Floating Leaf Entertainment Joins Red Light Management

Floating Leaf Entertainment, the artist management company founded by Jeb Hurt based in Austin, Texas, has joined Red Light Management, bringing its growing roster — including multi-platinum artist Koe Wetzel, Kolby Cooper, Fox & Vead and others — into the global management company founded by Coran Capshaw.

The partnership marks a significant new chapter for Floating Leaf, pairing Hurt’s artist-first approach and track record of developing distinctive talent with Red Light’s expansive global infrastructure, relationships and resources across music, touring, brand partnerships and entertainment.

Under the new partnership, Floating Leaf’s artists will have access to the scale and breadth of Red Light’s worldwide team while continuing to benefit from the hands-on management and creative vision that have defined Hurt’s work. The alliance also creates new opportunities for Floating Leaf to expand its roster and reach while tapping into Red Light’s decades of experience building enduring careers across genres and markets.

“This is about taking what we’ve built at Floating Leaf and giving it an even bigger runway,” said Hurt, Founder of Floating Leaf Entertainment. “We’ve always been incredibly focused on the artist — who they are, what makes them different and how we can help build a career around that. Red Light has an incredible history of doing the same thing at a global level. To bring those philosophies together, with the people and resources they have behind them, is really exciting. I couldn’t be more proud of what our team and artists have accomplished to get us here, and I’m even more excited about what comes next.”

For Red Light, the addition of Floating Leaf further expands its presence in a rapidly evolving country and roots music landscape while bringing Hurt’s emerging management platform into its broader ecosystem.

“Jeb has built something special at Floating Leaf,” said Ben Kline of Red Light Management. “He has an incredible instinct for artists and has earned the kind of trust that you can’t manufacture. Koe, Kolby, Fox & Vead and the rest of the roster are a reflection of that. We’re excited to bring the full breadth of Red Light to the table — our people, our relationships, our global reach and all of the opportunities that come with being part of this organization. There’s a lot of momentum around these artists, and we’re thrilled to be part of their careers.”

The partnership comes at a period of continued growth for Floating Leaf and its roster. Hurt has helped guide Wetzel’s trajectory from Texas-rooted breakout to one of country music’s most prominent arena entertainers, while continuing to develop a roster built around artists with distinct voices and long-term potential.

Now, with the combined strength of Floating Leaf and Red Light, the company is positioned to broaden those opportunities across the global music marketplace.

“This isn’t about changing what Floating Leaf is,” Hurt added. “It’s about having more at our fingertips to serve the artists we believe in. We’ve got the opportunity to dream a little bigger, move a little faster and think globally about what’s possible. That’s a pretty exciting place to be.”
