Silverstein storms Long Island with their 25 Years Of Noise tour

Starting out the electrifying evening was a captivating video documentary that chronicled the band’s illustrious career, stretching from the moment the world was supposedly supposed to end to the present day. The predominant theme throughout the film was the unwavering loyalty of the band's dedicated fans, contrasted with the deep commitment the band has always shown towards their supporters. As the band finally entered the stage, the energy in the venue erupted into a feverous roar, marking the beginning of a 25-year celebration of noise. They kicked off the night with their newest song, "Skin and Bones," setting the tone for the evening. Alongside fan favorites like "My Heroine," "The After Glow," and "Infinite," the band masterfully touched upon various highlights from their extensive career. While it is common for bands to profess their love for their fans, it is sometimes rare for them to genuinely remember and express their gratitude. However, Shane took a moment to give an enthusiastic shout-out to the NYHC group, acknowledging the profound impact they have had on the band’s journey. From that electrifying moment onward, the mosh pit grew larger and more chaotic, a testament to the palpable excitement in the crowd. With this tour slated to continue through March and two anticipated new albums, "Anti-Bloom" and "Pink Moon," set to be released soon, 2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary year for fans and the band alike.

Steel Panther celebrates 15 YRS. of "Feel the Steel"

The Paramount was the perfect venue to kick off the 15-year celebration, as Huntington, Long Island, is famously known for its vibrant and electric party atmosphere. Tonight was no different; as the audience strolled in, you could clearly see and intensely feel that they were ready to let loose and rock the night away. The party truly began with "Eye of the Panther," and the band delivered everything you would expect from the renowned Steel Panther. Each member of the band was a captivating spectacle in their own right, bringing unique energy and charisma to the performance. Mike Starr made sure to point out "Banana Man" early in the set, promising him a memorable spot on stage, which he delivered during the encore performance of "Glory Hole." The band is celebrated not only for their humor but also for their infectious songs, high-energy performances, and, of course, the stunning GIRLS. Throughout various songs, a special sexy lady was playfully serenaded by the band on stage, with the standout highlight being "17 Girls in a Row." However, for me, the undeniable musical highlight was when Akira Takasaki from Loudness joined the stage to play guitar on "Running with the Devil." Holy shit, what an unforgettable opening night of this tour! Everyone better bring their stamina because this is one exhilarating, non-stop ride that you won’t want to miss.

Before the band took the stage the audience was shown the mood of the acoustic set, by the stage set up. With candles placed everywhere, the stage looked like you were in grandma’s house.

Ben Bridwell took the stage and let us know he was under the weather but was gonna give it his all. Solo he began the set and seemed that it was going to be a great show.

The rest of the band joined him for a fantastic set of acoustic songs. I highly recommend checking out their Acoustic at the Rhyman live album to check the vibe.
