ANTHRAX's "Inside Out" Re-Imagined By MAMMOTHOR For Its 25th Anniversary

Boston's heavy rock powerhouse, Mammothor, proudly unveils their latest single, "Inside Out," from their eagerly anticipated album, Lies By Omission. This re-imagined rendition, originally by the thrash icons, Anthrax, marks a compelling homage to one of the band's pivotal influences.

"'Inside Out' emerged as a natural choice, as a cover for us on the new album,"shares vocalist Travis Lowell, acknowledging the track's dynamic vocal hooks and thunderous rhythms. "The response from our live performances validated our decision. I even had the honor of connecting with John Bush, the original singer, who graciously extended his best wishes."

Reminiscent of Anthrax's original video 25 years ago, which cleverly parodied a Twilight Zone episode, Mammothor pays tribute not only to the song but also the beloved TV series, and in turn, Anthrax's video. Collaborating with the visionary lens of Humble Hero's Ben Proulx, Mammothor crafted an epic rock video that is destined to be timeless.

Fresh from the success of their latest album, Lies By Omission, Mammothor has numerous reasons to rejoice. With an astounding 3.1 million streams on Spotifyand an incredible 4-week reign at the #1 position on the regional charts, the band stands as a rising force in the independent rock and metal scene.

"Inside Out" officially drops on Friday, December 15, on all major streaming platforms. An exclusive premiere of their music video can be found below.

Mammothor is an American hard rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2012, Mammothor features vocalist Travis Lowell, the dual guitar attack of Josh Johnson and Alex Muss, bassist Lori Gangi, and drummer Euz Azevedo. The eclectic background of each member helps Mammothor deliver the essence of rock, combining thunderous heavy metal riffs with the versatility of 90’s alternative.

Mammothor has progressed with each album release, developing their sound throughout the years, and consistently improving both their live performance and their album production. Their 2014 debut album, Tyrannicide, showcased the band’s heavy blues rock influences, and its follow-up, 2017's Devotion Lost, featured more progressive and alt-metal leanings. The band returned in 2021 with The Ecstasy of Silence...The Agony of Dreams, which proved to be the band's most streamlined effort to date with the enlistment of Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God) and Will Holland (Fallout Boy) for recording/co-production and Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Queensryche, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) for mixing and mastering. Mammothor has once again teamed with Billingslea, Holland, and Zeuss for their latest album, Lies By Omission, with post-production handled by Jake Adkins and Connor Riley (Wake Up Hate).

Mammothor has toured with and supported many national acts including the likes of Saliva and Hed(PE), in addition to opening massive shows for legends including Megadeth, Godsmack, and Korn.

THE RED STATE BLUES

Little piggy, squeal / When we cop a feel / You don't contest or don't mess with the man

With the gun in his hand

Wrists bound / Sewn mouth / You won't make a sound

Oh no / You can not go / We've got plans for you / As you're singing the red state blues

If you've got something to say then spit it out, 'cause you're up next in the scramble. There's no

one to hear you, no one to spare you, so let's scream together, say 'AH!'

Little piggy bitch /It's time to scratch that itch / You might have lost the map

But you followed the laughter/ And got what you were after

Hog tied /Wide-eyed/ In the countryside

Sweet breeze /Be free

You'd better run, piggy / Run piggy, run / You'd better run, boy

THE RED STATE BLUES premieres June 23 rd , 2023 on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora,

Boston Heavy Rockers MAMMOTHOR Drop a Brand New Single “BURY THE MOTIVE"

Mammothor has not let the pandemic stop their musical output. With a busy show schedule
taking shape for 2022, including shows with Drowning Pool, Ill Nino, Hed(PE) and Sumo Cyco, the band has been busy producing new material and playing around the Northeast. Mammothorentered The Halo Studio in Windham, ME to record with Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God) and Chillhouse Studios in Charlestown, MA with Will Holland (Fall Out Boy) for recording and tapped Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), at Planet Z in Hadley, MA to mix and master.

"BURY THE MOTIVE" is the eighth track of their latest album. Written by Josh Johnson (guitar) and Travis Lowell (vocals), the single launched worldwide on May 27th, on all major streaming platforms, and now, the music video is ready for the fans. The song reflects on the state of gun violence and school shootings that has been plaguing our society for decades now. In an ironic twist, on the day of the single release, another school shooting took place. The video reflects on the issue by way of an android who, after becoming sentient, witnesses the senseless violence that humans commit on one another, rejecting the notion that “being human” is anything to be proud of, and rebelling against its maker.

