It is difficult to sum up in few words the history and influence in the history of rock music that an act like Nazareth has had. Having celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2018 with the release of their 24th studio album, “Tattooed On My Brain”, the long-running UK hard rockers will enter their 54th year of existence in 2022 with the release of their 25th studio album, "Surviving The Law". The line-up for "Surviving The Law" is the same as the previous release, consisting of Jimmy Murrison (longest serving guitarist in the band’s history), Lee Agnew (drummer since Darrel Sweet’s death in 1999), Pete Agnew (founding member, on bass) and vocalist Carl Sentance.

"Surviving The Law '' continues the new chapter that started for the band in 2018 with the arrival of vocalist Carl Sentance. In 2014, original singer Dan McCafferty had to leave the band for health reasons and with his blessing, Sentance began fronting Nazareth. "Tattooed On My Brain" saw Nazareth a rejuvenated band with a hard rocking album that had all the ingredients that make this band so great in the first place. As with "Tattooed On My Brain", "Surviving The Law" was produced by Yann Rouiller at Sub Station in Scotland. The album features songwriting by all band members and continues the trend established with the previous album, showing that 25 albums into their career, the fire of rock 'n roll still burns as bright as ever at the core of Nazareth.

Nazareth originally formed in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1968, releasing their eponymous debut album in 1971. The band broke big when, after supporting Deep Purple on tour, they released the Roger Glover-produced “Razamanaz” album in early 1973 to critical and fan acclaim. They then released an impeccable string of hit records, including “Loud 'N’ Proud”, “Rampant”, and the smash hit "Hair of the Dog", which was released in April 1975. The album included evergreen songs such as the title track (later covered by Guns N’ Roses on their “The Spaghetti Incident?” album) and “Love Hurts”. The band has continued to release albums and tour the globe since, coming up on their 54th year of existence in 2022!Get ready for a very welcomed return from Nazareth!

British indie pop artist 22 Oceans presents their new single 'Home', a beautiful slice of Americana-tinged minimalist electronica previewing their new 5-track 'Home' EP,slated for release on February 22 via 72rpm Records and mastered by renowned producer Marc Joy (Primal Scream, Mike Peters, Oasis, Bernard Butler, Golden Fable, Louise Trehy) at Ferndale Studios in Wales.

Since emerging on the indie music scene in 2020, 22 Oceans has been presenting a steady string of new music. While influenced by 80’s influenced synthpop, their new single brings this artist into new territory while retaining their trademark ethereal vocals.

Based in Merseyside, this project is the brainchild of Mike Guy.While originally a solo project, 22 Oceans has blossomed into a fruitful trio, graced by the vocal and songwriting talents of twin sisters Carys and Keeley Hughes, whose stellar tandem of vocal harmonies complement a backdrop of lush, layered sounds.

'Home' follows up the singles 'Drifting' and 'Broken' feat. Jo Madden, both of which were released in 2021. The early 2020 'Butterfly Candy' EP saw Mike Guy collaborate with Wales-based dreampop artist Lights That Change, while the subsequent 'Paradise' EP featured Liverpool vocalist Rachael Dunn and also involved Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark (OMD) co-founder and drummer Malcolm Holmes.

"The song 'Home' was inspired by ideas about returning to the comfort of your home, which doesn’t necessarily have to be a place, but rather the people who have made a large impact on your life," says Mike Guy.

"The song is rooted in the feeling of happiness you feel when thinking about the memories you’ve made with people you enjoy spending time with. It is a reflection of how we are always connected to those we love, no matter how much time may have passed."

As of February 22, 'Home' and the full 'Home' EP will be available across online stores and streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify. It can also be obtained directly from the artist via Bandcamp.

SOMALI YACHT CLUB Reveals New Album, Premieres New Single

Psychedelic stoner rock trio SOMALI YACHT CLUB will be releasing their third full-length, 'The Space,' on April 22 via Season of Mist, making it the band's debut to the label! SOMALI YACHT CLUB is a moniker designed to represent dichotomy and variance. Named after the real-life pirates who attack vessels off the Somalian coast and the peaceful leisure of those with time to kill and money to burn, SOMALI YACHT CLUB musically embodies the boundless, wide-open, quiet/loud spaces that atmospheric post-rock and metal occupy. After over a decade of mesmerizing audiences in their Ukrainian home base and Eastern Europe, SOMALI YACHT CLUB inked a deal with Season of Mist in 2021 to reissue their back catalogue and release their third full-length, The Space.

