SAINT ASONIA SHARE "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER"

Hard rock juggernaut Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, have shared the new song "Better Late Than Never" from their upcoming Introvert EP. The EP arrives on July 1 via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The new track finds frontman Gontier laying his cards face-up on the table. Listen below.

"This is a song I wrote about growth," says Gontier. "I've battled drug and alcohol addiction for years and years. I've been in and out of rehab, trying to change and trying to become a better person. I finally hit a point in my life back in 2017, where I was just done. All of that back and forth with addiction just took its toll. I was tired — and motivated. I got clean and have stayed that way since. It took a long time to become the person I wanted to be. As they say, better late than never..."

The EP also features the band's well-received cover of The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights," which arrived last year. Additionally, the single "Above It All" is currently ascending the rock radio charts.

The quartet — rounded out by Cale Gontier [bass] and Cody Watkins [drums]— have perfected a fusion of gut-punching grooves, intricate fretwork, airtight songwriting, and soaring choruses. For as much as Gontier and Mushok had achieved in multiplatinum rock acts Three Days Grace and Staind, respectively, the musicians also architected the framework for a singular legacy together in Saint Asonia. 2015's self-titled Saint Asonia kicked open the door as Loudwire crowned them "Best New Artist" at the Loudwire Music Awards. The 2019 follow-up, Flawed Design, only ingratiated a growing fan base. Lead single "The Hunted," featuring Sully Erna of Godsmack, racked up 13 million Spotify streams, bringing their cumulative streams near the 100 million mark. New Noise awarded it 4.5-out-of-5 stars and urged, "Any fan of hard rock (whether they've listened in recently or not) should give Saint Asonia a spin." Meanwhile, Loudwire named it among "The 50 Best Rock Albums of the Year." Along the way, they hit the road with the likes of Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Alter Bridge, and Mötley Crüe.

ATREYU SHARE "BAPTIZE" REMIX BY SULLIVAN KING

So-Cal rock warriors Atreyu have partnered with Sullivan King to remix their smash single "Baptize," which is the title track off their latest album.

Check out the remix, on which Sullivan King truly put his own unique spin, here.

"When it comes to remixes, we're always aiming for someone to truly recreate the song," the band explains. "Sullivan King has such an energy to his music and his personal vibe. He was the perfect fit. This is a whole new 'Baptize.'"

It was a fitting collaboration, since Sullivan King is a producer, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who fuses dubstep and rock, creating his own space in the electronic and alternative scenes. Sullivan King’s unique live show finds the artist shredding on guitar, singing, DJing, and jumping into the pit. SATOR Release New Single "Get Out Of My Way"

New Album 'Return of The Barbie-Q-Killers' Out July 29

The second single from Sator’s long-awaited new album Return of The Barbie-Q-Killersis here!

Chips Kiesbye from the band comments:

"['Get Out Of My Way'] was written by John Hodgson and originally performed by UK punk legends Blitzkrieg Bop. It was never recorded in a studio by the band, so we did it. It was one of the first tracks we recorded for The Return of The Barbie-Q-Killers album, and it really sums up the whole idea of the album. To find songs that should have been hits and give them the ”Sator treatment”. Maybe they will be hits now?

In 1994, Sator released the cover album 'Barbie-Q-Killers', where the band made their own versions of "obscure" punk songs! The album quickly became a favorite among the band's fans and the desire/demand for a sequel has haunted them ever since. After 20 years of waiting, it's finally here. Sator - Return of The Barbie-Q-Killers!

“Rotten Romance”, their third album overall, follows their Frontiers debut, "Ignite The Sky" (2020). While the band still shows nods to the great ‘80s hard rock scene in their sound, the new album presents a stylistic leap from the band that is delightfully unexpected and welcome. Not content to be stagnant in their musical approach, Bloody Heels have pushed their sound forward, proving that innovation within the confines of a genre is always possible when the will to push through barriers exists.

Loverboy Flying High as Top Gun Maverick Sends ‘Heaven In Your Eyes” Streams Skyward With REO Speedwagon/Styx T

Multi-platinum rock group Loverboy’s “Heaven in Your Eyes,” a song featured on the original chart-topping Top Gun film soundtrack, first released by Columbia Records in 1986, is seeing streams more than triple since the premiere of the Tom Cruise-starring sequel, Top Gun Maverick. The band just embarked on a summer-long, 46-date U/S. tour with supporting acts REO Speedwagon and Styx on May 31 in Grand Rapids, MI, concluding Sept. 18 in Bangor, ME (listed below).

“When [Top Gun producers Don] Simpson and [Jerry] Bruckheimer call you for a song in their movie, you better deliver,” remembers Loverboy vocalist Mike Reno, who formed the band in Calgary after being introduced to lead guitarist Paul Dean in 1979. “We met them on a Monday, and they needed the song by Thursday, and we made it happen. It was ‘heaven in my eyes.’”

