Randy Houser Unveils One-Take Music Video for "Note To Self" + Performs to Sold-Out Ryman Auditorium Sunday, 3/20

Directed by Jay Christensen, One-Take Video Shot Entirely by Drone
Showcases Longstanding Performer Path Between
Historic Ryman Auditorium and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

Houser Soars at Sold Out Show at Ryman Auditorium
Sunday, March 20 with Special Guests Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson

“Call it regressionist country, but for Houser, it is vital and potent” – Pollstar

On the heels of the release of his latest song “Note To Self,” country powerhouse Randy Houser unveils an innovative performance video directed by internationally acclaimed cinematographer Jay Christensen and co-directed by Spencer S. Peter, shot in one take entirely by a drone. Watch the video HERE.

Shot in downtown Nashville, the video follows Houser performing solo from Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, across the alley and to the historic stage of Ryman Auditorium where he joins his full band.

“It was amazing to watch Jay go to work. He’s like a mad scientist with these drones,” shares Houser. “After seeing his viral bowling alley video last year, we thought about taking that concept and applying it to a performance video in these historic locations.

“We also wanted to spotlight a special part of Nashville, one that not everyone gets to experience,” the Mississippi-native continues. “The short walk between the Ryman and Tootsie’s is a path taken by some of the most legendary performers across all genres. It felt like a special way to honor and appreciate two of the city’s most enduring staples.”

Named as “one of the best voices in the genre” by Rolling Stone, Houser delivered the first taste of new music since 2019’s critically acclaimed Magnolia with the release of “Note To Self,” co-written with Ross Copperman, Casey Beathard and Bobby Pinson, with Billboard sharing the song “follows in a rich tradition of country ‘wisdom songs,’” and “Houser’s booming and nuanced country baritone is as captivating as ever.”

With multiple sold-out shows so far in 2022, Houser wrapped his headlining tour last night, Sunday, March 20 with a sold-out performance at Ryman Auditorium, with special guests Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson.

“Harkening back to a time when country stars came, played hard and sang truth, Houser’s show spoke more of Merle Haggard’s prime, or Waylon Jennings’ – suggesting an era where songs that contained adult lives were created to give people of a certain age music that held their reality,” praises Pollstar.

“If there was ever a voice made for Ryman Auditorium, it’s yours,” Bentley said to Houser on stage Sunday night.

Houser joins Jamey Johnson beginning this week for their co-headlining Country Cadillac Tour Part 2, featuring the two longtime friends sharing the stage once again while performing acoustically and swapping jokes and stories. Tickets are available at RandyHouser.com.

About Randy Houser
With an inimitable voice the New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Randy Houser racked up three consecutive No. 1 hits and more than four million in singles sales to date with his Stoney Creek Records album, How Country Feels. He topped the charts with the title track, “Runnin' Outta Moonlight” and “Goodnight Kiss” (also his first No. 1 as a songwriter) and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 smash and CMA Song of the Year-nominated “Like A Cowboy.” Houser added a fourth No. 1 to his catalogue with “We Went” from his 2016 album, Fired Up. The San Francisco Bay Area has a history steeped in forward-thinking, technically dazzling metal, and NITE carries that torch with pride. Founded in 2018, their blackened heavy metal brand barrels towards the peril of an unknown future, while keeping one eye on the days when blistering leads once ruled the land. Guitarists Van Labrakis (Satan’s Wrath, Mencea) and Scott Hoffman (Dawnbringer, High Spirits) let loose galloping riffs and harmonies that evoke the classic sounds of the N.W.O.B.H.M., with Labrakis’ grizzled voice driving their dark, melodic metal into the modern era.

With Avinash Mittur (Wild Hunt) replacing founding bassist Bryan Coons in early 2021, he and drummer Patrick Crawford (Serpents of Dawn, Older Sun) make up a rhythm section that’s fierce yet breathlessly precise: a freewheel pounding reminiscent of the early days of heavy metal, with a Rickenbacker-powered roar fueling the low end. NITE’s debut full-length Darkness Silence Mirror Flame, released in March 2020 by Creator-Destructor Records, earned widespread praise. It showcased their fist-raising classic heavy metal that nearly every fan of the genre once fell in love with, but with a twisted and shadowy edge that the titans of old could never imagine. NITE is the flame of the past illuminating the darkness of tomorrow.

Morgan Wallen's Nashville Shows Raise $120k for More Than My Hometown Foundation; Weekend Pop-up Show Continues

After three nights of at-capacity crowds in Music City on his Dangerous Tour, totaling more than 40,000 fans across consecutive nights at Bridgestone Arena, Morgan Wallen kept the music playing with a pop-up, stripped-down acoustic set for a crowd of roughly 100 fans at Graduate Nashville’s Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

The fourth show in four days made good on a prize rewarded to a raffle winner from his Morgan Wallen & Friends Show at Marathon Music Works on Sept. 8, 2021, where over $800,000 was raised for flood victims of Middle Tennessee, in partnership with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund.

Fans were given a hint of the discreet pop-up show via an Instagram post made by Graduate Nashville just hours before the show’s start. They did this with a picture of one of the animatronic animals wearing a guitar strap that said “Dangerous.” It also tagged Morgan Wallen asking if it was “Quittin’ Time” yet. Seated on a stage with guitar in hand, alongside bandmates Dominic Frost and Tyler Tomlinson, the East Tennessean treated those in attendance to cuts from his ACM Album of the Year, Dangerous, including its title track, current single “Wasted on You,” No. 1s “More Than My Hometown” and If I Know Me’s “Chasin’ You.”