The band’s story began in 2010 when guitarist/vocalist Ihor sent drummer Lesyk a random message on a Ukrainian musician’s forum to play a hybrid of math rock, post-hardcore, stoner and post-metal. Intrigued, Lesyk called bassist Artur to create the band’s first (and only) lineup. The initial jam sessions went so well that the trio decided to move forward on a permanent basis. Relying on albums such as Moccasin’s The Last Leaf, Ahkmed’s early EPs, Mars Red Sky’s self-titled, the entire Sungrazer discography and the legendary Isis duo of Oceanic and Panopticon, as well as Down, Electric Wizard, Queens of the Stone Age and now-labelmates Weedeater, the SOMALI YACHT CLUBsound was formulated.

“It was a very naive and simple time,” comments the band. “Ihor, as always, was full of energy and it was not enough for him for the bands in which he played at the time. We just started to jam and found the blend that fits all of us. Also, we always loved bands and particular songs that are eclectic — we get a lot of inspiration from such things. They are fun to play and hopefully fun to listen to.”

However broad and varied their influences may be, SOMALI YACHT CLUBstarted to forge their own path via their self-released 2011 Sandsongs and 2013 Desert Walls EP. The pair laid the groundwork for their formidable full-length debut, The Sun, which channeled spaced-out, psychedelic jams with churning stoner doom metal. Their amalgamation of all-things stoner continued through the 2015 Sun’s Eyes EP and 2018 The Sea full-length, the latter noted by The Sludgelord that it “succeeds in taking the listener on that well-known ride of warm tones and meandering melodies” and MetalStorm.net stating, “SOMALI YACHT CLUB offers up a fresh spin on a rich but well-explored genre and in doing so deliver one of the early highlights of 2018.”

The new year brings forth The Space. The album was tracked at various points throughout 2021 at Jenny Records near Lviv, Ukraine, with mixing and mastering courtesy of Yaroslav Tseluiko at Jaro Sound in the Czech Republic. The cover depicts a supernova and was handled by Dasha Pliska, who was also responsible for The Sun and The Sea artwork. The Space also completes the trilogy that began with The Sun and The Sea, but, according to the band, there is no unifying theme.

“It’s a bit hard to tell a real story in our music because, let’s be honest — it’s still more instrumental-focused. The Space is very loosely connected to a single concept as it has even more abstract and personal lyrical themes. Also, the song ‘Pulsar’ was the first written and named song for this album, so it set a path for the title.”

The Space finds SOMALI YACHT CLUB now in full expanse of their sonic elements, delivering six cuts of atmospheric post-rock/metal with dashes of melancholy and introspection. Ihor’s relaxed, if not smooth delivery runs parallel to his driving, fuzzed-out riffs that are dotted with traces of melody. The rhythm section of Artur and Lesyk is the undisputed anchor, maintaining a careful ebb and flow that embellishes songs that demand room to breathe and require texture and thoughtfulness — notably the 12-minute-plus closer, “Momentum,” which features one of the band’s finest jams to date. Such numbers resulted from SOMALI YACHT CLUB’s regular practice sessions that bore more than enough new material.

“We wrote The Space pretty much the same way as the previous two,” says the band. “We brought an idea or a riff to rehearsal, play and jam it a lot of times to see if it doesn’t go stale, record demos, listen, think, re-think, change everything and so on. This time we went to the studio with more than enough material — some even didn’t get a proper recording as we understood it needed even more time to mature and be reconsidered. Some ideas became an outtake; some songs were created right in the studio.”

