Dead' is an anthemic track that dispels the nature of the herd mentality in our society today. The song is written from the point of view of our main character in the graphic novel, September, as she observes the world of the living in which she consistently takes souls from. The track urges the listener to take control of their own thoughts about the world around them and make their own decisions instead of relying on choices skewed heavily by the propaganda that one is constantly bombarded with.