In tune with the crowd and exchanging lively banter, Wallen lamented his frustration that the University of Tennessee’s men’s basketball team had just lost minutes before taking the stage. Just days before, Wallen sported a Tennessee Volunteers’ shirt on stage Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena following the Vols’ win in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

The singer/songwriter also performed a solo/acoustic version of his Top 25 collaboration with ERNEST, “Flower Shops,” before closing the night with his No. 1 smash “Whiskey Glasses.”

In a statement Wallen has shared on the foundation’s website, he says the idea for the organization came out of his own family’s experience. “Since my parents fostered and now officially adopted my sister Lacey, I’ve witnessed what love and care can do for a child that didn’t have it before. She has transformed into a confident, trusting and happy kid,” he writes. “There are many elements that aid in the development and protection of an adolescent’s life, and that is why I created the foundation so a child’s resources are not limited due to their circumstances.”

In 2022, $3 from every ticket sold on his Dangerous Tour benefits More Than My Hometown Foundation. The three-night stop at Bridgestone last week alone raised over $120,000 that will be put into initiatives for adolescent development, resources and local communities.

ABOUT MORGAN WALLEN
The New Yorker dubbed Morgan Wallen “the most wanted man in country” in part due to the CMA Award Winner’s 9 billion on-demand streams, multi-platinum certifications and four consecutive chart-toppers, and in part due to his flyover appeal: “Bruce Springsteen meets Larry the Cable Guy.” The critically-acclaimed follow-up to his Double Platinum breakout If I Know Me, Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic Records), topped 2021’s all-genre Billboard 200 Albums year-end chart with 4.1 million units sold and sparked an in-demand 58-show THE DANGEROUS TOUR in 2022 that kicked off this February and sees the “Up Down” (2017), “Whiskey Glasses” (2018), “Chasin’ You” (2019), “More Than My Hometown” (2020), “7 Summers” (2020, named one of Time Magazine’s Best Songs of the Year) and “Sand In My Boots” singer playing two nights at Madison Square Garden and three nights at Bridgestone Arena. Working outside the traditional Nashville mainframe with producer Joey Moi, Hits Magazine notes, “Wallen continually colors outside the lines,” adding, in turn “he’s connected to his fans in ways unprecedented for a country star.” With over 800k tickets already sold for 2022 just 14-shows in, $3 from every ticket sold benefits the songwriter from East Tennessee’s More Than My Hometown Foundation.

Children of the Sün Release New Album 'Roots'

Sweden’s retro rockers Children of the Sün have released their new studio album, 'Roots'. The sextet's sophomore full length is a natural progression from their highly praised debut album 'Flowers'. While the sound is refined and structurally more direct, the Woodstock loving hippie-spirit of the band shines on the 13 new tracks from their new album. With a retro sound and soulful, multi-layered vocal harmonies, 'Roots' reflects a journey through life towards finding oneself; with songs about ups and downs, love and hate, light and darkness.

"On your journey through life, you grow like a tree. Everything that you have been, who you are right now and who you may become, once started with your roots."

'Roots' was recorded at Church Bay Records in Arvika, Sweden. It was mixed by the guitarist Jacob Hellenrud and mastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofon Studion (Graveyard, Soundtrack of our Lives, The Hives). The album cover was illustrated by Revolver Design, who has previously provided artwork for bands such as Alter Bridge, Louise Lemón, and Nephila.

'Roots' is out now via The Sign Records. The album is available in CD, vinyl, and digital formats.

Children of the Sün Bio:

Inspired by Janis Joplin, Rival Sons, and the free lovin’ spirit of 1969’s legendary Woodstock Festival, Children of the Sün embody both the carefree and reflective sides of classic rock music. Following their 2018 success in the Swedish music competition Livekarusellen, the band released a self-titled EP and later came under the wing of The Sign Records, joining acts such as Hällas, MaidaVale, Skraeckoedlan, and The Hawkins. In 2019 the band released their first full-length album Flowers which was received with great love from the audience and the vinyl sold out just a few months after the release.

The song “Her Game” from their debut album got chosen by the Swedish nationwide newspaper Aftonbladet on their list of best rock songs of 2019.

Since then the band has played on festivals and stages around Sweden including Arvika Hamnfest, Festival Of The Midnight Sun, Putte i Parken, The Sign fest and hosted their own show in a barn out in the woods together with drummer Björn Fryklund (Freak Kitchen) Earlier this year they supported Trummor & Orgel on their tour.

Jeremy Edge releases new single today "The World is Gone" with his band "The Jeremy Edge Project''

Jeremy Edge has released a new single "The World is Gone" with his band "The Jeremy Edge Project'', which will be the first sneak peak of "Coral Castles Vol 1 and 2" with an expected 2022 release.

This will mark the first offering since the debut "Jeremy Edge Project" album released in 2020. The debut record's "Firedancer" peaked at #22 on Billboard's Rock Indicator charts.

The World is Gone harkens to a more traditional blues ballad invoking Ray Charles inspired chord progressions and soulful singing but with blistering guitar work on the song's outro.
Unlike the previous offering Edge takes over vocal duties on this new album but will be recruiting more surprise guest players to add flavor to the album alongside bassist John Delowery and Drummer Ray Gieda. The album promises to offer more 70s inspired bluesy rock blended with soul, hard rock and other stylistic blends.

"I wanted to do something kinda stripped down that is a more traditional jazz / blues progression. We put the rhythm guitar, bass and drums in the room and just jammed this one and I wanted to really capture the sound of the room, like the band was playing in a small club. I approached this lyrically from the perspective of a couple who had big plans and dreams and had those disrupted by some of the events that happened in the world, thus changing all of those plans and creating a distance."

Jeremy will return to the studio this month with Grammy nominated producer/engineer Mike Feretti to finish work on the record.

The trio will be promoting the release with a string of dates in northern PA and NY state this summer, including appearances with Jackyl and Randy Hansen.

