RAZORWIRE HALO Take On NINE INCH NAILS Classic with Haunting New Cover Of "SOMETHING I CAN NEVER HAVE"

"When approaching the cover of "Something I Can Never Have", our goal was not to reinvent the song, but to honor what made it special while incorporating elements of our own musical identity. We stayed closely aligned with the original piano and synth-driven foundation, preserving the mood and intimacy that define the track. At the same time, we introduced our own stylistic touches through the performance, production and overall sonic texture to create a version that feels both familiar and uniquely ours."

The recording process focused heavily on atmosphere and emotion. We wanted every piano note, synth layer, and vocal phrase to contribute to the emotional journey of the song. Rather than overcomplicating the arrangement, we concentrated on capturing the sense of longing and reflection that has made the original such a timeless piece. Finding the right balance between staying faithful to the source material and expressing our own artistic voice was the most important part of the process.

Covering "Something I Can Never Have" was an opportunity to pay tribute to a song that has inspired us for years, and we are excited to share our interpretation with listeners who have loved the original as much as we do.

RAZORWIRE HALO has never been a band afraid to embrace darkness, vulnerability, and raw emotion. Now, the band is paying tribute to one of the most influential acts in alternative and industrial rock history with their powerful new rendition of the Nine Inch Nails classic, "Something I Can Never Have."

Originally appearing on Nine Inch Nails' groundbreaking 1989 debut Pretty Hate Machine, the song has long stood as one of Trent Reznor's most emotionally devastating compositions. Rather than simply recreate the original, RAZORWIRE HALOdigs deep into the song's haunting core, delivering a version that is both respectful of its legacy and unmistakably their own.

From the opening notes, RAZORWIRE HALO transforms the familiar track into a cinematic journey of heartbreak, obsession, loss, and longing. Atmospheric textures, crushing dynamics, and emotionally charged vocals breathe new life into a song that has resonated with listeners for generations.

ETERNAL FREQUENCY Release Official Music Video for Cover of NINE INCH NAILS Hit Single, "Head Like a Hole"!

"Head Like Hole" Debuted on SPACE UNTRAVEL!!

Harrisburg, PA based Heavy Rock band ETERNAL FREQUENCY has released the official music video for their cover of the 1990 NINE INCH NAILS critical and fan favorite Industrial Rock classic, "Head Like a Hole." A faithful rendition of the 1990 hit single, the band balances the inherent rage of the original with front-woman Emelle Elizabeth's soaring vocals, resulting in a refreshed anti-anthem that continues to ring relevant in today's society.

"We've always known we had a pretty singer, now our singer has become the Pretty Hate Machine (haha). In all seriousness, it definitely takes some balls to cover a Nine Inch Nails song, but we think that we did it justice and we hope our fans agree. We try to pride ourselves on creating sonically stimulating material with layers and depth. That is exactly why it felt necessary to showcase our interpretation of some of Trent Reznor's finest work to date."" - ETERNAL FREQUENCY