"It was the craziest thing,” adds guitarist Dean. “We all went to the movie expecting to hear the song ‘Heaven in Your Eyes’ in the movie itself and figured for sure it’s going to be the one at the jukebox, but [the Righteous Brothers’] “You’ve Lost That Lovin Feeling” plays instead. Well maybe it’s going to be in the one on the back of the motorcycle. Nope, not that one. Well then for sure it’s going to be in the credits…wrong again. But you know we did a live video with Tom Cruise in it, and it went to something like #2 on MTV, so yeah, it’s all good!"

The original Top Gun soundtrack, featuring Loverboy’s “Heaven in Your Eyes,” along with Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away,” which won the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song, topped the charts for five weeks as the best-selling soundtrack of the year and one of the best of all-time. Other notable tracks included Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” and “Playing with the Boys,” Miami Sound Machine’s “Hot Summer Nights” and Harold Faltermeyer and Steve Stevens’ “Top Gun Anthem.” Deluxe editions of the soundtrack with additional songs came out in 1999 and then again in 2006. Ironically, Loverboy tour-mates REO Speedwagon’s “Can’t Fight This Feeling” was included on the 2006 reissue.

Loverboy, Canada’s major rock ‘n’ roll export, has four multi-platinum-selling albums, including the four-million-selling Get Lucky, and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s Keep It Up and 1985’s Lovin’ Every Minute of It. Their string of hits includes, in addition to the arena-rock anthem “Working for the Weekend,” such staples as “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “Heaven in Your Eyes,” “Turn Me Loose,” “When It’s Over” and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.”

Viking Metal Pioneers EINHERJER Announce First Live Album + Reveal Official Video for Live Version of “West Coast Gro

Viking Metal Pioneers EINHERJER Announce First Live Album + Reveal Official Video for Live Version of “West Coast Groove”

Watch below.

Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends) out August 5, 2022 via Napalm Records

Pre Order NOW!

Viking Metal pioneers EINHERJER unleash incredible live power!

Norse metal legends EINHERJER proudly announce the upcoming release of their first live album, Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends), out August 5, 2022 via Napalm Records in vinyl (strictly limited to 300 copies) and digital formats! Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends) was recorded in the band’s hometown of Haugesund in February of last year at their North Star (2021) album release shows, and follows the release of said full length, which was acclaimed both by fans and media alike (Spark 5/5 [CZ], Deaf Forever 8/10 [DE], Hardline 8.5/10 [DE], Metal Hammer 8/10 [UK]).

Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends) not only includes songs from North Star, but beautifully sums up EINHERJER’s discography, offering a live gem satisfying both new and current fans and Viking metal legions beyond!

To give a first glimpse of what can be expected of the live album, EINHERJER have released the new live version of their single “West Coast Groove”, originally on North Star, along with a music video. Riddled with even huskier live vocals, the powerful track combines old school vibes with dark Viking metal atmosphere that brings the tension of a live concert into your living room.

EINHERJER on the live version of “West Coast Groove”:

"With no gigs in a year and new blood in our ranks, we recorded the two hometown release shows just to get an idea of what we sounded like live in 2021. It only took one listen to realize that our fans would appreciate this as much as we did. EINHERJER live is an energetic experience. We want to let everyone hear that, so here's our first live album, recorded live on our home turf in front of many familiar faces. The document of a great evening!"

World-renowned Norsemen EINHERJER have returned to unleash their fantastic, grim sound once more! Founded in 1993, the metal veterans have spent nearly 30 years making their mark on the Viking metal genre with eight studio albums and two EPs. This year, the band even reached another benchmark, earning a nomination for a Spellemann Award – the most important music prize in their home country of Norway!

Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends) sets off with great opener “West Coast Groove” from their most recent studio album, North Star (2021). Next, “The Spirit Of A Thousand Years” showcases EINHERJER’s technical songwriting sophistication with the finest guitar solos, while “The Blood & The Iron” offers bursting, intense energy and “Kill The Flame” lures with its characteristic riffage. But the band doesn’t stop with more recent songs! After visiting several other favorites, the band soon returns to days of yore with tracks like “Dragons Of The North” and “Ballad Of The Swords” from their 1996 debut full-length Dragons Of The North, before closing with turn-of-the-century banger “Ironbound”and classic tune “Far Far North”. The live contrast between their formative hits and more recent orchestrations clearly proves that the band has remained true to themselves throughout the decades, continually delivering an authentic sound.

Norse And Dangerous (Live... From The Land Of Legends) will be available in the following formats:

SEVERE TORTURE Streams New EP 'Fisting the Sockets' in Full

The time has arrived! After 12 years of silence, death metal machine SEVERE TORTURE has returned with a brand new EP, 'Fisting the Sockets!' The band has teamed up with Death Metal Promotions to stream the record in its entirety before its release THIS Friday, June 10. Listen below.

In addition, the brutal death metal outfit will be performing in the United States on October 10 at the New Standard Elite Festival in Las Vegas, NV!

SEVERE TORTURE comment on the stream: "To put it bluntly; We are so fucking proud to share these songs with all of our death metal friends around the world! This EP is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg of signature Severe Torture death metal that lurks beneath the surface. So enjoy our new EP to get a taste of what’s to come in the very near future! Stay brutal!"

Pre-sales are now live at the Season of Mist shop HERE. The album can be pre-saved HERE.