"The World Is Gone", will be available at all major streaming outlets and downloadable on March 18th.

ABOUT AVOID

Engaging, edgy, erratic, irreverent, wild, vibrant, fun… there’s certainly no shortage of adjectives to describe AVOID and their quest to fuel that feeling of being a part of something.

Evoking a nostalgia for the kind of music that seeps into your soul, the Seattle five-piece channel the musical legacy synonymous with their hometown while blissfully genre hopping to create something entirely new. Good times with a message of inclusivity, with a drive to bring passion, innovation and provocation back to heavy music and pull in the community around it, AVOID crackle with the energy of a young act ready to take the world by storm.

While the world fell silent in 2020, the band seized the moment to make noise with the release of their attention-grabbing EP The Burner - and it got LOUD. Securing a sponsorship with NASCAR, the band had their music and band-branded vehicle in the official video game. Singer Benny Scholl went viral with his accidentally acapella rendition of the National Anthem at the NASCAR Vegas race, endearing himself to sports commentator Jim Rome who ran with coverage of the event for weeks.

New tracks “COWABUNGA” and “Split (Kill It)” are the start of something important, something defining - and AVOID are bringing everyone along for the ride. Hold on tight, it’s about to get weird.

AVOID are:

Benny Scholl - Vocals

Nick Olson - Guitar

Chris Echols - Guitar

Luke Ryder - Bass

Paul Jaton - Drums

BLACK VOID INKS WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH NUCLEAR BLAST

Hard rock band WHITE VOID’s debut record “Anti” (also on Nuclear Blast) was one of last year’s most colorful and surprising releases, hailed by a collective metal press as an absolute whirlwind of occult rock and melodic new wave. But vocalist and band frontman Lars Are Nedland – also a long-time member of BORKNAGAR and SOLEFALD – clearly needed a contrast to all the color and flamboyance, and thus BLACK VOID forced itself into being. Not a band for waiting, the debut album "Antithesis" was recorded almost immediately and is set to be released through Nuclear Blast on May 27th - as a grimy contrast to WHITE VOID’s melodic outlet.

"Antithesis", then, is nihilistic aggression and desperation. Furious and unrepentant in attitude, it builds on the philosophical works of Friedrich Nietzsche while leaning on punk rock and black metal. Nihilistic, filthy, violent and raw.

Today, BLACK VOID premiere their frantic first single and music video 'Reject Everything'. Watch it below.
Get the single digitally here: https://bfan.link/BlackVoidRE

Lars Are Nedland comments: "You can only take so much colour and harmony in your life. This one’s for the gloom. For the fury. For the filthiness of existence. Nihilism tells us there are no grounds for morality or knowledge in life. So, what does that leave us? Nothing! Nihil! The only sensible reaction to that is to Reject Everything”.

Pre-order "Antithesis" in the format of your choice here: https://bfan.link/BVantithesis

BLACK VOID is a punk laden, black metal infused band spearheaded by Lars Are Nedland, and completed by drummer Tobias Solbakk (IHSAHN, WHITE VOID, IN VAIN) and guitarist Jostein Thomassen (BORKNAGAR, PROFANE BURIAL).

In many ways BLACK VOID is the flipside of WHITE VOID: A full-on rejection of the philosophy of Albert Camus and an endorsement of Friedrich Nietzsche, a full-on rejection of a soft, melodic approach to music and a full-on rejection of a playful, tongue-in-cheek attitude. With that as a backdrop, “Antithesis” becomes an album that pays respect to fifty years of punk and forty years of black metal – a musical equivalent of a punk with a Mohawk fighting a dude in corpse paint.

Add to that guest vocal appearances by black metal royalties Sakis Tolis of ROTTING CHRIST and Hoest of TAAKE, “Antithesis” appears as a statement of sorts: A nihilistic musical outburst flipping off morality and hailing aggression while at the same time forcing your foot to tap to its relentless drive

“Antithesis” was written and recorded between 2019 and 2021 and mixed and mastered by Øystein G. Brun at Crosound Studio.
Drums were engineered and recorded by Tobias Øymo Solbakk at Splinter Studios, while bass, vocals and keys were engineered and recorded by Lars Are Nedland at Mezzanine Studios.
Guitars were engineered and recorded by Jostein Thomassen at Riff Sheriff Studio and keys are played by Lars Are Nedland.

BLIND GUARDIAN - Discover The "Secrets Of The American Gods"

Mysteries darken the sky these days and only the bravest dare to lift the veil between the mere mortals and ominous forces lurking in the night: BLIND GUARDIAN tracked down the "Secrets Of The American Gods" and reveal their eponymous new single today!

The powerful, majestic new track comes with a performance video that was filmed during the recordings for the band's new album in the Twilight Hall Studios between March 2020 and 2021. Once again, the masterfully arranged artwork for the single was created by Andrea Christen. Watch the video below.

Singer Hansi Kürsch comments:
"The time has come to unveil another secret: With 'Secrets Of The American Gods', we proudly present you the epic side of our new album that's going to be released in September. This single edit focuses on the essence of this magnificent composition and gives you an insight into our creative work in these eventful times. The vivid construction of this song circles around its core, the monumental chorus - hopefully the "American Gods" worthy. A thoroughly felicitous ear candy, in my opinion. I promise you, it's not easy to get rid of the refrain. The tracks get completed with the fantastic making-of-clip that Dirk Behlau created. Enjoy the moment and keep the secret: Be assured that we still haven't played all our cards and still have some aces up our sleeves. Maybe no additional secrets but celestial surprises. Stay tuned!"

