It was also just announced that GWAR will be heading across the pond bringing “The Black Death Rager World Tour,” to Europe this summer.

You've read the album, now hear the book!

"GWAR in the Duoverse of Absurdity" chronicles the epic battle between GWAR and their doppelgangers from an alternate universe the band discovers behind their treasured Magic Mirror. The book uses an innovative storytelling technique that combines words and pictures printed on paper (made from real trees!) in a seamless format we are calling a "graphic novel.” The tale is illustrated by the masterful talents of Andy MacDonald (Wolverine, Dr Strange, Wonder Woman), Shane White (Things Undone, Braun, Endless Summer), Matt Maguire (GWAR) and Bob Gorman (GWAR). Z2 Comics (Judas Priest, Dio, Anthrax) have teamed up with GWAR to produce what will surely be known as the ultimate illustrated saga of the beloved Scumdogs of the Duoverse.

GWAR’s “Scumdogs Live” out Now on Pit Records!

“Scumdogs” 30th Anniversary Tour Starts Thursday September 16th

Rejoice humans! The day you’ve been waiting for is here! GWAR have released “Scumdogs Live!” an epic live event, filmed in the basement of GWAR’s Antarctican fortress, now available for you to own on Double LP, Blu-Ray/DVD/CD and cassette. What? You haven’t picked up a copy? Act now to spare your life!

You can still order one HERE.

The band’s lead singer, the Berzerker Blóthar sez: “In making this recording, we spared no expense to recreate the atmosphere of those early tours for Scumdogs of the Universe. You can really hear the urgency and drive that comes from a group of rockstar primadonnas, worn down from truckstop love affairs and running dangerously low on shitty cocaine, frozen chicken chimichangas and fortified wine. I had forgotten how powerfully stupid these songs really are, but we managed to capture that perfectly!”

"It was a great honor to don the armor of my fallen comrade, Flattus Maximus, and perform the songs from Scumdogs. Unfortunately I shall be searching the galaxy for an audience worthy of indulging in the soundwaves captured on this audio recording. Until I find them, I suppose Earthlings can take this record for spin,” added guitarist Pustulus Maximus.

Coinciding with this release, GWAR is streaming a performance video of “Sick of You,” from “Scumdogs Live!” Watch the video HERE.

Today the band releases another performance video from “Scumdogs of the Universe”.  Watch a live version of “Sick of You,” featuring the late great Oderus Urungus on vocals HERE.  The remixed and remastered version of the track is streaming now at all DSP’s.

Beefcake the Mighty opined; “Oh Oderus, alas, how we miss your bellicose belligerence! Our fans always want us to play the song 'Sick of You,' so naturally, we hate playing it and try to avoid it wherever we can. It really is the most ridiculous GWAR song there is. So, enjoy this tidbit Ding Dongs!”

You can pick up tickets for the Drive In shows on Saturday October 10th  HERE.

Stay tuned next week for a huge announcement from GWAR, that will finally give something else to look forward to instead of death from boredom.