Brutal. Death. Metal.
These words define the unique sound of the extreme metal that SEVERE TORTURE is known for since 1997. SEVERE TORTURE has been a constant force over the last 25 years, in presence as well as in their line-up. Their debut album "FEASTING ON BLOOD'' was hailed as an instant classic in the early beginnings of the new wave of brutal death metal in 2001.

Ever since the release of their debut the band has toured extensively. Playing shows in North and South America, Mexico and their home continent Europe in support of the 5 albums they have released over the last 25 years.

Since SEVERE TORTURE is about quality not quantity, they have been laying low since their latest album “SLAUGHTERED”, released in 2010. While still playing shows for the love of the genre, the band was in search of the brutality and energy needed for the material of a new SEVERE TORTURE album. This soul-searching led to the amical split with original drummer Seth in 2018, who was replaced 2018 by Damien Kerpentier. With renewed energy and focus the band started with a clean slate by writing new material, arguably their best material to this day.

“FISTING THE SOCKETS” will be the first feat of SEVERE TORTURE in 12 years. The band has re-signed their deal with Season of Mist and if it wasn’t for a certain pandemic this upcoming EP “FISTING THE SOCKETS” was probably released much earlier.

SEVERE TORTURE is currently recording their full-length album, to be released early 2023 through Season of Mist Records.

Whiskey Myers Bring Rock & Roll to Sold Out Red Rocks; Earn Four New RIAA Gold & Platinum Certifications

With Cowboys & Indians celebrating Whiskey Myers as “on a course toward massive success,” the band continued to prove just how true that is last night, June 6, at their sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut. Thrilling the audience of 9,525 with 19 hard-rocking, genre-bending songs across more than two hours of nonstop music, the six-piece was also surprised backstage pre-show with plaques celebrating four brand-new RIAA certifications. “Stone,” “Ballad of a Southern Man” and “Broken Window Serenade” earned Platinum distinction while “Virginia” was certified Gold.

Strutting on stage backed by a live horns section, the band kicked off the show with a rousing live rendition of current single “John Wayne,” praised by Billboard as “nearly five minutes of righteous Southern rock, which arrives via a swampy mesh of soul and funk,” continuing, “Cody Cannon’s raspy growl leads a flurry of sizzling guitar, thumping bass, swirling harmonica and flashes of horns, as this group continues pushing its boundaries.”

The energy continued to rise from there with two tracks off their 2019 chart-topping album, WHISKEY MYERS; Top 20 fire-burner “Gasoline” and the reflective “Bury My Bones,” before bringing the crowd’s cheers to a new high with the fuzzed-out groove of their hit “Frogman,” a tribute to America’s Navy Seals that saw Cannon summoning even more energy from the crowd with his hands in the air.

The newly certified “Broken Window Serenade” offered one of many crowd singalong moments of the night during a section of ever-popular songs from prior albums Firewater and Mud, as the volume was turned up once again during “Bar, Guitar and a Honky Tonk Crowd” and “Deep Down in the South” with the chorus of claps during recent single “Die Rockin’” reverberating off the iconic rock faces.

The set slowed down temporarily during the now Gold-certified ballad “Virginia,” which saw percussionist Tony Kent transition to the keys partway through the song as Cannon asked for the house lights up to see the still-standing crowd. Tucked among “Glitter Ain’t Gold,” “Early Morning Shakes” (which included one of the night’s many extended jam sessions) and “How Far” (punctuated by a rousing horns solo) was a sneak peek at yet-to-be released track “The Wolf” off the band’s sixth studio album, Tornillo, set for release July 29 via their own Wiggy Thump records with distribution by Thirty Tigers.

As the band left the stage to close out the main set the crowd never left their feet, reaching a fever pitch as Cannon returned solo. “Thank y’all so much for being here tonight, it means the world,” he remarked. “We’ve never played a place this nice before, so we had to go to the Goodwill to get us some suits and class it up a bit,” he joked of the all-white custom suits the band donned for the occasion before treating the loyal fans who sold the venue clean the day the long-awaited show went on sale to an acoustic version of “Reckoning.”

“It’s comin’!” he laughed as the still at-capacity crowd then began chanting the opening lines of “Ballad of a Southern Man” as if on cue. The full band rejoined him on stage to fulfill the fans’ request, launching into a five-song stretch to close out the memorable night. Lighters filled the Colorado night sky as percussionist and keys player Tony Kent tapped out the opening chords of “Stone” before breaking out his famed cowbell high kick during beloved classic “Home.” Lead guitarist John Jeffers then took the lead on fan favorite “Bitch” before openers Read Southall Band and Shane Smith & The Saints joined the onstage party – along with the band’s family members – for the ultimate finale with a rock ‘n’ roll revival cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Refugee.”

As the band takes the show to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival next weekend, June 17, while continuing to fill venues 10,000+ strong on their cross-country Tornillo Tour, the sold-out Red Rocks debut served to prove what Classic Rock Magazine proclaims of Whiskey Myers: “Authenticity: you can’t buy it, you can’t bluff it. And you can’t beat it when it comes to delivering dirty, down-home, electric guitar music from the American south.”
For more information and a full list of upcoming shows, visit www.WhiskeyMyers.com and follow on social media @WhiskeyMyers.

