About DECAPITATED
Across eight studio albums, DECAPITATED grew from the adolescent dream of teenagers from a small Central European town to one of the leaders of the metal genre. Each successive album further expands the band’s sound with genre-bending authenticity and integrity. As Metal Injection rightfully observed, “any self-respecting death metalhead knows the name well.” Like a rose in the devil’s garden, the DECAPITATED story builds triumph from tragedy. The gleeful grotesquery of extreme metal imagery and riff-tastic bludgeoning beckons listeners to uncover broader truths.

Their latest studio album Cancer Culture was released in 2022, with instantly recognisable devastation and deceptively sinister hooks abound. Newly minted DECAPITATED anthems like ‘Last Supper’, ‘Hello Death’, ‘Just A Cigarette’, ‘No Cure’, ‘Iconoclast’, and ‘Cancer Culture’ shimmer with sonically sharp production and unrelenting bombast. There’s also a newly increased emphasis on melody, even venturing into darkly romantic territory. Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka (guitar), Rafał "Rasta" Piotrowski (vocals), Paweł Pasek (bass), and James Stewart (drums) are at the top of their game, delivering the goods at peak performance. Jinjer vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk and Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn make impressive guest appearances. Flynn contributes a hauntingly beautiful vocal to the Cancer Culture track ‘Iconoclast’, with  Shmayluk, a formidable screamer, going the clean vocal route on track ‘Hello Death.

Decapitated are:
Waclaw ‘Vogg’ Kieltyka - guitars
Rafał "Rasta" Piotrowski - vocals
James Stewart - drums
Paweł Pasek - bass (live)

About SEPTICFLESH
SEPTICFLESH was formed as 'Septic Flesh' in Greece in the early '90s by Spyridon Antoniou (a.k.a. Seth Siro Anton): vocals/bass, Christos Antoniou: guitar and Sotirios Vagenas (a.k.a. Sotiris Anunnaki V.): guitar/ clean vocals. A debut EP was released in 1991, entitled Temple of The Lost Race. Their first full-length album Mystic Places of Dawn was released in 1994, followed by EΣΟΠΤΡΟΝ that was released in 1995. With the release of Ophidian Wheel in 1997, a female soprano vocalist (Natalie Rassoulis) was introduced, as the band moved towards a more symphonic style. A Fallen Temple (1998) continued in the same musical direction. In 1999, Revolution DNA was released, followed by Sumerian Daemons in 2003, both albums produced by Fredrik Nordström (At The Gates, Opeth, In Flames). Although the band's popularity was growing, the band members decided to disband, in order to focus on other personal projects and goals. But that was not the end of the story... After a reunion, the band returned with the album Communion in 2008, again with Fredrik Nordström at the helm of production. From that point onwards, the symphonic element (composed by Christos Antoniou, who has a Master's Degree in Concert Music) was fully implemented in the structure of the songs, with the collaboration of Filmharmonic Orchestra of Prague. The Great Mass (2011) followed with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) producing, Titan (2014) with Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head) as producer and Codex Omega (2017) which started the group’s collaboration with Jens Bogren that continues to the very day. In 2020, the recording of the epic and fully orchestrated Live in Mexico entitled Infernus Sinfonica MMXIX was released on CD/LP/DVD/Blu-Ray.

SEPTICFLESH is:
Seth Siro Anton | Vocals, Bass
Christos Antoniou | Guitar, Orchestra
Sotiris Anunnaki V | Clean Vocals, Guitar, 12 String Guitar
Psychon | Guitar

About KATAKLYSM
For almost three decades, KATAKLYSM has delivered unapologetic waves of powerful sound across the entire globe.

The band's fifteenth full-length studio album, Goliath, was released last August. The record was recorded at JFD Studios in Dallas, TX and Studio City, CA as well as The Cabin in Orlando, FL by J-F Dagenais, who also produced and engineered the album. For the mixing and mastering, the band returned to Chris Clancy with assistance from Colin Richardson. The cover artwork required an image that captured the iconic battle of David versus Goliath theme that is echoed throughout the album while matching the power of the music. The band enlisted renowned Berlin metal illustrator Eliran Kantor (TESTAMENT, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE) to create the artwork which took the KATAKLYSM look and gave it a macabre filter that compliments the brooding sense of uneasiness that was felt during the writing and recording of the album.

KATAKLYSMis:
Maurizio Iacono | Vocals
Jean-François Dagenais| Guitar
Stephane Barbe| Bass
James Payne| Drums

DECAPITATED - Cancer Culture Out Now!

Today, the band is proud to release their 8th studio album, Cancer Culture.

It's the most versatile album the band has released so far, surprising fans with elements they have never used before, such as guest appearances on vocals.

Again, Jarek Szubrycht (Carnival is Forever) has written amazing lyrics about the disproportion between the dreams, ambitions, and aspirations of humanity.  The leading engineer of the album was Tomasz Zed Zalewski (Anticult), David Castillo was responsible for mixing the album, and Ted Jensen for the final touch for mastering. The amazing cover artwork comes from Fabio Timpanaro, an Italian artist whose art perfectly describes what the band wanted to tell through visual art.