DAMPF Has Arrived - Listen To New Single "The Other Side"

New Album 'The Arrival' Coming June 3rd, 2022

”What is DAMPF?” you may ask. ”Who and what is behind these huge riffs, brutal metal, and catchy choruses?”

DAMPF is a supergroup of heavy metal royalty led by the almighty A-tron, whom you may know from his career as Martin ”E-Type” Erikson.

Many years ago, Martin had an idea to combine the power of dark metal and pop melodies. But it wasn’t until recently, when he was given a written assignment by Eye to write the songs for 3 albums in this spirit, that he realized that the time for this dream had arrived.

Martin gathered his most talented musician friends, and they have now completed their first single to make their message audible: the future is not history-less and the dead are not gone.

”Our new single, ‘The Other Side’, is about reconnecting and socializing with those who are no longer alive. In ancient times, the dead and the memory of the dead were treated in a more vivid way. You saw them in nature, in the clouds of heaven and the flames of an open fire. The dead were absent but not gone. Everyone has seen a ghost but no one has been beaten by one. They just look scary, are interesting and usually kind. Let them know that you believe in them. When you feel the other side - reach out. Let them know that you're there. And the great thing is that this song can be sung by both sides.” Martin says.

He continues, ”I had missed making new music for many years. A new song of E-type must be better than my old ones, which is so challenging that nothing was written at all. But when I received the letter from Eye, I was really happy and thought that now I can create something new that no one can compare with anything else. Not old or new, just simply DAMPF. I've been longing for distorted guitars since ‘Back in the Loop’ and ‘Free like a Flying Demon”, and now it's time. Although, the joy is obviously obscured by an inexplicable war in Europe. It's very sad, but the world needs new, strengthening music.”

On ”The Other Side”, DAMPF got a little extra juice from some friends:

”For ‘The Other Side’, we had the pleasure of being joined by my old friend and the eminent bassist in Bathory from the first wave of Black Metal, and my new friend, the incomparable lead guitarist Tommy Johansson from the great Sabaton.”

The amazing new video was made by Ted Lindén & A-tron.

The new album, ‘The Arrival’, will see a June 3rd, 2022 release via Gramaphone Records. The pre-order is available starting today

SETH Shares Live Performance for Song "La Morsure du Christ"

French black metal pioneers SETH are now releasing a brand new live videofor the song, "La Morsure du Christ," which was captured by Motocultor Festival TV show, L'Emission Live in June 2021. The track is taken from the bands latest album of the same name, which was released upon the masses in May 2021. The video can be seen below.

SETH will perform their ceremony across Europe this year! The full run of dates can be found below!

The band's new album 'La Morsure du Christ' is available HERE.

The history of black metal formation SETH and Season of Mist spans back to the early days of the French metal scene. The band’s debut ‘Les Blessures de L'Ame’ (1998) was one of the first releases on the label. This album is now regarded as a cornerstone in French black metal, pioneering the usage of their native tongue on a black metal record. SETH has lit up the flame of those early days again with ‘La Morsure du Christ’, which can be seen as sequel to the highly acclaimed debut.

The release of ‘Les Blessures de L'Ame’ quickly gained international attention and SETH built a solid fanbase. The French blasphemers signed a two-release deal with Osmose Productions and participated on the MAYHEM cult tribute album ‘Originators of the Northern Darkness’ alongside IMMORTAL and BEHEMOTH. The second full-length ‘The Excellence’ came out in 2000 and featured a contribution from none other than Fenriz (DARKTHRONE), who wrote the lyrics for the song ‘Let Me Be The Salt In Your Wound’.

Shortly after, the group recorded their third album ‘Divine-X’ (2002) at the Excess Studios in Rotterdam (EPICA, AFTER FOREVER, SINISTER). This record demonstrated the ability of the band to mix gloomy and violent atmospheres and received extensive coverage from the international metal press at the time.

Returning to the Netherlands to record the fourth album ‘Era-Decay’ (2004), two new members joined the ranks of SETH: vocalist Black Messiah and guitarist Cyriex. Afterwards, the band was invited to play at the prestigious Inferno festival in Norway in 2005.

A long hiatus followed, until the band returned in 2011 to play an exclusive show in Germany with the German cult act BETHLEHEM. The band re-joined the ranks of Season of Mist, eventually releasing ‘The Howling Spirit’ (2013) and embarking on a European tour with PESTILENCE. Several appearances at major festivals followed, including Hellfest and Graspop Metal Meeting, concluded by a Canadian headliner tour with new vocalist Saint Vincent (BLACKLODGE).

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘Les Blessures de L'Ame’ in 2018, SETHexclusively performed the entire album at festivals in Switzerland, Canada (Messe de Morts) and Belgium (Thronefest). The French label Les Acteurs de l'Ombre productions released a live recording of these shows, called ‘20 ans de Blasphème’. The band’s new line-up featured members of LOUDBLAST, ARKHON INFAUSTUS and MELTED SPACE.

With the flame of SETH burning strong again, the French black metallers started writing new material. On the new record ‘La Morsure du Christ’ (a double meaning title: literally « The Bite of Christ » and phonetically « Christ's death is certain »), they return to their original sound, employ French alexandrine verse in their lyrics and choose a striking image as an album art. The blazing inferno of the Notre-Dame de Paris is depicted on the cover, an event that shuddered the world on April 15, 2019. The release of the record marks the 2nd anniversary of the event.

It's a powerful picture that conveys the very essence of 'La Morsure du Christ.' In a world moving further away from religion and spirituality, the demise of this landmark symbolizes the end of the Christian reign and the ultimate betrayal of God. From the ashes of the cathedral, a godless world will come into being.