About Whiskey Myers
Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers have played more than 2,500 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. Their forthcoming self-produced album, Tornillo, set for release July 29, follows their self-produced fifth studio album, WHISKEY MYERS, out now on the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records. WHISKEY MYERS debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). Their previous album, Mud, reached No. 1 on the iTunes country chart with single “Stone” hitting Top 10 all genre. In total, Whiskey Myers have sold more than 1.2 million albums and amassed over 1.5 billion streams while earning four RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications. USA Today describes the band led by frontman Cody Cannon as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock & roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.” The band known for their high-energy live show and unique sound has also earned sync success with features (and an on-screen appearance) in Paramount Network’s hit show “Yellowstone” as well as the Renée Zellweger-led Netflix series “What/If,” the Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and hit CBS series “SEAL Team.”

DEATHWHITE Streams New Album 'Grey Everlasting' Ahead of Release

Enigmatic dark metal outfit DEATHWHITE ia now streaming their brand new full-length, 'Grey Everlasting,' in its entirety ahead of Friday's release! The album can be heard below.

DEATHWHITE comments: "It is with great pride to share the full stream of 'Grey Everlasting.' We have done our share of reflecting now that the album's release is just days away. The most rewarding aspect of being in Deathwhite is writing and recording music, then sharing it. The creation of 'Grey Everlasting' was an intense but fruitful process. Its formal release this Friday is what we worked so hard to achieve. That said, we remain indebted to those who have supported us since our 2012 inception and sincerely hope the album is of enjoyment."

'Grey Everlasting' will follow up 2020's critically-acclaimed 'Grave Image,' which was named one of the best metal albums of 2020 by Bravewords, Heavy New York, Dead Rhetoric, A&P Reacts, Teeth of the Divine, and Pandemonium TV.

'Grey Everlasting' is available to pre-order HERE and can be pre-saved to your streaming library HERE.

Anno 2022 marks the tenth year of Deathwhite. The ensuing years have borne witness to the continued, if not expedited unraveling of humankind and the world in which it so harshly occupies. The 2020 global pandemic — an event of unimaginable magnitude — has amplified the worst in us. Cruelty, dishonesty, greed, obfuscation and selfishness are celebrated, worn as a badge of pride as the world burns figuratively and literally. Such was the environment of discontent and isolation that enigmatic dark metal quartet Deathwhite concocted its third full-length studio offering, Grey Everlasting. Utilizing the same team as 2020’s Grave Image, Grey Everlasting was recorded during May and June 2021 at Cerebral Audio Productions with producer/engineer Shane Mayer. Vocals were again tracked at Erik Rutan’s (Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal) Mana Recording under the guidance of engineer Art Paiz. Legendary Swedish producer and engineer Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Edge of Sanity, Nightingale) is responsible for the mastering, while French visual artist Jérôme Comentale reprised his role for the fourth consecutive Deathwhite release.

Written just as the global lockdown began in March 2020, Grey Everlasting is an album of diversity and depth. While the band’s clean vocal delivery set to the backdrop of unyielding dark metal remains ever-present, some new wrinkles are added to Deathwhite’s sound. Extreme metal elements — a reference to the band’s musical background — as well as heavy keyboard orchestration have been brought to the fore. The album also treads more atmospheric paths while staying true to Deathwhite’s melodic underpinnings. “We have grown accustomed to putting our songs under a microscope, but this album demanded an even deeper examination of where we wanted to go,” said the band collectively. “There was little interest in re-writing Grave Image; instead, we had to carve new paths and challenge ourselves musically. We were unafraid to try new things, so, accordingly, the creation process was occasionally arduous. However, it made the result something we are incredibly proud of.”

Lyrically, Grey Everlasting balances Deathwhite’s harsh view of the world with themes of self-preservation. It is a rare glimmer of light from a band that has regularly addressed the ills of humankind on previous albums. However, the onset of the global pandemic made Grey Everlasting an appropriate title. “The album’s lyrics were assembled throughout the pandemic, events that also included strife on the political and human rights front,” said the band. “As disheartening as these events were, they were hardly a surprise. The human race has had more than enough time to figure out how to coexist properly, but still cannot get it right…and it never will.”

Multi-Platinum, Grammy nominated band Saliva released their new radio single "Crows" to all major platforms! Catch the band on tour with Otherwise this June!

Singer Bobby Amaru states, "Crows is about a broken relationship with someone that is unable to accept what and who they really are. Someone you try and fix but cannot. When I say “I’m not bowing to the crows inside your head!”

He continues, "That means I’m done giving into the same shit that’s been eating this relationship alive. I think many people can relate who have been in this situation before. They continue to let the other person drag them down until enough is enough!"

Saliva will continue to release tracks and ultimately a full album in 2022. The new music has a contemporary feel but sticks to the blue collar roots that their fans love.

