Tape Room Music Marks 60th No. 1 with Back-to-Back-to-Back Chart-Toppers

Only three full weeks into the New Year, Tape Room Music has dominated the Country Airplay charts, earning three back-to-back chart-toppers and marking the publishing company’s 60th No. 1 hit since its establishment in 2011 with “Favorite Country Song.”

The occasion is exceptionally special for Beau Bailey, as “Stay Country or Die Tryin’” (Blake Shelton) and “Favorite Country Song” (HARDY) were his first two tracks sent to radio, both released on the same day, and went No. 1 consecutively, with “Stay Country or Die Tryin’” landing at No. 1 on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country charts last week and “Favorite Country Song” topping the Billboard Country chart this week.

Ben Williams is also celebrating his second No. 1 with “6 Months Later” (Megan Moroney), which topped the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country chart this week. The single followed Moroney’s “You Had To Be There (ft. Kenny Chesney),” which Williams also co-wrote.

Tape Room’s invigorating start in 2026 follows a landmark year in 2025, which saw the independent publishing company garnering six No. 1 singles, along with 13 songs on Billboard’s Year-End Hot Country Songs chart.

Tape Room writers continue to see radio success ahead, with current singles with Jon Pardi, Russell Dickerson, Nate Smith and Tyler Hubbard, Chris Janson, Lauren Alaina and Chase Matthew, and Dustin Lynch.
