“I’ve been lucky enough to have lived, loved, and partied with the best of them,” said King. “I’ve written songs for every era of my good times. My new song is for the people who deserve a good summer. It’s for people who need a break from their kids but miss them when they aren’t around. It’s for the people working two jobs, the people who never get to put themselves first! It’s a song for all the people who make this world go round. Life isn’t always fun and games, but when it is, it’s my Baby Daddy’s Weekend.”

In addition to the new track that King co-produced with Dave Cohen, she kicks off the weekend with a performance at Stagecoach on Friday, April 26, where she joins the line-up for a second consecutive year. She has an extensive year of touring in 2024, already playing iconic venues and stages, including the O2 in London, The Hydro in Glasgow, and Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth. In addition to Stagecoach, she will play some of the biggest festivals in the country this year, from Country Thunder to We Fest and Goldensky, to name a few.

“Baby Daddy’s Weekend” follows the release of her album, “Come Get Your Wife,” which received rave reviews and a Top 10 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart. The album featured the #1 smash hit “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert.

King is the first female artist in history to have scored radio No. 1 singles on four different formats including Adult Pop Songs, Adult Alternative Songs, Alternative Songs and Country Airplay charts. Her debut album Love Stuff featured her breakthrough single “Ex’s & Oh’s,” which earned her two GRAMMY nominations and is certified 4x times platinum.