After acquiring front man Bobby Amaru in 2011, Saliva became infused with new blood, energy, and spirit. The same energy launched Saliva’s career in 2001 with the release, _Every Six Seconds – a certified Double Platinum-selling album, containing the hits, “Click Click Boom” and 2002 Grammy nominated, “Your Disease.” Saliva’s in-your-face, anthemic writing style continued with a certified Gold-selling album *Back in to Your System_ with hits: “Always,” “Raise Up,” and the Nikki Sixx co-written, “Rest In Pieces.”*

About Morgan Wade
Morgan Wade didn't write to be a sensation, for critical acclaim or massive concert tours. She wrote to speak her truth, to save her own life – and perhaps throw a rope to others struggling with the weight of a world moving too fast, loves where you fall too hard and nights that, good or bad, seem to go on forever. A Blue Ridge Mountain girl willing to put her whole truth out there as an artist without flinching – and as a performer who gives it all away onstage – Wade has a voice The FADER lauds is “like a jagged blade, sharp enough to draw blood but lustrous under the light” while The New York Times declares “she sounds like she’s singing from the depths of history.” The old soul writer understands chaos, compulsion and letting go in a way most people will never experience; with her songs, she brings listeners inside the rollercoaster ride of euphoria, emptiness and exile with a soft touch and deep truth. With her unabashed debut album Reckless, she landed on various Best Album and Songs of 2021 rankings from TIME, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Stereogum, The FADER, Tennessean, Boston Globe, and more. Produced by Jason Isbell + the 400 Unit guitarist Sadler Vaden and Paul Ebersold, the trio worked to create a song cycle that pulled the lean rock of Tom Petty through a modern take on country -- and achieved a No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Top 30 Countdown with “Wilder Days.” As the acoustic guitar-driven, Top 40 “Days” scales country radio, Reckless (Deluxe Edition), available now, expands the conversation with six additional tracks, including a scalding, heart beating read on Elvis’ Presley’s “Suspicious Minds” and desperate “The Night” – Wade’s first release. Having toured with Lucero last fall, she joins Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Brooks & Dunn on the road throughout 2022.

GENERATION RADIO ANNOUNCES DEBUT ALBUM SELF-TITLED RELEASE OUT AUGUST 5, 2022

NEW SINGLE & VIDEO, 'WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME NOW?' OUT TODAY

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the upcoming self-titled debut album from Generation Radio, a colossal new rock group centered around the combined talents of Jay Demarcus (Rascal Flatts) and Jason Scheff (longtime lead vocalist of Chicago), on August 5, 2022. Today, the band has released the first single and video from the album, 'Why Are You Calling Me Now?'. Watch the video below.

Fans of classic AOR in the style of Journey and Chicago are going to absolutely lose their minds when they hear Generation Radio's stunning debut.

Pre-order/save "Generation Radio" on CD/LP/Digital HEREhttps://orcd.co/genradio

In the beginning of 2020, Generation Radio came together with the intent to form a band with a purpose - to bring classic 80’s rock back to life. As their self-titled debut illustrates, mission accomplished! Two-time Grammy award winning bassist Jay Demarcus of the hugely popular country act Rascal Flatts and Jason Scheff, who was lead vocalist and bass player for the multi-platinum band Chicago for over 30 years, are joined by drummer/vocalist Deen Castronovo (Journey, Revolution Saints) guitarist Chris Rodriguez and guitarist Tom Yankton in Generation Radio.

"This music is the best of all of us. Everyone in this band sings and contributes in a huge way. Jason is not only one of my best friends, but he is also one of my all-time favorite singers, and his performances on this record are stellar. Deen is among the very best drummers in the world, but he is also a world-class singer. In fact, I’m convinced Journey heard him with us, and immediately wanted him back in the band! I’m kidding, of course, but we were fortunate to have him on this 'journey'. Finally, Chris and Yankton are veterans and some of my favorite musicians and singers. Chris and I go back to our early days together in Christian music. It is a true honor to make music with people who you respect so much, and hold in such high regard," says Jay Demarcus.

"My partner Jay [DeMarcus] had the idea to fuse Rascal Flatts with Journey and Chicago, so that's what we did. Jay had several songs over the years that he'd co-written, exhibiting all his influences. There was no surprise he listened to a lot of Journey and Chicago! Those songs became the catalyst for the band and we rounded it out with some songs written specifically for the album that were in keeping with that theme. There's no other way to put it other than when you listen to this record you will hear a beautiful blend of Rascal Flatts meets Journey meets Chicago, not to mention having the best of the best in the production, recording, and mastering department. A team of all current hitmakers," adds Jason Scheff.

Be sure to follow the band on social media (links below) to stay up to date on announcements about live shows, new singles, and of course, the release of the debut album on August 5th.

ELI YOUNG BAND’S SIXTH STUDIO ALBUM LOVE TALKING IS AVAILABLE NOW Title Track Continues to Impress at Country Radio, Across Streaming Platforms

With a musical brotherhood spanning two decades and producing four No. 1 hits, six Gold and Platinum/multi-Platinum certifications, a GRAMMY nomination and more, Eli Young Band releases their sixth studio album today, June 3. Love Talking is available everywhere now via The Valory Music Co. Listen HERE.