BURY THE MOTIVE

We lost the war today / The headline's the same /She'll never make the grade / Bullet in her brain /

Forgotten, buried in an early grave / A face she couldn't recognize /A stranger's hand would take

her life

Bury the motive / Let no one out alive / Unhinged, and devoted to the marks within the sights

Our fingers point with blame / Though we can't explain / He tried to save the day

Now he's gone away / Just a number, left without a name / A face he couldn't recognize /A

stranger's hand would take his life

Liars, our leaders leave the people blind / Ready, armed, and focused on exploiting the loss of life

Clenched fists / Closed eyes / Coloring an open canvas /Mind blank, mesmerized / Bodies fall /

Hear their cries/ One more trip around the sun /Farewell, so long, goodbye / We, The People, blind

Boston heavy rockers MAMMOTHOR drop a brand new single “M.O.A.B.” fresh off
their latest full-length album, The Silence of Ecstasy... The Agony of Dreams, available now in CD format through retailer Bull Moose and later, on all major streaming platforms.

Mammothor has not let the pandemic stop their musical output. With a busy show schedule taking shape for 2022, including their first shows of the year with Drowning Pool, Ill Nino and Hed(PE) in March, the band spent most of 2020/2021 producing new material. Mammothor entered The Halo Studio in Windham, ME to record with Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God) and Chillhouse Studiosin Charlestown, MA with Will Holland (Fall Out Boy) for tracking and tapped Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), at Planet Z in Hadley, MA to mix and master.

'M.O.A.B." is the opening track of the new album. Written by Josh Johnson (guitar) and Travis Lowell (vocals), the single will be launched worldwide on March 4th, on all major streaming platforms. In an ironic twist, this song reflects on the state of war and nuclear annihilation, what then seemed hypothetical, now draws closer to reality. “M.O.A.B.” is a military term for “Mother Of All Bombs,” an army ordinance with incredible destructive power.

Travis comments, “This tune is reminiscent of the old school speed metal, the classic stuff, and draws inspiration from J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb, where we feature his voice on several segments of the song.”

M.O.A.B.

Smoke trails from weapons streak blue sky / Deep breath, 'cause now you're gonna die

Fire burns hospitals and schools / No peace, 'cause here there ain't no rules

Warhorse is storming at the gate / Warhead, from death you can't escape /Countdown, the Doomsday Clock strikes midnight / Holocaust is gonna take your life

The cloud is towering / Leaders, left cowering /For good men, Hell awaits / This is judgment day

Gone in a wave / Caught in a blaze of light / M.O.A.B. / No hope to save your life

We knew the world would not be the same /A few people laughed / A few people cried

Most people were silent

We don't know why they tell their lies

Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds / I suppose we all thought that, one way or another...

The embers rise / The final scene / No chance to survive / M.O.A.B. / No hope to save your life

MAMMOTHOR Release New Single "TAKE THE WORLD"

"TAKE THE WORLD" releases October 1st, 2021 on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, and wherever digital music is sold or streamed.

Boston heavy rockers MAMMOTHOR drop a brand new single “TAKE THE WORLD” fresh off
their latest full-length album, The Silence of Ecstasy... The Agony of Dreams, available now in CD format through retailer Bull Moose and later, on all major streaming platforms.

Mammothor spent most of last year recording and writing new material, entering The Halo Studioin Windham, ME to record with Kevin Billingslea (Lamb of God) and Chillhouse Studios in Charlestown, MA with Will Holland (Fall Out Boy). The new material has been mixed and mastered by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), at Planet Z in Hadley, MA.

"TAKE THE WORLD" is the second single to be launched worldwide with new members Euz Azevedo (from Boston’s own Das Muerte) on drums, and Alex Muss (from Minsk-based Slaves of Insanity) on guitar alongside members Josh Johnson (guitar), Lori Gangi (bass) and Travis Lowell (vocals).

Written by Johnson and Lowell, "TAKE THE WORLD" is the fifth song in the album, and dives into the troublesome, but often addictive, world of toxic relationships. The song explores
sociopathic behaviors that are emotionally and, not infrequently, physically damaging,
surrounded by insecurity, self-centeredness, dominance and control. It is a topic all too familiar
with a lot of people, and it often feels as if your “world” has been “taken” by someone, requiring
an incredible amount of support and strength to overcome it.

Mammothor has toured and opened for heavy hitters MEGADETH, KORN, THREE DAYS GRACE, HED(PE), SALIVA, BUCKCHERRY, as well as 600,000+ streams on YouTube and current average of 34,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Mammothor is Sponsored by:

Ernie Ball, Wornstar Clothing, Backlund Guitars (Through Eastwood Guitars), Barlow Guitars, InTune Picks, SOMO Sound, SJC Drums, Xcel Drumsticks, Too Twisted Stage Art, Headrush FX, Deviant Clothing, Dirtbag Clothing
