JACK FROST’S BROTHERS IN ARMS RELEASE LATEST SINGLE AND VIDEO FOR “MAKE YOU MINE”, FEATURING KEITH ST JOHN

JACK FROST’S BROTHERS IN ARMS RELEASE LATEST SINGLE AND VIDEO FOR “MAKE YOU MINE”, FEATURING KEITH ST JOHN (MONTROSE, KINGDOME COME, BURNING RAIN) ON VOCALS. THE DEBUT ALBUM ‘SUNSET AND CLARK’ WAS RELEASED LAST YEAR THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT.

Brothers In Arms is the brainchild of guitarist/composer Jack Frost (Savatage, Seven Witches, Lizzy Borden, etc…), who along with several recruited iconic rock brothers, has made it his mission to prove rock music will never die. The guys unified to take a stand against the doubters and cynics who have claimed that it's simply not possible to resurrect this celebrated music in which so many lasting and fond memories were built around. Banding together, Jack & the Brothers forged ahead with one main goal: To make quality music that would both represent and immortalize the days of the sold-out legendary rock venues, to show the world that rock is not just a thing of the past.

The Brothers are back with their latest single and video for the track “Make You Mine”. The song was written by Keith St John and Angel keyboardist Charlie Calv, and also features a guest solo by Dave Amato of REO Speedwagon, Keith had this to say about it “Twas a thrill having playboy playmate Katie play the long lost homebound flame in the new Brothers in Arms video for "Make You Mine! At a time when COVID restrictions were at an all time high I think we got lucky and hopefully portrayed the essence of "spouse on the rock n roll road" while happenstance gave us accidental guest stars like Andrew Freeman, Britt Lightning, and many others! The biggest challenge was having only myself on set and Katie for just an hour while shooting on location and trying to keep it feeling fresh! Charlie Calv's keyboard riff performance as well as Dave Amato’s blazing axe were both shot remotely to helping build the stage for this iconic beauty! Pat Benatar’s bassist Mic Mahan 100% slays as the fortress for us all...and I hail Jack Frost for masterminding this song, this record, and including me as part of an amazing new refreshing collection of real deal killer rock music that digs way down!” Charlie continues, “Jack had asked me to contribute some songs to the album and I just happened to have this musical idea I was working on so I sent over a demo of it and was really thrilled with the way it came out, the guys did a great job and Keith really just nailed the vibe and wrote some great melodies and lyrics to it”.

BROTHERS IN ARMS RELEASE THE SECOND SINGLE AND VIDEO FROM THEIR FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM SUNSET AND CLAR

BROTHERS IN ARMS RELEASE THE SECOND SINGLE AND VIDEO FROM THEIR FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM SUNSET AND CLARK. “BITCH IS CRAZY” IS OUT NOW AND FEATURES KEITH ST JOHN (MONTROSE, KINGDOME COME, BURNING RAIN) ON VOCALS.

Their second single and video for “Bitch Is Crazy” is out on now and features Jack along with vocalist Keith St John (Montrose, Kingdome Come, Burning Rain), drummer Karl Wilcox (Diamond Head), and bassist Alex Jansen (Hardline). Keith had this to say about his involvement, “Me and Jack Frost share a common affinity for the late, great Ronnie Montrose, and I think thats how we started talking a few years back. In like half a second, I knew that he was a straight up NY/NJ guy, so we got along (as if we were kindred bro’s) immediately.

Jack sent a me a few tracks to try out, to contribute to an upcoming record he was working on, & when I heard the one that’s now “Bitch”, I knew it was a chaotic oddball, but it had such the outstanding presence of being a live band in a room. So I called Jack and said, ‘Can ya leave everything just as it is? Like with no quantization & no fixes of any sort?...like leave it raw?’ Well, Jack was already WAY on that same page, and I knew I would be happy. I also knew I had my work cut out for me, having to drop a strong hook into this loco little oddball!
‘Brothers’ is what Jack has made it feel like all the way through…but I think that’s just Jack, for real! Other fine musician ‘brothers’ of mine that played with me on this record are Mick Mahan (Pat Benatar), who spent a few years in Montrose with Ronnie & me back in the day, and Dave Amato (REO Speedwagon), who plays in the Ronnie Montrose Remembered (RMR) festivals with me. Dave & I have also performed in some live streams together such as with Monsters of Rock, in both KSJ & Friends & Stairway to Zeppelin. My singing brothers from another mother lol, who I'm ecstatic to hang on the same record with, yet had no idea about when I was fashioning my tracks, are Andrew Freeman and Paul Shortino, who both have killed at the RMR Festivals. Both are also Rock Vault vets, who have really helped me whenever I went out to do that show with them. For me, there couldn't have been a better title for this record.”

“BROTHERS IN ARMS” ARE SET TO RELEASE THEIR DEBUT ALBUM FEATURING MEMBERS OF SAVATAGE, DIAMOND HEAD, KINGD

mail-122.jpeg

THE COLLECTIVE THAT IS “BROTHERS IN ARMS” ARE SET TO RELEASE THEIR DEBUT ALBUM THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT. FEATURING MEMBERS OF SAVATAGE, DIAMOND HEAD, KINGDOM COME, LAST IN LINE, FM, ANGEL, MOXY, AND MANY MORE!

Borthers In Arms is the brainchild of guitarist/composer Jack Frost (Savatage, Seven Witches, Lizzy Borden, etc…), who along with several recruited iconic rock brothers, has made it his mission to prove rock music will never die.

Their first single and video for “Last To Know” will be out on August 20th and features Jack along with vocalist Andrew Freeman (Last In Line, Lynch Mob, Hurricane), drummer Karl Wilcox (Diamond Head), bassist Alex Jansen (Hardline) and keyboardist Charlie Calv (Angel). Jack had this to say about the track, “Well, I was listening to the debut from Badlands, & realized that I just always loved Jake’s tone and feel on that album…& let’s be honest, Ray Gilllan was a god among gods…So with that in mind, I kept hearing this riff and it took me like 3-4 days to find the balance between that classic rock sound and the feel of today. When it was done I was like, “Man, this feels so good…”I sent the track to Karl and sure enough, he put his Bonzo feel to it and yeah, just Wow! Then Alex’s bass was added & it was so brutal that it really made it drive. Charlie’s keyboards came next & gave it a total John Lord vibe with that iconic Hammond B3 tone, & it just blew me away. Finally the task of who can sing this & write the words & a hook was up. Andrew immediately came to my mind because I love the Last In Line albums. Andrew’s power and melodies are spine tingling to say the least. His ability to compose lyrics is amazing & his tone is so classic. The hook he wrote was killer, & it made me want to hear it over and over again. I’m just so honored that I’m a part of this monster track…”, Andrew continues, “Jack and I have been threatening to work on a project together for a long time. That being said I’m very excited to be involved with “Brothers in Arms” project. The songs we wrote have a lot of the elements that made me want to make music my life. Pulling from mutual influences, that I would like to hear more of in today’s rock music, we created a some timeless anthems. Pure rock fury for the masses! “