As CMT declares, “Mike Eli has one of country music’s most distinct voices and after 20 years of playing with the same guys, the band knows how to own any story country music has to tell and stamp it with their signature harmonious country, rock, Texas blend.” That signature stamp is on full display throughout the album, with Eli serving as a cowriter on seven of the nine songs.

“I found such a creative haven in songwriting over the past couple years of uncertainty, so we had more songs to pick from for this album than ever before,” reflects Eli. “When it came time for us to really listen through and narrow it down, we all collectively realized that the songs raising their hands the most were the positive, optimistic ones. That big, uplifting energy is what we needed as a band in that moment – and we understood that our fans were probably needing it, too, so that’s the vibe we hope this album portrays to the world.”

Love Talking” (Mike Eli, Eric Arjes, Jeffrey East), the title track album opener, is praised by Billboard as an “ultra-romantic” song that “swirls with an irresistible melody and propulsive rhythm.” People also notes that the current radio single follows “the recipe that has thus far resulted in widespread success for the band of brothers” yet still “keep[s] the band fresh.”

The album continues with two songs that gave fans a sneak peek at the new music in recent months. “Lucky For Me” (Mike Eli, Jimmy Robbins, Laura Veltz) showcases EYB’s sound Rolling Stone praises as “backed by force-of-nature passion” over a driving pulse of rapid-fire adoration for an incomparable woman while “Break Up In A Bar” (Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps) offers a three-and-a-half-minute positive twist on ending a relationship via one of the album’s only outside cuts.

Platinum-certified No. 1 single “Love Ain’t” (Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley, Shane McAnally) serves as the other outside cut. The sixth most-played song of 2020 on the Mediabase chart was also recently performed by the band during the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C., airing nationally to over 100 million households on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW stations throughout the month of June and broadcasting to U.S. troops on the American Forces Network.

The latter half of the album brings what the band cites as a sonic departure on “Chances Are” (Mike Eli, Eric Arjes, Jordan Minton) as “Live With It” (Mike Eli, Josh Osborne, Daniel Ross) offers a fresh way to describe a universal moment in new relationships. Eli calls “Tell Me It Is” (Mike Eli, Jon Nite, Jimmy Robbins” his most personal on the record, written during the height of the pandemic as he found himself turning to his wife for assurance that all would be okay. Meanwhile, “A Good Thing” (Mike Eli, Eric Arjes, Jeffrey East), meanwhile, has a positive energy reflecting its status as one of the last songs he wrote before things truly shut down in early 2020.

Rounding out the project is an acoustic version of the current single, “Love Talking,” offering a stripped-back take on the song celebrated by American Songwriter as “silky-smooth” to bring the project full circle.

As their Love Talking Tour rolls through the weekend with sold-out shows last night in Dewey Beach, Del. and tonight in Washington, D.C., EYB fans clearly have a lot to celebrate.

They have performed on national television shows such as “TODAY,” “Conan,” “Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “FOX & Friends.” While selling out venues from coast-to-coast as strong headliners, EYB has also shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Chris Young, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band.

Wade Bowen Announces 'Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth' (August 12); Lead Single "Everything Has Your M

Lead Single “Everything Has Your Memory” Out Now; Listen HERE

Full Length Album Follows Recent EP Where Phones Don’t Work; Pre-Order/Pre-Save
HERE

A dozen albums already show Wade Bowen’s musical evolution – including six studio sets, two live collections, a gospel album and an ongoing series of buddy-country hits with fellow Texan Randy Rogers – and yet he continues to prove that his music can’t be constrained by the state line with today’s announcement of his highly anticipated full-length album, Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth, set for August 12 release via Thirty Tigers. Working with Warner Chappell Music to write and record on retreats to the remote landscape of Texas as well as in Nashville studios, Bowen’s lead single, “Everything Has Your Memory,” is available everywhere now. Listen HERE and pre-order/pre-save the album HERE.

“I went through a big writer’s drought; kind of just being shell shocked from everything, not knowing how to handle it, and then finally came out of that and just had this flood of just wanting to write,” reflects Bowen, who served not only as a cowriter on all 12 songs, but also as a solo producer for the first time in his career. “This reset button really rejuvenated my passion for my entire career, all the way across the board.

“I was trying to find where I fit musically again,” he continues. “I’ve been doing this so long that I feel like I got off track from where I felt I fit – I was all over the place with my songwriting and my career. Ironically enough, COVID really gave me a chance to just turn my brain off a little bit and stop thinking. When I came out on the other side, I really found not only a renewed sense of my music and wanting to get out and play again, but I found a renewed sense of self. I found who I wanted to be as a writer, as a singer, as an artist.”

The resulting project follows his recent six-song EP Where Phones Don’t Work, praised by American Songwriter as “a collection of heartfelt tunes and honest recollections” with lead single “When Love Comes Around” celebrated by Billboard for “[retaining] a newcomer’s energetic fervor, melded with his signature blend of sounds from across the wide spectrum of Texas Music” and honored by MusicRow with a “DISClaimer” Award, noting that the “perennially popular… honky-tonker can always be counted on for country excellence.” MusicRow repeated the honor for follow up “Phones Don’t Work,” describing the track as “a perfect performance.”

