The Krushers of the USA Tour brings the mighty Kreator back to Long Island, I believe for the first time since 1989 (Sundance)!! Long Islanders didn't have to make the trek to other points of New York and they came out in numbers. Not to say that the other areas of NY didn’t show up, they did. The NYDM community made a strong presence at The Paramount of Huntington. Together turning the arena into one big swirl of humanity. Kreator touring on their newest record “Krushers of the World” gave it their all opening with “Seven Serpents” and hitting on all cylinders with “Hate Uber Alles”, “Krushers of the World” and “Pleasure to Kill”. Millie had the crowd in total control especially when he organized the wall of death, even Mr. Banana had to make way for the carnage. Bringing us back to their very first release “Endless Pain”. The band left everyone soaking wet and smiling into the night.

In direct support, or you can say co-headlining the night, was the legendary Carcass! Overwhelming us with a killer lineup of their hits - “Dance of Ixtab”, “Heartwork”, “Buried Dreams”. From start to finish the audience was just a huge wave of assault. Jeff saw the chaos and threw water out to the crowd to keep everyone safe and moving. Carcass showed us why they are still one of the top bands in the genre as they keep laying down the destruction!

Opening this special night were Floridians Cold Steel and you can tell they knew the assignment as an opening band. They got everyone warmed up, having no trouble in their task. With songs “Blacksmith of Damnation”, “No Escape” and “Protocol”, there was never a break from the band or the pit.