Like their name serving a dual purpose, so does SOMALI YACHT CLUB’s output on The Space. The album contains a regular balancing act between heaviness and soft, clean guitar moments that will place SOMALI YACHT CLUB into the echelons of bands who have previously mastered the timeless art of dynamics. The Space is the perfect elixir in a time rife with uncertainty, menace and chaos. Alas, the new age of stoner has arrived.

Bad Omens slither through boundaries, only to ultimately choke convention in the process. The group’s 2016 self-titled debut, 'Bad Omens', yielded fan favorites such as “Glass Houses” and “The Worst In Me” which eclipsed 23 million Spotify streams. On its heels, 2019’s 'Finding God Before God Finds Me' spawned “Dethrone” (11.5 million Spotify streams) and “Careful What You Wish For” (10 million Spotify streams). Along the way, they toured with numerous marquee acts and received tastemaker praise.

After their first headline tour was canceled mid-way at the top of the global pandemic, the band found themselves at home in Los Angeles with plenty of time. Where they absorbed and imparted a different palette of unexpected inspirations. Channeling what the frontman describes at times as a “cursive sound” they embraced newfound confidence and boundlessly loose creativity. Anything went in the studio, and all “rules” were broken. Noah and Jolly wrote, produced, and engineered the music themselves while GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer and songwriter Zakk Cervini (Halsey, Grimes, Poppy, blink-182) lent his talents with the mix and master. Challenging himself, Noah decided to “make a track sampling items around the house, none of which were musical instruments”.

This ultimately became the framework for the first single “THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND”. Claps puncture the icy soundscape as his voice stretches from a breathy moan into an evocative and entrancing hook, breaking from a whisper into the seductive chant, “It wasn’t hard to realize. Love’s the death of peace of mind.” It culminates on a climactic scream uplifted by a distorted crunch.

“The whole record really details the loss of peace of mind,” he explains. “The lyrics in the title track are a little more specific in terms of the conflict at the heart of something more intimate and personal.”

By speaking it aloud, Bad Omens offer a level of comfort and empathy, with a sinister shroud. At the same time, they also give rock music a sexy new shape on 'THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND'.

“Sonically, we want to do something you can’t arrive late or early too,” he leaves off. “You can’t cheat your way to the final act. You have to get on the ride and process it until the end. The songs are meant to be heard from start to finish. We want you to take the whole trip with us.”

"We never thought it would be possible for us to compose a whole new album completely remote while we were all at home during the pandemic. It was different. It was intense. The process of producing the album had an even more amazing synergy between the band and our old well known friend and producer Adair Daufembach. I'm so excited with this album and I can't wait to finally release it," says vocalist Mizuho Lin.

Beginning with their last album "Obscura" (2020), Semblant began to truly flex their musical muscle and show that they are more than ready for the world stage. Having already received international praise from the metal community with the release of the album "Lunar Manifesto" (2014), with the massive singles 'What Lies Ahead', 'Dark of the Day', and 'Incinerate' combining for more than 30 million views on YouTube, "Obscura" showcased a band having taken massive steps forward in their sound and presentation. Tracks like 'Mere Shadow', 'Murder Of Crows', and 'Dethrone The Gods, Control The Masters' are just a few examples of how much the band had matured musically in both songwriting and performance.

The band was geared up and ready to take "Obscura" on the road to spread their metal message, but, like every other band in the world, the pandemic changed their plans for world domination drastically. Grounded in Brazil and unable to head to Europe or the United States to tour as they had planned, Semblant, in 2021, eventually began work on what would become "Vermillion Eclipse". With pent up energy from being unable to tour and the emotional toll of the pandemic (multiple band members lost a family member to COVID-19), the band's songwriting and performances here illustrate even more forward progress than what was achieved between their last two releases.

"We hope you guys love "Vermillion Eclipse" as much as we love it. I usually say this about each new album we deliver, but, now, I feel that this sentence has reached a point of real meaning. All our hearts and dedication are present in this music. All the experiences we lived through during the pandemic and all the moments where we kept ourselves locked in our studios focused on creating music are finally in song form and reaching out to your hearts and souls. This album is an emotional breaking point. Over the course of making this album, we lost family members, one of us is celebrating the news of our first child being on the way, and we helped each other to keep our minds healthy and strong as best we could during this insane time. This is all reflected in the new album," says vocalist Sergio Mazul.