Now, with lead single “Everything Has Your Memory,” Bowen offers fans a glimpse at what’s to come with the full-length project this August and reflects his desire to create a project to truly supplement his live set list.

“I love when you finish a song and you feel like, ‘okay, this one is for sure going to make the record,’” he notes. “This one is so melody driven; it’s just singable… the way we produced it and worked it up, it fit perfectly as the opening track and I think it’s a great introduction to what people are going to hear for the rest of the album.

“Not being on the road very much, knowing we were going to come back and be playing a heavy schedule of touring,” he continues, “I really wanted just the simplicity of the songs to really carry themselves and carry the album and lead us all the way through the show; where the simplicity creates these big, massive sounding songs.”

Fans can catch Bowen performing these new songs as well as his extensive catalog of hits at shows across the country this summer.

About Wade Bowen
Twenty years and some 4,000 shows into his career, the name Wade Bowen has become synonymous with authentic Country music – and for good reason. An artistic descendant of American icons like Guy Clark, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Robert Earl Keen and more, Bowen is a contemporary link in a Texan chain of roots-rock poets stretching back more than 50 years – yet his ambition never ended at the state line.

Seen as one of the genre’s finest and most genuine modern voices, Bowen’s approach stays rooted in tradition, but also stands on the creative cutting edge. His focus remains on writing unique songs with a literary quality and shifting his sonic territory to match his life, as evidenced by uplifting lead single “Everything Has Your Memory” off his forthcoming album, Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth, set for release August 12 via Thirty Tigers.

Wielding a knack for direct, poetic songwriting that never panders, Bowen matches his gravel-road growl to an organic sound spanning the whole of Texas and beyond, tapping both country and rock influences. A dozen albums have shown his sonic diversity – including six studio sets, two live collections, a gospel album and an ongoing series of buddy-country hits with fellow Texan Randy Rogers. Along the way, he’s scored hits and accolades based on quality, not quantity, and continues to perform around 200 nationwide shows each year – including multiple appearances on the venerated Grand Ole Opry stage.

BLACKTOP MOJO Releases Second Music Video in Animated Concept Series, "Darlin I Won't Tell"

Texas Rock Band BLACKTOP MOJO has released their second animated video for their two part compilation series, "Darlin I Won't Tell". Created by front-man MATT JAMES and bassist CATT MURTIS on the porch of the band’s house in Palestine, TX, with an acoustic guitar, "Darlin I Won't Tell" unfolded in Nashville with the help of producer PHILIP MOSLEY. The animated video for "Darlin I Won't Tell" was preceded by "Jealousy / Make Believe" in April.

“From our fourth record, ‘Jealousy/Make Believe’ and ‘Darlin I Won’t Tell’ are sort of a concept album within the album. The three songs flow together as a singular narrative and we wanted to create a striking visual to convey the story. We decided to do something cool that we’ve never done before and make a 3 song animated video to tell this story of heartbreak, murder, and deception.” - BLACKTOP MOJO

Formed in late 2012 by vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis in the small East Texas town of Palestine, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of sludgy grooves, classic rock guitar riffs, and southern metal shredding falls somewhere between Soundgarden and Lynyrd Skynyrd to form a sound deemed by some as "Texas Grunge". The music draws on a multitude of genres and styles to form a hodgepodge of dirty, heavy rock and roll mixed with sensual and at times even, carnal blues.

After their debut album I Am” in 2014, The band spent a few years cutting their teeth in dive bars, dancehalls, and honky tonks around Texas. In 2017, during the recording of their sophomore record Burn The Ships the guys quit their day jobs, moving into a small house together in Palestine, TX. The house created an unbreakable fellowship between the band and a culture of constant creativity.

Released via their label Cuhmon Records, Burn The Ships yielded two Billboard Top 40 singles on the Mainstream Active Rock charts including “Where The Wind Blows” (#27) and a cover of the Aerosmith classic, “Dream On” (#31). After the album cycle and touring for Burn The Ships concluded, the guys returned home in 2018, where they locked themselves in the band house for six months to write their third record, Under The Sun. The record yielded them another top 40 single in "Can't Sleep" (#27) and the band continued touring in the US through the beginning of 2020.

Locked down with the rest of the world and unable to continue touring, the guys began work on their fourth, self-titled album, which released August 13th, 2021 to rave reviews, reaching #3 on the iTunes Rock Chart and #17 on the all-genre Albums Chart.

Named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch, fast-rising star Dalton Dover continues to build on his stand-out year with the release of “Hear About A Girl” via Droptine Recordings, ahead of making his CMA Fest debut next Friday, June 10 on the Chevy Vibes Stage at 12:30pm CT.

“This ride so far has been crazy,” says Dover of releasing 3 songs since October 2021 independently. “Everything I’ve worked for my entire life is happening right before my eyes, and I’ll forever be grateful to everyone for listening, sharing and duetting the music and to the Country community for giving this ole boy from Georgia a real shot. I’m so thankful for each of you. Here’s to dreams coming true, some kick-ass shows and new music!”

