AENIMUS - RELEASE TRACK VIDEO FOR 'PHOENIX RISE';

Bay Area natives AENIMUS have released trailblazing progressive death metal since 2011. Today, the band offer fans a farewell in the form of a track video for the single'Phoenix Rise'.

Seth Stone comments, "To my fans, friends and family… With over a decade of moments shared together and infinite memories that will live with me forever, I have made the difficult decision to put Aenimus on an indefinite hiatus. Thank you all, for the support and love over the years, in making many of my dreams come true.

"Thank you to all the amazing musicians who performed and wrote these magical songs with me. Never, did I fathom I would perform and write music alongside some of the best and most humble musicians that I now consider family. I could not have accomplished any of this without a single one of you.

"Thank you to Nuclear Blast Records, Continental Touring, and everyone else within the music industry who guided Aenimus and gave us opportunities of a lifetime.

"With that, I give you all one last song, 'Phoenix Rise' a farewell to celebrate the time we spent together and a song to inspire hope to whoever needs it.

"Thank you, Brian Gosling(guitars/production), Cody Pulliam(drums), and John Flynn(bass) for sharing your amazing talents and writing 'Phoenix Rise' with me.“

'Phoenix Rise' was written by vocalist Seth Stone, guitarist Brian Gosling, bassist John Flynn, and drummer Cody Pulliam. The single was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Brian Gosling at Grimzee Studios.

"Dreamcatcher" is a concept album that draws inspiration from horror novels and movies, such as "It", "The Shining", "Hannibal Lecter", and "The Dead Zone". The album was recorded by the band while mixing and mastering were handled by Jamie King (BTBAM, THE CONTORTIONIST), and features guest appearances from Mike Semesky(INTERVALS, THE HAARP MACHINE), Jamie Hanks (I DECLARE WAR), Brian James(ex-FALLUJAH) Sims Cashion and Leonardo Guzman.

AENIMUS Joins "The Terrestrial Takeover Tour" With Headliners ALLEGAEON!

Bay Area natives AENIMUS are proud to announce they will join ALLEGAEON on their "Terrestrial Takeover Tour". The 26-date trek will kick off in Anaheim and make stops in Austin, Atlanta, and Brooklyn before concluding on July 1st in Fresno. The package includes direct support ARKAIK and openers SUMMONING THE LICH.

AENIMUS comments, “We are so excited to announce the 'Terrestrial Take Over' tour, where we will be supporting ALLEGAEON alongside ARKAIK and SUMMONING THE LICH. After 902 days since our last show, we will finally return to the stage on June 1st at 1720 in Los Angeles CA, and make our way around the country to finish the tour July 1st at Full Circle Brewery in Fresno. We look forward to performing new music off our upcoming EP Sacrificial and some fan favorites from Dreamcatcher and Transcend Reality and more than anything, we can’t wait to see all of you at a show!”

Prior to the tour, AENIMUS will also play a show with THE FACELESS, and ALLEGAEON on June 1st at 1720.

AENIMUS RELEASE VISUALIZER FOR THEIR COVER OF OPETH''S "DEMON OF THE FALL"

AENIMUS comments, "When Nuclear Blast approached us with the idea of covering a classic metal song, we honestly had a hard time deciding what song or even artist we would cover. We went back and forth for months before one of our label reps brought up the idea of paying tribute to OPETH. This idea felt immediately right with all of us. Opeth is one of Greg's favorite bands and they are one of the pioneers of progressive death metal, so it was an easy yes. We decided to go with one of their older songs, 'Demon of the Fall' because not only is it a great song that is heavy and really fit the vibes we were going for with our follow up EP Sacrificial but we felt with today's modern production we could really transform this song into something amazing. When reimagining this track, we wanted to keep that classic OPETH feel to it but give it a more modern AENIMUS sound so we focused in on adding a full orchestration behind the song and Brian even added a nice arpeggio section over one of the instrumental breaks. We are super happy how it all turned out and hope that the legends in OPETH get a chance to hear it, and maybe even dig it too.
