Even though they are originally from disparate parts of the country, Charlotte, NC based Alt Rockers Falling Through April have come together to form a cohesive unit in a city that is rich in music history and has a thriving independent rock scene. Their energy is abundant in their live shows and in the music.

Falling Through April released first single and video “Desperate Measures” in September of 2017 and have gained significant visibility: Google Play Music’s Modern Rock radio channel and iDobi radiowere early supporters and are playing the song. The video premiered on Alternative Press and debuted @ #13 on the Youtube Alternative Hotlist playlist. The video is featured on the Footlocker In-Store network in 1,835 stores in 23 countries as well as several other major brand retail outlets. “Desperate Measures” is playing in over 3800 Health Clubs worldwide, and has been added to syndicated shows like MusicMix USA and Sidewalks TV, among others.

The band’s founders (Jim Siani, Dave Piontek, Dan Candia) have weathered the full gamut of hurdles as a startup since forming in 2011, ranging from exploding transmissions and ghosting vocalists to nearby celebratory gun fire landing Taylor in the hospital. When charismatic front woman Mikaela Salazar stepped into their lives in 2016, the road blocks were removed, and everyone found something to be excited about.

The 4 founders found each other while playing in different bands that were a part of the Charlotte indie rock scene. The band members came to music naturally, as they all had musicians in their family: Dan came from a long line of international musicians, and his dad always played guitar when he was growing up. Dave started in music early, and in his early teens he became enamored of the Electric Bass and that became his instrument of choice. Jim knew by the age of 13 that he wanted to be a professional musician, inspired by acts like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and his favorite band Weezer. Taylor grew up watching his Dad play drums, so you could say they are in his family DNA. Mikaela grew up in a house that was never silent, and the desire to be involved in music was second nature. She was inspired to become a singer by strong female musical role models like Alanis Morissette and Gwen Stefani.

The band has 2 previous independent releases: The Take Flightalbum in 2012 and the Risks and Rewards Ep in 2015.

In early 2017 FTA packed up and drove to Nashville, TN for a several month’s long recording binge with producer and friend Jon King(Augustana, Darling Parade). The result is their new album Zodiac, a powerful alt-rock collection that melds influences ranging from Incubus to Halsey.

The band has amassed a significant touring resume, having opened for Theory of a Deadman^, The Pretty Reckless ^, Pop Evil , Adelitas Way * ^, Breaking Benjamin ^ and more. They have also performed at major festivals including the Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, Florida Music Festival, Sonorous Music Festival, Dewey Beach Music Conference and Celebrate Fairfax.

▪– United States ^ – International

Their touring has garnered them endorsements from PRS and Reverend Guitars, among others.

FTA’s goal is to have their music reach as many people as possible around the world and for their music to inspire and encourage listeners.

BLACK WATER RISING Release New Single + Lyric Video for "Paralyzed"

New York-based stoner rock titans BLACK WATER RISING are back and stronger than ever! The group has released a new single + lyric video for the track "Paralyzed". The new offering is the first single from BWR's forthcoming album, set to be released early next year.

"Paralyzed" is also the first track to feature original member John Fattoruso on guitar since the band's debut album. John rejoined the band in late 2019, but then all hell would break loose, forcing an unexpected hiatus. The band's new material promises to be more melodic while remaining just as riff-heavy as BWR’s previous albums, riddled with hooks and catchy choruses to pull you in, all while retaining a musical identity of its own. Watch the video below.

About BLACK WATER RISING:

Black Water Rising is a collection of soul-baring, angst-ridden, riff-heavy material that is proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock songwriting. Giant guitar-driven monster riffs served up on a bed of crushing grooves with soaring melodic vocals and big hooks. Basically, NO FRILLS RIFF ROCK! Lyrically the message is socially and politically driven by the dark times we live in. With darkness seemingly growing by the day, BLACK WATER RISING is a name that fits this band like a glove. The philosophy of BWR is simple, they are not looking to reinvent the wheel, they just want to give it a much needed alignment in these musically stale times.

