GWAR Partners with Concept Cafes to Unleash Berserker Mode Coffee

Prepare your taste buds for battle—GWAR has teamed up with Concept Cafes and Coterie Coffee Co. to bring you a brew as brutal as their music and stage show: BERSERKER MODE COFFEE!

Roasted high on a pyre of smoldering destruction, Berserker Mode is a bold, bodacious java, savagely sticky with muddy molassesness and foul-fruited candy sweetness—a real teeth-grinder of a roast. This isn’t your average morning pick-me-up. This is coffee forged in legend, powered by Blothar the Berserker’s grievous wrath, and brewed for only the mightiest of warriors.

According to ancient lore, Blothar the Berserker—frontman of the greatest shock rock band in the history of the universe, GWAR—once roamed the icy seas in a Viking longship. Lost and alone, he was lured by a green, split-tailed mermaid, her siren song calling him to the Indonesian archipelago. But his love was unrequited, and in his sorrow, Blothar wept like a 1000-pound baby.

From his bitter tears, coffee plants sprouted across the land of Java. And thus, Berserker Mode Coffee was born—a heady and powerful drink, crafted to fuel his rage before battle. Historians may claim Viking berserkers were jacked up on psychedelics, but GWAR knows the truth: it was coffee that drove them to insane battle-lust!

Blothar the Berserker says:

"The best part of getting blackout drunk is Berserker Mode Coffee. Each sip is infused with the bitter sorrow of unrequited love and that nagging feeling that something really weird happened last night. Berserker Mode Coffee is a savage brew fit for shock rock royalty. I sure feel like the King on my throne after sucking down a pot."

Now, for the first time, GWAR’s Berserker Mode Coffee is available to the masses. Whether preparing for battle, a brutal mosh pit, or just another soul-crushing day at work, this high-octane, savage roast will awaken your inner berserker.

Mike Tonsetic of Concept Cafes shares:

"My first intro to GWAR was 1992, freshman year of high school, when my girlfriend’s older brother showed up to school one morning in a white tee covered in fresh steamy GWAR-gasm, obviously from a show the night before; he was obsessed and made us watch bootleg VHS concerts. LOL. I just remember (if memory serves) Oderus going straight up ‘Omen’ on JPII (the Pontiff) with a giant crucifix and I was like WTF…I’m hooked on the atomic crack and have been ever since!!! Think the raddest part in the opportunity to collab with GWAR is the fact that not only are they one of the OGs of shock, but they’ve taken it to a whole other level, time & time again, over a legendary career; something we absolutely respect and admire, and strive to incorporate into everything we do."

Berserker Mode Coffee is available now,

roasted by Coterie Coffee Co. and brought to you by Concept Cafes.

About GWAR:

The story of GWAR is carved across the history of this hopeless planet, but GWAR themselves are not of this world…Their story begins far past Uranus, in the deepest reaches of space, where the beings known as GWAR were warriors in the Scumdogs of the Universe, an elite fighting force in the army of the Master of All Reality. But GWAR proved too reckless and powerful, and after a series of tragic but hilarious blunders, they were banished to the furthest reaches of the galaxy, with orders to conquer an insignificant backwater prehistoric mudball known as the planet Earth. Once here, GWAR, the original Ancient Aliens, shaped the face of the globe, wiping out the dinosaurs, and mating with apes to create the human race. Having accidentally given rise to all human history, the Master of All Reality froze them in Antarctic ice where they could do no more harm. It was there they were discovered by a shady entrepreneur known as Sleazy P Martini, who sat the band down in front of professional wrestling, late-night horror movies, heavy metal music, and a steady diet of crack cocaine until GWAR became the cultural force they are today!

About CONCEPT CAFES:

Everybody remembers that first opening riff, that mid-song breakdown, that blast beat crescendo that turned them on, and tuned them into Metal forever. With our artist partners like Cannibal CorpseMax & Iggor Cavalera, and Ministry; we’re trying to recapture that moment of Metal possession for the fans by immersing them into a Metal coffee obsession like no other. As lifelong fans ourselves, we’re constantly seeking out the most epic Metal experiences; whether it’s records, live shows, merch, etc., so if we can maybe someday say we were a small part of that collective fan experience, then we’ve done our job. It’s also super important for us to illuminate the fact that these are the artists’ coffee stories, not our own, we’re just the chaotic-evil little elves that help them conjure their visions and forge them into reality for the fans.

We’re not here to snobbishly push conventional coffee culture upon Metalheads either, nor will we ever try to flip a quick gimmick on our Metal brothers & sisters to make a quick buck. We’re humbled literally everyday with this responsibility, and the opportunity to work with Metal legends. This is why we are constantly pushing the boundaries and possibilities, because foremost we believe there is no other comparison to the dedicated devotion metalheads have in keeping Metal music alive and stronger than ever! Metal deserves the absolute best when it comes to coffee!

Reality is coffee culture has become basic cookie-cutter over the past couple of decades; so safe and just a shell of itself which once fueled artists and their music across several generations. We want to revive that creative fire, and as far as playing it safe…it’s metal, motorcycles, & horror…what did you expect?!

Mavis Drop New Single "Sentinel Hill"

MAVIS unleash their most electrifying track to date with "Sentinel Hill," a high-energy, bouncy metalcore anthem packed with earth-shaking breakdowns, hauntingly catchy melodies, and a still-urgent message — maybe now more than ever.