Literally translating to “an unwelcome” or “unacceptable” person, PERSONA NON GRATA touches on themes of modern societal disgust and degradation. The band gathered at Tom Hunting's house in the mountains where they produced and recorded Persona Non Grata from three home-built studios. Steve Lagudi was at the helm of engineering while the band enlisted Andy Sneap of Backstage Studios to mix the album. For the third time in the band’s history, they returned to Swedish artist Par Olofsson to create the album artwork.

Southern Rock Artist CAGE WILLIS Releases New Single “Who I Am” to all major platforms!

Southern rock artist Cage Willis has released a new single titled "Who I Am" to all major platforms. The single is from his full length album due out this summer! In support of the album release, Cage Willis will be playing a hometown show at Merchant Park in Mount Carmel, IL on May 14th.

“'Who I Am' is about knowing where you came from, being proud of it. It’s about workin hard for what you want in life, and most importantly believing in yourself" says Cage Willis.

Massive, in-your-face guitar tones, even wider drums, and full, out-front, honest vocals in “Who I Am” are typical of Willis’ sound. Chris Robertson of Black Stone Cherry produced the upcoming album, featuring "Who I Am". Ensuring a superior quality of sound and highest standards of production, the album was engineered by Jordan Westfall of Shaman's Harvest.

"Who I Am" can be streamed/downloaded at:

https://songwhip.com/cagewillis/who-i-am

Cage was born and raised in Mount Carmel, IL. While working with his father roofing and remodeling homes in Wabash County, he squeezed in required courses to graduate from the local community college at age 18. He started playing guitar at 13. Heavily influenced by Lincoln Brewster, Cage would play big, heart-wrenching guitar solos at area churches. His authentic sound began to emerge.

During the summer of 2017, Cage crossed paths with drummer Cameron Allen. Jamming on the likes of Gary Clark Jr.Chris Stapleton, and The Marcus King Band, the two knew that they wanted to continue to play together. They first performed in early 2019 as a two piece at a “Battle of the Bands” in Evansville, IN. Bass Guitarist Andrew Logan joined Cage and Cameron at the beginning of 2020. Today, they continue to perform together live at local venues, and opening for acts like The Cold Stares and Hairball. Cage released his first single "She Walked Away", in early 2021. Over the course of the year, Cage recorded and released Bones (Our Town), an EP. His first full length album, a 10-track album, will debut Summer 2022.

NIGHT CROWNED Release New EP and Share Visualizer Video! "Rebirth Of The Old" out now on Noble Demon!

Today, Sweden's very own Night Crowned release their brand new 4 track EP Rebirth Of The Oldvia Noble Demon. With their intoxicating blend of uncompromising blackened death metal, symphonic arrangements and dark, hypnotic soundscapes, Night Crowned have quickly made a name for themselves and this EP should be another powerful appetizer for a new album coming in the near future! In support of the new release, Night Crowned have shared a visualizer video for the track "Rex Tenebrae", which features Christian Älvestam (Ex -Scar Symmetry) on guest vocals.

The video can be seen below.

Night Crowned on Rebirth Of The Old:

"While you wait on the next Night Crowned album we give you ”Rebirth Of The Old”, a four track EP that contains three tracks of our latest album 'Hädanfärd', but with english vocals together with a cover of Old Man’s Child. The intention was to make 'Hädanfärd' a double album, one Swedish and one English version. Only one track was recorded in English before we decided to make the album only in Swedish. So we finished these last two songs now, again with awesome guest vocals by Christian Älvestam. We think the cover of Old Mans Child turned out great, but as we ended up with an all Swedish album it didn’t fit well on the album. So here it is, enjoy it while we keep our focus on writing and recording our upcoming album!"

Rebirth Of The Old is out now on Noble Demon and you can get it HERE

NIGHT CROWNED are:

Morgan Wallen Surprises Crowd Again: Brings Out “The Chief” Eric Church on Night 2 in Nashville

“It feels good to be here,” Morgan Wallen said, his first time addressing the at-capacity on -their-feet-crowd three songs in. “Last night we had a show and it was a really good crowd, but you guys are louder already.” The near-deafening crowd erupted as the Dangerous singer settled in for night two-of-three at Bridgestone Arena, an accomplishment that has him joining the ranks of just three other country acts to-date: Garth Brooks, Eric Church and Taylor Swift.

Amid pyro, dry ice and 86,000lbs. of production, Wallen slowed things down, making a point to connect the music and melodies with the moments that inspired them. “I don’t know if I ever wrote a song til I was 19 or 20,” Wallen revealed. “I used to write poems and stuff like that when I was in school… but really, I started singing when I was three years old. My momma threw me up on stage at church where my dad was a preacher at, and I’ve been singing ever since.”

Getting comfortable, he continued, “I guess I always knew I’d be singing. I always felt a connection to singing. I didn’t know if I could write songs or not. I started doing that in my parent’s garage on the workout weight bench,” he paused to laugh while adjusting his guitar. “I’d write a song then go in while my momma was cookin’ dinner or something and play it for her. I gotta give my mom credit, she didn’t always tell me I was good, which I appreciated.” Pausing to grin and note, “I got a real good momma, she’ll be here tomorrow night.

“This song,” he paused and said of his third No. 1, “Chasin’ You.” “…I moved to Nashville in July 2015 and wrote this in November or December, and I remember at the end of the day when I finished, we listened back and got really excited … and I thought ‘this is a good song – we got something special.’ I was just writing about something I’d been through. This song gave me a lot of encouragement and faith that I was doing the right thing, moving to Nashville, and I knew after we wrote this that I was gonna get to do this. I didn’t know how, and I didn’t know we’d sell out three nights at Bridgestone, but this song is special to me for a lot of reasons. Because of you guys, you made it a No. 1 on Country music radio.”