Vogg states the following: "Cancer Culture is out today!!! We've been waiting for this special moment for a very long time.
It seems like ages, five years since our latest release Anticult, sixteen months of working on the Cancer Culture album, and waiting almost a year to be able to share it with you finally.
You can expect to hear various tracks, outstanding production, fantastic artwork, and of course, as always, something you have not likely to hear on the DECAPITATED album before.
To celebrate this day, we decided to release a video for 'Iconoclast'. For this occasion, we returned to the studio where all had started, where we recorded drums for the album, to feel an incredible energy and cool vibes again while making the video.
As you probably know, we have an exceptional guest, the metal legend and friend of ours, one and only
Robb Flynn. His part of the track became one of my favorite parts of this album.
It's a huge honor to have Robb in this project, and I hope you will dig a song. It's a different song, not blasting madness as most of the songs on this record but still powerful, fast, and crushing.
We are giving you today the
Cancer Culture. DECAPITATED is back, strong and alive! From pain to strength!
Enjoy!~ Vogg"

And to celebrate the release, they have yet another surprise in store for their fans. Robb Flynn from mighty MACHINE HEAD contributes a hauntingly beautiful vocal to the track“Iconoclast”

Flynn
comments on the collaboration: "When Vogg asked me to sing on this DECAPITATED track, I was honored to jam with pioneers and insane musicians. I was blown away by this incredible melodic section in the middle when he sent the track. When he told me the song was called 'Iconoclast', I knew exactly what needed to be said.  An Iconoclast is 'a destroyer of images used in religious worship'.  This song had to address the hateful, growing fascist Evangelical movement growing around the world. The cruel men who wish to hide their cruelty under a cloak of faith and zealotry."

DECAPITATED Drops Stunning Video For Single "Hello Death" Feat. Tatiana Shmayluk (JINJER)

DROPS STUNNING VIDEO FOR SINGLE "HELLO DEATH" FEAT. TATIANA SHMAYLUK (JINJER)

PRE-ORDER AVAILABLE HERE: https://bfan.link/DecapitatedAlbum

Polish death metal masters DECAPITATED are set to release their new masterpiece Cancer Culture on May 27th and surprise their fans with a stunning new single and video.

This is what metalheads have been waiting for - a duett with one of the most amazing and outstanding female metal vocalists - Tatiana Shmayluk from the mighty JINJER.

Tatiana, a formidable screamer, went the clean vocal route for this track, enriching “Hello Death” with a moody vibe and an undeniable hook.

Vogg says, "JINJER is one of the most interesting metal acts of the last few years. And Tatiana’s vocals in the song will surprise some people. It’s really unique and amazing.
With this song, we have achieved something remarkable. We have combined two different musical styles in 'Hello Death'. As you all know, we love to add something interesting to our music. With 'Hello Death' we managed to unite our style of technical death metal with Tatiana's vocals, which adds an absolutely different epic dimension. Tatiana has one of the most incredible voices in the metal scene, and it was a wholly different and exciting experience to work with her on this track. Her voice filled the song with other emotions, which completed the meaning behind the lyrics. The song is about the fight between life and death, where we connected brutal, heavy riffs with feminine, lyrical vocals, which are powerful, influential, and straight to the point. This combination is a new thing in
DECAPITATED's music, and it shows that sometimes you need to leave your comfort zone and take a risk to achieve something totally epic.“

The video was filmed in March with Grupa 13 in Poland, while Tatiana was filming her part in a studio in the USA.

The primary place for the video was a tiny and one of the oldest existing baroque Evangelical churches in Poland, built between 1743 and 1749, in Goszcz.

Decapitated - Announce New Album Cancer Culture

Upon the release of 2017’s AnticultMetal Hammer declared DECAPITATED a serious successor to the likes of Pantera and Lamb Of God – a band who can draw new legions into the metal world as its new champions.”

Today, the band is happy to announce their diverse follow-up, 2022’s Cancer Culture for May 27th an album that delivers on that promise.

Instantly recognizable devastation and deceptively sinister hooks abound. Freshly minted DECAPITATED anthems, like the title track Cancer Culture, shimmer with sonically sharp production and unrelenting bombast.

Waclaw ‘Vogg’ Kieltyka on the first single:
"It wasn't easy to pick the first single from Cancer Culture. Each song has this different vibe that we would like to show as soon as possible and be proud of. Since 'Cancer Culture' is the first song from the album, we decided that this would be the perfect way to introduce you to new music. It is the album's opening chapter, and you know, what you can expect. "

Mastermind Vogg continues:
"Finally, after so many months of waiting, we got it. The announcement of our brand new album Cancer Culture and a new single is on!
The expectations were high, and we also gave ourselves a massive challenge with this album. But I think hard work pays off.
We had an opportunity to gather amazing people who took care of the production and helped us deliver the best we could with this album.
Again,
Jarek Szubrycht (Carnival is Forever) has written amazing lyrics for us about the disproportion between the dreams, ambitions, and aspirations of humanity. The leading engineer of the album was Tomasz Zed Zalewski (Anticult), David Castillo, responsible for mixing the album, and Ted Jensen for the final touch for mastering. For the cover, for the first time, we have worked with Fabio Timpanaro, an Italian artist whose art perfectly describes what we wanted to tell through visual art.

Don't misinterpret the title meaning of the album. It has a much broader context. You will be surprised at what we have delivered this time."
