ACM Lifting Lives®, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music® hosted Topgolf Tee-Off & Rock On Presented by Canteen Spirits Sunday, March 6 at Topgolf Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Headliner Luke Bryan was joined by Jordan Davis, ACM New Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year winner Lainey Wilson, rising star Erin Kinsey, Spotify “Hot Country Artist to Watch” Ian Munsick, multi-Platinum singer and songwriter Chase Rice, dynamic trio Restless Road and ACM New Male Artist of the Year nominee Elvie Shane. The fundraising event leading into Monday’s 57th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Prime Video and on IMDb TV attracted artists, industry and fans competing for a cause. With generous donations and the support of artists, fans and sponsors Canteen Spirits, Aristocrat Gaming, Ashley HomeStore, Molson Coors and 1000 Stories Wine, monies raised for ACM Lifting Lives will continue its mission to make a difference through music.

“We truly have the best artists and industry in the world,” shared ACM Lifting Lives’ Executive Director Lyndsay Cruz. “In March of 2020, the live music industry shut down: tour buses stopped, the lights went out and people who work so hard to make live events happen lost their jobs overnight. Here we are, two years later and because of this industry, we were able to help the people who were affected the most – the people who take your tickets, the people who drive the buses, the people who hang the lights. In the last two years, we have distributed almost $4 million dollars thanks to artists donating their time and brands seeing the value in aligning for a cause. We are back and that’s worth celebrating.”

Topgolf Tee-Off & Rock On has become a fan-favorite awards-week event as it features a reimagined golf tournament experience that brings artists, industry members and fans together. At the tournament’s conclusion multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Scotty McCreery was named overall winner for the third consecutive year.

Just hours later at a casino across the boulevard, Breland, Jordan Davis, Hardy, Dustin Lynch, Scotty McCreery, Tenille Townes, Caitlyn Smith, Conner Smith and Lainey Wilson took the stage at House of Blues for Hangover Fest 2022, hosted by comedian Dusty Slay, where this year’s leading ACM nominee Chris Young made a personal donation to Lifting Lives after a surprise appearance.

During the 57th ACM Awards ceremony on Monday evening, ACM Lifting Lives and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital were highlighted as two organizations creating meaningful impact in the country music community. Additionally, reigning and three-time Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne donated their hand-painted Gibson guitars immediately following their show-stopping performance of “Skeletons.” Fans can be a part of ACM history and support the mission of ACM Lifting Lives by bidding on the performance guitars now on Charity Buzz to benefit ACM Lifting Lives.

“Music is the ultimate unifier,” adds Cruz. “When times get tough, it’s the songs that get us through, so to come together through Country music to give to organizations truly making a difference is so powerful. We feel so fortunate to have the support of our artist community and cannot thank them and their teams enough for lending their voices to lift up others.”

About Jordan Davis
A Native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jordan Davis graduated from LSU and briefly pursued the path of his degree working as an environmental consultant; however, his passion for music and songwriting eventually compelled him to move to Nashville in the summer of 2012. In 2018, MCA Nashville’s Jordan Davis released his Gold-certified debut album, Home State, which features his three consecutive No. 1 hits: Platinum-certified “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot,” the Double Platinum-certified “Singles You Up” and Platinum-certified “Take It From Me.” In 2019 Davis won Best New Country Artist at the iHeart Radio Music Awards and was a two-time nominee for ACM New Male Artist of the Year. He was also named Billboard’s Top New Country Artist of 2018 as well as Country Aircheck/Mediabase’s Most Heard New Artist of 2018. Davis has since accumulated over 2 billion streams worldwide. The hitmaker released a six-song, self-titled EP featuring a collaboration with pop superstar Julia Michaels titled “Cool Anymore.”

In May 2021, Davis released his new eight-song EP, Buy Dirt. Davis co-wrote every song on the EP except for the John Prine-inspired “Blow Up Your TV,” who Davis cites as one of his most important influences on his life and music. The EP features country superstar Luke Bryan, who lends his vocals on the vulnerable title track and centerpiece of the EP. Davis earned four ACM nominations for the upcoming awards show including nods for Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year with his fourth No. 1 Platinum-selling single, “Buy Dirt.” With “Buy Dirt,” Davis also received his first ever CMA nomination for Musical Event of the Year. Davis has performed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” NBC’s “TODAY,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and more. Davis has toured with Kane Brown, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Jake Owen, Kip Moore, Old Dominion and more. This spring, he hits the road for the second leg of his Buy Dirt Tour including his headlining debut at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

About Lainey Wilson
“One of Country music’s most promising young stars” (Whiskey Riff), Lainey Wilson has earned the enthusiasm of the industry, having been named to nearly every “Artist to Watch” list, winning MusicRow Magazine’s Discovery Artist of the Year award and being crowned Billboard’s “Top New Country Artist of 2021,” the Louisiana native is one of Nashville’s hottest and most buzzed-about new artists. Landing her first No. 1 with her Platinum-certified “Things A Man Oughta Know,” nearly 10 years to the day after leaving her small farming community in a camper trailer to chase her dreams, she has won over legions of fans with her signature Bell Bottom Country sound and aesthetic, which blends traditional Country with a modern yet retro flare. A prolific and sought-after songwriter (having co-writer credits on songs by artists including Luke Combs, Flatland Calvary and more), Lainey is a fresh, fierce voice in Nashville, delivering one of the “Top Country Albums of 2021” (Rolling Stone, Taste of Country, American Songwriter and more) with her label debut with BBR Music Group/Broken Bow Records, Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’. With a rockstar stage presence, her artistry has taken her across the globe, performing for sold-out crowds throughout the U.S., U.K. and Germany with notable names like Jason Aldean, Hardy, Justin Moore, Tyler Farr, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser, Josh Turner and more. Her current single, “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell, is Top 20 at Country Radio and continuing to make a fervent climb up the charts.