Along with the stunning music, fans who pick up a physical copy of the album will receive a majestic visual delight with "Vermillion Eclipse". The cover artwork was created by the Greek artist Giannis Nakos from Remedy design (Evergrey, Amaranthe, The Agonist) and the interior booklet designs were conceived by Carlos Fides from Artside Digital Studio (Shaman, Edu Falaschi, Icon of Sin).

Semblant formed in 2006 in Curitiba, Brazil when singer Sergio Mazul and keyboardist J. Augusto joined forces to create music that featured all the dark and aggressive elements they appreciated and loved in metal music. Legacy of the Beast has created a new limited-time, in-game event called, Disturbing Sciences featuring a limited-time character, The Guy. The game’s Disturbing Sciences event is an ode to both bands' lore taking its broad themes from the cover of Iron Maiden’s 1986 album “Somewhere in Time'' and Disturbed: Dark Messiah, a five-part comic book series where The Guy makes his comic book debut. In this new storyline, Cyborg Eddie and The Guy have been summoned through time and space to the Polvo Valley, a small town transformed into a hyper-sanitized, machine-driven industrial city, where Eddie and The Guy are dead-set on punishing the city’s corporate overlord - Brian Kek and confronting the CEO at Kek Tower before discovering the depth of his hubris.

After years spent grinding in the ever-dimming lights of Hollywood, vocalist Johnny Skulls and guitarist Dax Dabs opened their eyes and realized what so many never do: ”why the f*ck are we trying to do it THEIR way?” At that moment, what once felt so distorted and lacking in its luster was now crystal clear. With nothing but the open road and their own volition staring back at them, the two joined forces after years of friendship and returned to where it all started.

In 2019, the duo found their way back home to Boston and began working relentlessly on a new project: Above Snakes. They would soon partner with producer Kile Odell (NITA STRAUSS, THROUGH FIRE, FOZZY) and in the summer of 2020, the band released their debut track “Adrenaline”, which quickly earned a spot on PANDORA'S "NEW ROCK NOW" alongside PAPA ROACH, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, & I-PREVAIL including Spotify placements from the likes of LOUDWIRE, FEARLESS RECORDS, & HOPELESS RECORDS.

“Adrenaline” was soon followed by their next single “Never Alone”, with a massive placement on SPOTIFY'S "ROCK HARD" playlist alongside BRING ME THE HORIZON, ARCHITECTS, & SEETHER.

In February of 2021 the third single “I Feel Bad” premiered with SLIPKNOT'S KNOTFEST.COM. In March of 2021 the guys returned to the studio with Producer Kile Odell for the start of a full length record due out later this year.

Austin electronic duo PANJOMA release 'Sun and Moon' single, previewing first release in 8 years

Austin-based electronic outfit Panjoma present the single 'Sun and Moon',released in time for Valentine's Day. Previewing their new 'Sun and Moon' EPmarks the band’s return to the music scene, back with what they feel is their best work ever.

Formed in 2006, core members Mary Panjoma (vocals, keyboard, production) and Patrik Nilsson (bass, drum machines, samplers, production) quickly hit it off upon meeting, resulting in a marriage and the birth of Panjoma. Despite their subsequent divorce, Pat and Mary remain committed to their shared musical quest.

The 'Sun and Moon' EP is Panjoma's first release in eight years, following 2014's 'Personacide' album and 2012's 'Panjoma' album in 2012. These were preceded by the singles 'Death Mantra' and 'Transmit Invocation', both with videos created by two-time Latin Grammy Award recipient Paul Beck, known for his work with David Byrne, The Calm Blue Sea, and feature films 'Waking Life' and 'A Scanner Darkly'.

An avant-garde darkwave electro femme-pop DMT-jazz band with a funky edge, Panjoma's sound is as eclectic as their influences, ranging from Bjork, Aphex Twin, Orbital and Squarepusher to Thundercat, Nine Inch Nails, Primus, Daft Punk, Le Chic, Mr. Fingers, Jazzanova and Depeche Mode.

