The Young Fables have officially been listed on the Second Ballot of the
CMA AWARDS for
Vocal Duo of the Year!
If you have absolutely no idea what that means, you are probably in very good company. Ha!
The CMA Awards voting process happens over several rounds. Artists who make it through the first round advance to the Second Ballot, where CMA voting members help determine who will move forward as the official nominees from a very short list. It is a HUGE accomplishment for us to have been recognized!
So no, we haven't cleared a spot on the mantle for a CMA Award just yet.
Buuuuuuut seeing THE YOUNG FABLES on that ballot alongside Brooks & Dunne, Brothers Osborne, Dan & Shay, The War & Treaty, and so many artists we admire was a pretty surreal little moment for us.
Many of you have been following us for years.
You've bought records, come to shows, shared songs, told friends about us and continued to believe in what we're building. Moments like this have a funny way of reminding us just how many people have helped carry this thing forward.
And to the CMA members who happen to be hiding out on this mailing list…
well, consider this a friendly little heads up. 👀
We're incredibly grateful just to have made it this far.