As Wallen approached midway “Quittin’ Time,” he looked to his left as the man who penned the song, Eric Church-- carrying his Chief-strapped Hummingbird guitar -- shocked the audience sauntering to center stage. After, Wallen shared, “If you’re a fan of me you know how big of a fan I am of this man right here, so I appreciate y’all coming out here.” Revealing that Church was on spring break and came back early to surprise the crowd on night two, the grinning North Carolinian jested, “I came a long way, we gotta do one more,” before the two collaborated on his career-defining cut off Carolina, “Smoke A Little Smoke.”

Whether joined on stage by special guests (HARDY, Larry Fleet or icon Eric Church), or working the stage with just a guitar/vocal like on “Cover Me Up,” Pollstar observes, “the winsome ‘Silverado For Sale’ suggests the way kids paying their own way pass it along and ‘Rednecks, Red Letters, Red Dirt’ offers truths that reach a little deeper than the field party or dive bar.” Last night, the St. Patrick’s Day crowd at Bridgestone got to experience both.

Carpenter Brut Releases New Single “The Widow Maker” Featuring Alex Westaway (Gunship) & Music Video , New Album Leather Terror Out April 1 Via Universal

Carpenter Brut

Releases New Single “The Widow Maker”

Featuring Alex Westaway (Gunship) &

Music Video Starring Actor Dylan Sprouse

See it below.

New Album Leather Terror

The Second Installment In The Leather Trilogy

Out April 1 Via Universal

Album Presales Available Now HERE

North America Tour Planned For Summer 2022

French synthwave icon Carpenter Brut has released his brand new single “The Widow Maker,” which features Alex Westaway of Gunship who lends his voice on the pummelling synth pop track. It’s the latest song to be taken from Carpenter Brut’s forthcoming album Leather Terror, out April 1 via Universal Music. The album is available to pre-order now HERE.

The dramatic video for “The Widow Maker” was directed by the Deka Brothers and stars actor Dylan Sprouse as Bret Halford aka Leather Teeth, the protagonist of Carpenter Brut’s album and singer of Leather Patrol.

Leather Teeth is a true rock star and a ruthless avenger, who inflicts vengeance on those who stand between him and what he desires. Bret flicks through the yearbook, and overcome by hallucinatory delirium, he fantasizes about getting his revenge on Kendra, the cheerleader he was madly in love with at high school, and the jocks she preferred. His desire for revenge ends up turning against him and he becomes haunted by the corpses of those he wishes to send to an early grave.

Speaking about the video collaboration, Dylan Sprouse says, “I sent Carpenter Brut a comic I made with a note that read, ‘As I've written the entirety of this comic series with your music on repeat, I felt it only natural to send you this. I owe it to you.’ That was the first time we communicated and I believe we found ourselves to have some shred of creative kinship in our different mediums since then.”

Sprouse adds, “Over a year of us chatting back and forth about finding an opportunity to collaborate on something together, he hit me with the idea to portray Bret Halford in a video of his with the Deka Brothers as directors. We chatted character, background, content and I was all in immediately. Especially because it gave me the opportunity to take out some aggression with an oversized buck knife and some confetti cannons after a few short days of filming, a lot of running, a lot of stabbing, a lot of spiked studs, platform boots and a sprained ankle during a ‘bad drug trip’ scene. I hope you all get as pumped up watching this as I was filming it. Long Live Bret Halford.”

Regarding the single, Carpenter Brut says, “While talking with a musician friend of mine, he said, ‘This song, it makes you want big guitars like Rammstein.’ Inwardly, I ruled out the guitar option, but for the vocals, his idea worked for me and I thought it would be cool to have a big industrial voice on this track, like Till Lindemann for example, but in the end I asked Alex Westaway (from Gunship) to sing on it. It's nothing like Lindemann vocally, but I love Alex’s androgynous register a la Brian Molko and what he did with the song.

“There was this interesting ambivalence, even paradoxical between the martial side of the music and Alex's voice, which is quite pop, which makes this track both industrial and synth pop. As usual with the singers I work with, I gave Alex a word or two, a theme, and then he came up with his own lyrics. I really like this song, because for me it's Carpenter Brut with a mainstream feel.”

“The Widow Maker” follows the release of Leather Terror’s lead single and colossal synthrock anthem “Imaginary Fire” earlier this year, which features guest vocals from Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Leather Terror is the second in Carpenter Brut’s Leather album trilogy, the next chapter following his widely acclaimed 2018 album Leather Teeth. That album featured in numerous Best Album lists across the board of rock, alternative and electronic music that year. Kerrang championed the mysterious French artist as one of the Best Live Bands On Earth whilst Carpenter Brut was also honoured as a performer at the Metal Hammer awards.

While Leather Teeth was in part a celebratory take on ‘80s glam rock, in his new opus, Carpenter Brut – across the space of twelve tracks – gets more malevolent, documenting the rise of his protagonist as a serial killer who wants to take revenge on all those who mistreated him when he was younger.

Leather Terror reflects both a serial killer, and an artist, in their prime: Bold and daring while full of shock and awe, creating a true spectacle out of great darkness with a flamboyant disregard for rules.

Carpenter Brut will also be returning to North America this summer with a series of 13 tour dates announced for the U.S. and Canada, kicking off August 18 in Los Angeles and running through September 3 in Silver Spring, Maryland.

About Carpenter Brut

Carpenter Brut draws its influences from ‘80s TV shows and B-movies loaded with synthesizers. The mysterious and discreet man evokes an encounter between Justice beats and the universe of John Carpenter. The French act pays tribute to the post-hippie/pre-AIDS culture that then set the basis of electro and metal to give us a unique, violent and crazy ‘80s revival sound. Over the last decade he built a successful career, as a major act from the darksynth scene. He has toured the world with acts like Ghost and Ministry and performed at well-known festivals such as Coachella & SXSW, and has accumulated 366 million streams of his music worldwide.