"Our influences behind the 'Sun and Moon' EP are love, philosophy, and psychedelics. The 'Sun and Moon' single, which drives the dreamy vibe behind the whole EP, is all about how the Sun and Moon are forever following each other forever longing to be next to each other, but forever being unable to be together. The theme transitions into dreams, where anything is possible," says Mary Panjoma.

Panjoma combines electronic sound elements with conventional instruments, which they often use in unconventional ways, such as filtered pianos or e-bows on bass, producing their unique sound using a vast array of drum machines, samplers, keyboards, software programs, and synthesizers.

Panjoma have also had their fair share of adventures in the realms of film, art, soundtracks and sync licensing, having scored the soundtrack for the independent horror film 'Psympatico' and been featured in the soundtracks for multiple documentaries, including 'American Drug War' and 'How Weed Won The West'. Red Bull licensed Panjoma's music for the TV show '10 minutes to the Sky' and their music has also been licensed by Tokyo Milk Cosmetics and for the beta video game trailer for 'Otherland'.

Panjoma's studio and live performance members (past and present) include Ricardo Acevedo (Lost Cat Magnet, O’Clock), Ritchard Napierkowski (The Nimbus, Ritchual, Adoration Destroyed), John Ousely (Construction Paper Records, Cosmic Pets), Richard Evans (Rivers Want) and Chris Alvarez (Saul Williams, John Spencer Blues Explosion).

Their seventh full-length, entitled Devil’s Bell, will be released on April 22, 2022 via Napalm Records, and as the first single demonstrates, will be a massive rock’n’roll album full of infectious earworms!

Devil’s Bell offers nine fist-pumping songs that will shake concert venues worldwide. Frontman Toschie once again proves that he has one of the most charismatic and energetic voices in rock. The kinetic guitar-work of Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Thomas Tofthagen (ex-Sahg) underlines an outstanding genre-warp of 70s and 80s rock via NWOBHM, keeping the music rocking and the listener locked in.

As with every AUDREY HORNE album, there are no duds or misfires as the songs flow together seamlessly, making Devil’s Bell a delight to play from the first note straight to the end. The band is tight, the music is festive, and the songs stick upon first listen – that’s how a modern hard rock album should sound! "20 years into our career, we are proud to say we have made probably our strongest album so far. "It was made during a time of lockdown and isolation, so it became a very focused album, and an album on our own terms, even more than previously. It is 100% homegrown as we recorded it ourselves, Arve produced it and our long time ‘secret’ member Herbrand Larsen mixed it.”

Toschie mentions that, in general, the new album is heavier and darker than the band’s previous records:

"This goes for both the music and the lyrics. The song structures are a bit more complex and this also leads to longer songs in general. We have included an instrumental song on the album that really focuses on the chemistry of the band and the dynamic of us playing together. We wanted the album to have the organic feeling from the 70s and 80s records we all grew up listening to but with a more modern sound to it. We wanted a good balance between more produced songs and some songs with a more live feel to them without too many layers and overdubs. We are really happy with the way the whole album turned out and we feel that we kept the essence of the AUDREY HORNE but with a few new flavors added. George Strait Announces July 30 Return to Kansas City's GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

Arrowhead Events announced today that George Strait, the “King of Country Music” and three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, will visit GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for a one-night-only concert event on Saturday, July 30. Making his first return to the venue since 2001, Strait will be joined by special guests Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town, each gracing the stadium stage for the first time.

“For nearly two hours, he and his Ace in the Hole Band delivered nearly two and a half dozen songs, giving another big, rowdy crowd plenty to sing along to and plenty to cheer about,” noted the Kansas City Star during Strait’s 2014 Cowboy Rides Away arena tour stop in the city. “When you’re that good and you’ve played those songs so many times, it’s not hard to make what’s exceptional look easy.”