Written by Adam Craig, Michael Carter and Jim McCormick, and produced by Matt McV, “Hear About A Girl” showcases the Georgia-native’s dynamic vocals, with MusicRow sharing the song is “beautifully done,” giving him “the space to stretch his range and volume,” while also praising, “We’re the presence of a master country talent when this man sings. Make him a star. Now.”

Today’s release follows his debut songs “You Got A Small Town” and “Baby I Am,” which saw the 23-year-old garnering critical acclaim from Billboard, sharing “he infuses his brand of country with a bluesy intensity,” and earning a spotlight as February’s Country Rookie of the Month. He was also named Country Now “Country Next” artist, sharing “Dover’s country music career may be just beginning, but his star is quickly catching fire.”

Released via industry vet Jim Catino’s Droptine Recordings, Dover hit the ground running with “You Got A Small Town,” as Billboard praised “the song’s tale is lifted by blazing guitar lines and Dover’s soaring vocals, transforming the track into a smoky love letter to small towns,” while MusicRow lauded Dover “displays impressive range and volume on this salute to rural roots,” calling it “an impressive debut, reminiscent of the titanic Luke Combs.”

Ahead of his official CMA Fest debut, Dover will perform Thursday, June 9 at the Spotify House at Ole Red before joining Luke Combs at The Bootlegger’s Tailgate Party presented by Whiskey Jam on July 30 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Dover is set to release new music throughout the remainder of 2022. For the latest follow along on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook.

About Dalton Dover
Twenty-three-year-old Dalton Dover first started singing at church as a kid, winning his fifth-grade school talent show performing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” In that moment Dover’s love of performing was born. By the age of 16 he had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Enamored with the honesty and storytelling found in country music, Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” was the first song Dover taught himself to play on guitar. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R Veteran and founder of Droptine Recordings, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Faith, the two have lived in the same rural Georgia small town, population 1,200, all their lives, important for the Dovers to give their two young children, Taylor and Alyiah, the same idyllic childhood they had growing up — the life one finds in a small town. And it’s that pace and familiarity he enjoys so much that he sings about on his debut track “You Got a Small Town.” Produced by McV and available now on Droptine, “You Got A Small Town” earned praise from Billboard, sharing “the song’s tale is lifted by blazing guitar lines and Dover's soaring vocals, transforming the track into a smoky love letter to small towns” with MusicRowcalling it “an impressive debut, reminiscent of the titanic Luke Combs.” With this debut track and follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch. His latest release “Hear About A Girl” is available now. Dover is set to release new music throughout the remainder of 2022. For the latest follow along on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook.

BLACKWATER DROWNING Premiere Music Video for "Mortal Coil" via Ghost Cult Magazine

North Carolina's Blackwater Drowning have released the second single from their upcoming full-length album. The melodic death metal outfit is proud to share a new music video for the song "Mortal Coil" .

The debut LP from Blackwater Drowning'Sonder//'Satori', will see a July 8, 2022 via Blood Blast Distribution.

Speaking about the music video for "Mortal Coil", the band comments:

“Thematically, this song speaks to the visceral desire to look beyond the mere physical aspects of this world and into the elements beyond our understanding. The video takes a hard, metaphorical look at breaking the binds that entrap us in the cyclical thought patterns that do not serve us. We used the rope art of Shibari to visually illustrate the concept of these intangible ties that affix us all to the mortal plane. The rope art was beautifully executed by local artist Devin Parker of Parker Rope Works, and the video was masterfully captured by videography legend Sabrina Lee.”

About Blackwater Drowning:

BLACKWATER DROWNING is a five-piece US melodic death metal band from North Carolina. Formed in 2014 by singer Morgan Riley and guitarist Jeremy Bennett, the band is completed by guitarist Ron Dalton Jr., bassist Aria Novi, and drummer Chris Peavy.

Since the band’s inception, BLACKWATER DROWNING has recorded two EPs and supported iconic acts such as SOULFLY, JINJER, OTEP, and LAST TEN SECONDS OF LIFE. During the challenges of the pandemic, the band wrote and recorded its soon-to-be-released first full-length album at Blackplate Productions in Dunn, NC with Jon Berrier and Garrett Barefoot. Titled ‘Sonder//Satori’;, the album consolidates the band's dynamic and melodic death metal prowess.

In reflecting on the band’s origins, bassist Aria Novi offers“We felt like the term ‘blackwater’ represented both darkness and rebirth. We added drowning to convey the idea that the darkness could be all-consuming, and that one could, in fact, lose themselves entirely to that darkness”.

With lyrics that confront injustice, offer social commentary, and explore the metaphysical, the themes that drive the band are as dynamic as the sound itself. Creating a hybrid of blackened rasping, emotive melodies, brutal and savage assaults that transcend to heavy grooves and death metal soundscapes, BLACKWATER DROWNING offer a sound that stands alongside acts such THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SOILWORK and DARKEST HOUR.

BLACKWATER DROWNING is:

Morgan Riley - Vocals

Aria Novi - Bass & Vocals