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER - Present "Wilde Kinder – The Movie - Eine Gebrauchsanleitung zur Freiheit"!

Germany’s most spectacular band is Weimar’s DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER. The band whose name translates as “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” brandish a unique brand of melodic heaviness, accompanied by one-of-a-kind, intense lyrics. Since forming back in 1995, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER has remained innovative and courageous, delivering a form of extreme metal that is second to none. In the artistic realm of the Weimar-based quartet, there are no rules - anarchy, a free flow of ideas where vision reigns supreme!
With a highly supportive and engaged following at their side, they achieved #10 in Germany’s official charts with their album Der Rote Reiter. The band has played every major metal festival and countless fans have succumbed to “Reitermania” – which is the wild and crazy experience that only DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER can provide.

The band is currently getting ready to release Wilde Kinder (=“Wild Children”), their new album due out on April 22, 2022 - the official successor to Der Rote Reiter (2017)!

Today, they announce another huge project - their very own film "Wilde Kinder - The Movie - Eine Gebrauchsanleitung zur Freiheit" (="Wild Children - The Movie - A Guide To Freedom"), which true to the concept of their upcoming album explores how one can be truly free in these modern times.

How can one escape this collective madness? How can one live their best life without fear? And how can one record a new album despite all that chaos?

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER strike a balance between hectic business and relaxation. Going back and forth between wanderlust, a sense of freedom, and professionalism.

On his journey into the deep, deep forest, singer Fuchs meets some quite remarkable personalities. People who are seeking a new start, or just want to leave behind their old life, depending on the point of view. But either way, all of them are wild children. Narrated with humor, the lines between musicians and dropouts blur.

Catch the movie's premiere on March 29th at 20:00 CET HERE

This movie is not built on clichés and requires total attention. But ideally, it will serve as a guide towards freedom.

First movie, production & direction: Fuchs (DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER)
Recently, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER presented their brand new single "Euer Gott Ist Der Tod" (= 'Your God Is Death'). A harbinger of the apocalypse – where death and darkness unite in an invincible alliance. An epic masterpiece! Centre stage as a shining angel amongst the pitch-black chaos is former DEADLOCK singer Sabine Scherer.

Watch the video HERE

"Mors et nox in concordia invicta – United are Death and Night in the invincible alliance. So shall it be - until the last sound is gone, all regret is washed away and the old earth is hanging dead in the sky." // (DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER)

Recently, the band announced "The March For Freedom", a special worldwide streaming event, which will celebrate the release of their new album and is set to be the ultimate experience of Reitermania’s live power!

For the first time ever, the band will perform not only fan favorites but also brand new songs from their upcoming album Wilde Kinder. Fans from all over the world will have the chance to join this unique online event, that will take place via https://live4you.net/reitermania

On January 21st, BATTLE BEAST unleashed their brand new masterpiece "Circus of Doom," via Nuclear Blast. In true BATTLE BEAST fashion, the 10 tracks blend true heavy metal with pop and rock-vibes, paired with Noora Louhimo’s unique voice.

Since its release, the album has entered the charts worldwide, including #1 in their homecountry Finland, #5 in Switzerland and #9 in Germany.

Kenny Chesney's Rising TIDE: No Shoes Reefs Featured in Coastal Conservation’s Association Mag

KENNY CHESNEY’S RISING TIDE
No Shoes Reefs is Featured in Coastal Conservation Association’s Mag
Two-Page Spread Highlights Eight-Time Entertainer of the Year’s Commitment
& Efforts to Protect the Health of Coastal Waters

(Somewhere on the Water) – While it’s been a quiet time for No Shoes Nation, Kenny Chesney has invested some of the time leading up to prep for the finally-launching Here And Now 2022 Tour in his various other projects. No Shoes Reefs, which has been integral in various projects in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Maryland and Connecticut, has been expanding its reach to support other organizations sharing its vision and efforts.

For Chesney, who’s quietly helped steward the growth and implementation of reef balls to spur the growth of habitats friendly to sea life, the work – and accompanying support of his passionate No Shoes Nation – is its own reward. Not something done for attention, strengthening the ecosystem in tangible ways was always the end game.

The Coastal Conservation Association has other ideas. In their direct-to-members magazine TIDE, they dedicated two pages to the man the LA Times crowned “The People’s Superstar.” The piece documents several of No Shoes Reef’s initiatives, sharing photos and explaining some of the process behind the various means to regenerate water life in torpid waters.

“I don’t do this for anything more than to give back,” Chesney explains. “Because of what the ocean has given me, it’s the least I can do. Because so many in No Shoes Nation share that love with me, it’s a way they can give back – and also an entryway for those who want to get involved. Beyond the actual projects, No Shoes Reefs is about raising awareness – and it’s about being a place to share knowledge that isn’t always easy to find on your own.”

Originally established in 2015, Chesney teamed with the Building Conservation Trust to create artificial reefs in places where degradation undermined healthy reefs, which provide living habitat for many kinds of sea life. Working at a grassroots level with the Coastal Conservation Association, 18 months after submerging their first two structures, Chesney and CCA President Pat Murray heard the fish finders and depth censors go crazy as they floated over the locations on the St. John River.

Starting with that moment on the St. John River, TIDE traces the evolution of Chesney’s dynamic charity outreach. Putting faces and the equipment used to create these regenerative miracles forward, the publication takes dry concepts and adds an element of humanity and action to work that happens largely underwater.

The piece also provides access to some of the SPF-protection t-shirts that carry No Shoes Reefs images. As the insider’s shirt for members of No Shoes Nation, finding these items isn’t as simple as buying something at the merch stand at one of Chesney’s shows.