With an unmatched 60 singles hitting the top of the charts—more than any other artist in any genre—during the span of his 30+ year career, Strait has collected 33 Platinum or multi-Platinum-selling albums, more than any other Country artist and ranking third across all genres behind The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Wildstreet Releases TWO New Singles ‘One Tattoo’ and ‘Born to Be (RLK)’ Via Golden Robot Records

Wildstreet released two new singles, "One Tattoo" and "Born to Be (RLK)" today via Golden Robot Records. The two tracks were originally released in 2014 under the name RAVE LA KILLand were mixed by Kyle Kelso and mastered by Howie Weinberg.

After Wildstreet reportedly broke up in 2013, Eric Jayk and co-founder Jimmie Marlowe teamed up with New Jersey guitarist/vocalist Felix Skiver and started using the pseudonym ‘Rave La Kill.’The project released two singles in 2014, "Born To Be" & "One Tattoo". "Born To Be" was later re-recorded and released as part of Wildstreet III, released via Golden Robot Records in 2021. The album has 1.8 million streams on Spotify. They also released a cover of The 69 Eyes classic "Mrs.Sleazy." They have been added to editorial playlists by Apple Music and Spotify.

The band spent most of 2021 on tour in the USA which included Rockfest WI, but they remarkably also toured in Europe performing at Swiss Rock Cruise in Switzerland, France and Belgium.

Wildstreet will be playing at Whisky A-GoGo in Hollywood, CA on June 25, 2022. The show will mark the 1 year anniversary of the release of Wildstreet III. For tickets:

In 2022, Wildstreet has festival dates confirmed in the USA, Mexico, Colombia, the UK and Europe. They will also begin work on a full-length follow up album III.

Wildstreet began in 2006 and released their self-titled debut album on Retrospect Records in 2009. The band spent the next 4 years touring nonstop and performing at US festivals including: Rocklahoma (5 consecutive years), SXSW & M3 Rock Festival. Wildstreet rocked alongside Black Veil Brides, Vains of Jenna, The Bouncing Souls, The Last Vegas, Twisted Sister, Michael Monroe, Crashdiet, Diemonds, Kix, LA Guns and more. The band won the Best Buy/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Rockstar Energy’s Uproar Festival, and opened for Avenged Sevenfold, Sevendust and Three Days Grace in Camden, NJ.

In 2011, the band released Wildstreet II..Faster..Louder! to widespread critical acclaim. They made an appearance on “The Jimmy Fallon Show” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT2Wpp7NkK8) and their songs were licensed to TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBSand in a THQ video game. Later that year, the band released the official music video for “Poison Kiss,” which included a cameo by Don Jameson of “The Metal Show.” Wildstreet now had the attention of rock fans worldwide. In 2012, the band released the single “Easy Does It,” and it’s official music video. The video went viral on YouTube. Wildstreet has well-over 5 million viewsand nearly 8,000 subscribers on that platform.

After taking a 2 1/2 year break off and dodging rumors of a band breakup, Wildstreet exploded back onto the NYC scene in 2016, headlining Gramercy Theatre with new lineup. In early 2017, the band rocked NYC with Faster Pussycat and The Biters and headed to Rocklahoma for the 6th time.

In 2017 Wildstreet released "Raise Hell" the first single of their highly anticipated full length album, ‘III.’ Over the next four years, the band released 6 singles and 4 music videos. Signing with Golden Robot Records in 2020, Wildstreet III was released on June 25, 2021. While many bands opted out touring in 2021, Wildstreet brought live rock n roll to the people in USA.

Wildstreet III has reached 1.8 million streams on Spotify. Three of their singles have been mainstays to Spotify’s editorial playlist ‘Hard Rock’ & Apple Music ‘Breaking Hard Rock.’ On October 18th they released release a cover of The 69Eyes classic "Mrs. Sleazy" via Golden Robot Records. They just finished their second tour in Europe which included shows in France, Switzerland and Belgium, including Swiss Rock Cruise. BIZARREKULT Signs to Season of Mist

Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of Norwegian black metal project BIZARREKULT! The new offering will be released via Season of Mist Underground Activists early 2023.

BIZARREKULT mastermind Roman V. comments on the signing: "I am so excited, WOW! BIZARREKULT was formed in 2006 by Roman V., when living in Siberia, out of necessity and wish to create his own music to go along with the poetry that he had been writing since his childhood. From the beginning, BIZARREKULT was a quest of identity and philosophical search for answers for questions that bother the mind at night and day.