The band's discography includes the self-titled Black Water Rising (2010), an album that achieved the number one slot on Amazon's Hard rock chart upon release, Pissed and Driven (2013), an honest, barebones rock album that climbed rock/metal charts, and their third full album, Electrified (2017), with its first single charting on Billboard's Indicator Chart.

BLACK WATER RISING Is:

Rob Traynor - Vocals/Guitar

Mike Meselsohn - Drums

Oddie McLaughlin - Bass

John Fattoruso - Guitar

3TEETH Return With “Paralyze” Featuring Ho99o9 & Co-Produced By DOOM Composer Mick Gordon Ahead Of Forthcoming Album; Supporting Cradle Of Filth This Fall

Industrial Insurgents 3TEETH Return

With Scathing New Track + Video For “Paralyze”

Featuring Ho99o9 & Co-Produced By

DOOM Composer Mick Gordon, Also Currently Working With The Band On Forthcoming Album

3TEETH Will Dominate The Stage Again This Fall

As Direct Support For

Cradle Of Filth’s North American Tour +

An Anticipated Set At Welcome To Rockville Festival.

Two years after their gripping album Metawar was unleashed, setting off all kinds of alarms about the self-destructive path humanity has been treading on, industrial act 3TEETH makes their mighty return with the brand-new track and vicious video for “Paralyze.” The unruly new song pits the band alongside track collaborators Ho99o9 for a gritty electro-industrial metal mashup; it was also co-produced by DOOM composer Mick Gordon for an extra layer of techno-apocalyptic sheen.

Like all of their previous standout material, 3TEETH isn’t here to mince words on the newest release, with frontman and creative lead Alexis Mincolla saying the track was inspired by seeing people paralyzed by the hysteria of the current socio-political climate.

“Everyone seems to be heading into a visionless future and unable to do anything about it. The paralysis seems to be contagious as we all know things have to change, but it seems easier to imagine the end of the world then it does actual change at this point,” he says. “The media-induced tribalism keeps us in a gridlocked state of cultural schizophrenia as we continue to be trapped in the shadow of our progress. This song was aiming to reflect the frustrations and the horror that we all experience in our current state of waking sleep paralysis these days.”

3TEETH began working on “Paralyze” a year ago in the deserted quiet of Joshua Tree where they holed up to get away from the palpable anxiety of their hometown of Los Angeles to begin work on their fourth studio album that will be released via Century Media Records. The material is currently being wrapped up with the accomplished sound designer Mick Gordon (best known for his work on the gaming phenomenon DOOM) co-producing the tracks, bringing in another dimension to the band’s unmistakable sound.

Says Gordon, “3TEETH are one of my favorite acts. They proudly fly their own unique flag. The new album charts course through the next stage of our vanity-led evolution as a species, and by that I mean the album is a world unto itself. I’m just stoked that these guys have allowed me along for the ride.”

Paralyze” is the first taste of the new, to-be-announced record. To amplify its message, 3TEETH teamed up with explosive punk-industrial-rap duo Ho99o9, a visionary act in their own right that they originally toured with in 2018. Of the track, Ho99o9 says, “This is only the beginning of an incendiary snowball effect. The nuke is yet to come.”

3TEETH will also make their anticipated return to the stage this fall, an artistic arena where they dominate with a dizzying spectacle that mixes futuristic, neo-cyber design with a voluminous sound that is nothing short of a sensory trip. The display of force has logged them tours with the likes of Rammstein, Tool, Ministry, HIM, Danzig and Ghostemane. Currently, they are slated to provide direct support for Cradle Of Filth on their ‘Lustmord and Tourgasm’ North American Tour beginning October 1, followed by an appearance at Welcome To Rockville Festival in Daytona Beach, Florida on November 13.