With the ongoing grassroots effort dedicated to the health of the ocean, making a difference in the environment remains a priority for the songwriter/superstar. Targeting local waters, No Shoes Reefs focuses on single reefs at the community level.

“We don’t always realize how a small thing can have a major impact,” Chesney says. “Knowledge makes a difference. Local efforts are critical. I’m honored to be recognized by TIDE, and ready for the next wave of projects that are already coming together.”

Decapitated - Announce New Album Cancer Culture

Upon the release of 2017’s AnticultMetal Hammer declared DECAPITATED a serious successor to the likes of Pantera and Lamb Of God – a band who can draw new legions into the metal world as its new champions.”

Today, the band is happy to announce their diverse follow-up, 2022’s Cancer Culture for May 27th an album that delivers on that promise.

Instantly recognizable devastation and deceptively sinister hooks abound. Freshly minted DECAPITATED anthems, like the title track Cancer Culture, shimmer with sonically sharp production and unrelenting bombast.

Waclaw ‘Vogg’ Kieltyka on the first single:
"It wasn't easy to pick the first single from Cancer Culture. Each song has this different vibe that we would like to show as soon as possible and be proud of. Since 'Cancer Culture' is the first song from the album, we decided that this would be the perfect way to introduce you to new music. It is the album's opening chapter, and you know, what you can expect. "

Mastermind Vogg continues:
"Finally, after so many months of waiting, we got it. The announcement of our brand new album Cancer Culture and a new single is on!
The expectations were high, and we also gave ourselves a massive challenge with this album. But I think hard work pays off.
We had an opportunity to gather amazing people who took care of the production and helped us deliver the best we could with this album.
Again,
Jarek Szubrycht (Carnival is Forever) has written amazing lyrics for us about the disproportion between the dreams, ambitions, and aspirations of humanity. The leading engineer of the album was Tomasz Zed Zalewski (Anticult), David Castillo, responsible for mixing the album, and Ted Jensen for the final touch for mastering. For the cover, for the first time, we have worked with Fabio Timpanaro, an Italian artist whose art perfectly describes what we wanted to tell through visual art.

Don't misinterpret the title meaning of the album. It has a much broader context. You will be surprised at what we have delivered this time."

Cancer Culture comes in many beautiful formats that make every fan's heart beat faster!

A La Porte, Texas native, Worthington brings a lot of life and red dirt country to the line-up.

“Fans have shown up in ways I never dreamt,” Wallen adds. “Because of them, and because of the faith and support a lot of folks have had in me over the years, we’re gonna get to do this Texas.”

Working outside the traditional Nashville mainframe with producer Joey Moi, Hits Magazine notes, “Wallen continually colors outside the lines,” adding, in turn “he’s connected to his fans in ways unprecedented for a country star.” With over 800k tickets already sold for 2022 just 13-shows in, $3 from every ticket sold benefits the songwriter from East Tennessee’s More Than My Hometown Foundation.

ABOUT HARDY
Big Loud Records’ booming upstart HARDY broke new ground with his critically acclaimed 2020 debut album, A ROCK, “an album that owes as much to AC/DC as George Jones” and “one of the most self-assured full-length debut albums in years” (Billboard). The project joins countrified mixtape HIXTAPE VOL. 1 and most-recent HIXTAPE VOL. 2, as well as career-launching EPs THIS OLE BOY and WHERE TO FIND ME. HARDY is the 2022 ACM Songwriter of the Year and the 2020 AIMP Songwriter of the Year, additionally nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 2021 CMA Awards. One of CRS’ 2021 New Faces of Country Music, a CMA Triple Play award recipient and a Vevo DSCVR artist, the pride of Philadelphia, MS has earned his reputation as "a breakout in the making" (HITS). HARDY has co-penned TEN #1 singles since 2018, including his own chart-topping, double platinum-certified single “ONE BEER” feat. Lauren Alaina + Devin Dawson. Current Top 15 hit “GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL” is a hard-charged tribute to a fallen friend, the most-added single of the week at country radio upon launch. Serving as direct support on Morgan Wallen's Dangerous Tour now, HARDY has also opened for Jason Aldean, FGL, Chris Lane, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell and more.

ABOUT MIKE RYAN
Mike Ryan is a San Antonio, TX born singer/songwriter who has accumulated fans across the US and throughout the world with powerful, whiskey smooth vocals and well-crafted lyrics. His thoughtful writing style evokes emotion and plants the audience inside his songs. Mike has garnered an impressive 200 million career streams to date with 26 of his songs racking up over one million streams each and 13 of those with over 5 million streams. The emerging singer-songwriter’s music has been featured by Apple Music’s Breaking Country Playlist, Pandora’s Artist To Watch, SiriusXM “The Highway,” Austin City Limits, and he performed during a special broadcast live from the White House. The thoughtful lyricist, vocalist, and guitarist co-wrote Brad Paisley’s Top 20 “Last Time For Everything.”

ABOUT JAKE WORTHINGTON
A La Porte, Texas native, Jake Worthington is a traditionally influenced country artist whose honky-tonk stylings first impressed fans as a finalist on NBC’s The Voice (2014). Following his time on the show, the singer-songwriter released a pair of EPs (2015’s Jake Worthington and 2017’s Hell of a Highway), which featured tracks like “How Do You Honky Tonk,” “Don’t Think Twice,” and “A Lot of Room to Talk,” tallying over eight million on-demand streams while the red dirt country star toured alongside Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Pat Green and more. Now signed to Big Loud Records, Worthington dropped HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 collaboration “Jonesin’” with Ronnie Dunn and Jake Owen as he gears up for his own full-length debut.