After some initial recordings and relocation to Norway, the project was set aside in order to deal with life challenges only to get a new spark a decade later. The most recent years were spent on self-reflection and search for a meaning and purpose, reuniting with the things that were important – art and creativity, leading to revitalization of BIZARREKULT.

This all resulted in the release of the band's debut album “Vi Overlevde” (which translates to "We Survived") in 2021. Intimate, open and very personal “Vi Overlevde” is a testament to survival through personal crisis filled with the reflections of childhood, family and societal relations. In the middle of another pandemic year, the title was giving hope, and it quickly became a favourite among many, giving the listener a complete package where music, lyrics and artworks align into one voice. The album ended op in various EOTY lists, including a well-deserved 3rd place from Swedish biggest newspaper Aftonbladet.  

The upcoming second album, and the debut for Season of Mist, will pick up where "Vi Overlevde" left off. But rather than a continuation, an internal evolution has taken place which proofs that BIZARREKULT is the living evidence that through extreme music we can talk about difficult things in an elegant way.

IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION Announce New Album 'The Sun Will Always Set"

Detroit-based 'Progressive Super Metal' quintet IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION will release their third studio album, titled 'The Sun Will Always Set', on April 15th, 2022. The follow-up to their 2016 sophomore effort 'Triumphia', the new record was produced by Nick Hagen and features guest appearances from Battlecross guitarist Tony Asta and touring cellist for Leprous Raphael Weinroth-Browne, to name a few.

In support of the upcoming full-length, the band has dropped the first single from 'The Sun Will Always Set' - fans can check out "Fledgling" via the ISD Bandcamp. Speaking about the new single, Pete Hopersberger (vocals/keys) comments:

'Fledgling' represents everything we are as a band, while simultaneously forging into some new territory. It's a great intro to the new album, in my opinion. Tony and I trading vocals between the verse and chorus really adds an interesting twist to our sound. And of course, keeping our Progressive Super Metal™ street cred fully armed and operational means that we found a way to incorporate drum breaks, keyboard and guitar solos, instrumental passages, and big harmonies. Originally formed in 2007 as “mellotrön_”, Imminent Sonic Destruction features the same lineup today that they started with: Pat DeLeon on Drums, Pete Hopersberger on Keyboards & Vocals, Bryan Paxton on Bass & Vocals, Tony Piccoli on Guitar & Vocals, and Scott Thompson on Guitar & Vocals. Imminent Sonic Destruction’s influences range from Genesis, Devin Townsend, Rush, and King’s X, to Pantera, Dream Theater, and Meshuggah.

In 2012 I.S.D. paired up with producer/guitarist ROY Z (Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Tribe of Gypsies) and recorded their first full-length album 'Recurring Themes'. The album led the band to their first national tour, pairing up with Sweden’s PAIN OF SALVATION

and Italy’s KINGCROW. In 2015 they were offered the opportunity to tour with progressive metal legends FATES WARNING, which they acted on, gaining lifelong hardcore fans along the way. In 2016 Imminent Sonic Destruction released their second album 'Triumphia', a concept record featuring songs like “The Fog”, and the 23-minute epic “Arborous Calm.” The album of course turned the prog metal world on its head, which led to a tour with Norway’s CIRCUS MAXIMUS, and a co-headlining run with NYC's EDENSONG.

A number of years and one pandemic later, I.S.D. are poised to release their third full-length album, 'The Sun Will Always Set'. The new album was produced by Nick Hagen, guitarist of Michigan-based progressive metal band ENTRANSIENT. With Nick at the helm, I.S.D. was able to fully actualize the album the new LP in the way they intended. TSWAS features the heavy riffs, non-standard arrangements, and vocals you’ve come to expect from I.S.D., but in fresh new contexts. The new record features guest appearances from guitarist Tony Asta of BATTLECROSS, cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne of LEPROUS, vocalist Lady Luna from LADY LUNA AND THE DEVIL, and vocalist Kevin Wroebel of DRAGGED BENEATH.
