The NY Mets may have been rocking the TV sets, but the real Party was happening at the Paramount Theatre with Dirty Honey hosting an unforgettable night! Hailing from vibrant Los Angeles, these talented boys know exactly how to bring that straight-up rock sound infused with infectious grooves that made the audience dance with abandon, especially the ladies in attendance. Their dynamic set heavily featured tracks from their latest album, “Can’t Find the Brakes,” while still giving a nod to fan favorites from their earlier self-titled album and EP. The electrifying sound and mesmerizing sight of Dirty Honey transported me back to a time I thought was lost amidst all the new genres of music flooding the scene. If this is the direction in which Rock music is headed, then Hallelujah, it’s going to be an exhilarating and thrilling ride of incredible Music!

Now, usually, the opening band is a hit or miss act in the grand scheme of concerts, especially when they share the stage with a well-known headliner. However, that was not the case with The Band Feel. They were an undeniable hit from the very first chords struck at the beginning of the night, proving to be a perfect pairing with Dirty Honey. Hailing from St. Louis, this young and vibrant band possesses all the right attributes needed to be headlining festivals and venues in the near future. With a style that draws inspiration from the past while maintaining a refreshing modern sensibility, they truly stand out. Despite having only one studio album to their credit, they impressed the audience with their live album, which really showcases their talents. This is undeniably the way they are meant to be seen and heard—live and in person. I honestly cannot wait to see what comes next from The Band Feel as they continue to evolve and capture the attention of music lovers everywhere.