Told through the eyes of a supernatural creature like their last single "DNA," the song explores the relentless clash between humankind and nature, as ancient titans are called upon to restore balance before it's too late.

With towering riffs, explosive drums, and soaring hooks, "Sentinel Hill" is a call to arms for a world on the brink. The song's almost Dungeons & Dragons-inspired lead melody in the chorus adds an epic, mystical quality, drawing the listener deeper into its apocalyptic tale — a refreshing and unique twist for metalcore.

Directed by Chris Hesse (Strangeworks), the video brings the song's themes to life, shifting between majestic nature and cold industrial landscapes — a stark visual reflection of the battle between life and destruction.

Produced by Manuel Renner at Überlärm Studios, "Sentinel Hill" pushes MAVIS' sound further than ever, merging razor-sharp aggression with anthemic, haunting beauty.

Kill The Lights Celebrate Anniversary of "Death Melodies" Anniversary With "Nothing Left" B-Side

Kill The Lights, which features former members of Bullet for My Valentine, Throw the Fight, Threat Signal, and Still Remains, dropped their incendiary sophomore album Death Melodies on March 8, 2024 via Fearless Records

Kill The Lights are celebrating the one-year anniversary release of Death Melodies by dropping the B-side "Nothing Left" and it's quite the ripper. The moshy, mid-tempo anthem features the band's ferociously familiar galloping, thrashy guitar solos and two-tier vocal attack, pitting corrosive screams with soaring melodic singing. This is how you celebrate a metallic milestone. While the band's intricate guitar work nods to the '80s, Kill the Lights always infuse their sound with a modern flair

"'Nothing Left' is a song that discusses the inner battle that those people dealing with anxiety and ADHD have with themselves on a daily basis," says singer James Clark. "'Nothing Left' talks about the daily tightrope that must be navigated to try and feel 'normal.' The song talks about the struggle, while also recognizes and accepts that it's something you have to live and deal with. Half the battle is managing the symptoms and taking each day at a time."

Certain bonds cross any and all borders and boundaries. Kill The Lights harbor this kind of connection between them. Even though you’ve got Michael "Moose" Thomas [drums] and Jason "Jay" James [bass] in Bridgend, Wales, James Clark [vocals] in Minneapolis, MN, Jordan Whelan [guitar] in Grand Rapids, MI, and Travis Montgomery [guitar] in Dallas, TX, the musicians lock into an impenetrable groove that eclipses physical distance. The band is especially adept at fusing classic, galloping guitar riffing with modern metal conventions, like alternately sung and screamed vocals and breakdowns that will incite pits to erupt.

Of course, the musicians boast an incredible pedigree. Moose co-founded multi-platinum international heavyweights Bullet For My Valentine, while Jay also played in the band. James fronted Throw The Fight, and Jordan and Travis handled guitar duties for Still Remains and Threat Signal, respectively. Upon forming Kill The Lights, they uncovered uncontainable chemistry, releasing their debut LP The Sinner in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Among many highlights, "The Faceless" posted up 2 million-plus Spotify streams and counting followed by "Through The Night" and "Shed My Skin," which each crossed the 1 million mark. Metal Hammer rated it 4-out-of-5 stars and proclaimed "Kill The Lights nail the groove and the glory." After piling up millions of streams and earning acclaim from the likes of KERRANG! and New Noise, a sense of unwavering unity drives their second full-length offering, Death Melodies.

Imminence Release Extended Edition of "The Black" Titled "The Return of the Black," Share New Song "God Fearing Man"— LISTEN

Following the remarkable global triumph of their latest album The Black, released on April 12, 2024, Imminence has firmly established themselves as one of the most rapidly rising and in-demand acts in modern alternative music. The band’s explosive success has been further cemented by their first-ever full U.S. headline tour, which saw the majority of dates sell out, a completely sold-out European headline tour in October, and their first Australian headline shows selling out in record time — marking an extraordinary 2024 for Imminence.

Kicking off 2025 with an almost entirely sold-out Scandinavian headline tour, the band now sets the stage for the release of The Return of The Black — an extended edition of their latest album. Leading the charge is the hard-hitting single and music video "God Fearing Man," setting the tone for Imminence's relentless momentum into the new year.

Watch the video below:

Despite the busiest year in their career, Imminence show no signs of slowing down. The new chapter of 2025 began with the unyielding release of their heaviest and most extreme composition to date, "Death Shall Have No Dominion"— a track that plunges listeners into deeper, darker territories before lifting them back up with the powerful new focus track "God Fearing Man." Fusing their signature orchestral string arrangements, led by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, with a crushing instrumental foundation, Imminence continues to refine their distinctive sound — one that fans have aptly dubbed "violincore."

Beyond these new singles, The Return of The Black expands on the album’s legacy with re-mastered versions featuring a stellar lineup of guest musicians, including Lucas Woodland (Holding Absence), Niklas Karlsson (Orbit Culture), Joel Holmqvist (Aviana), Scott Kennedy (Bleed From Within), and Tim Charles (Ne Obliviscaris). The extended edition also boasts two brand-new remixes by producer and longtime collaborator VAAAL, alongside an exclusive cover of "The Black" by Jiluka — set to open for Imminence during their highly anticipated North American tour this spring. Closing the album is the hauntingly beautiful instrumental track "La Douleur Qui Est Sans Fin," marking the final chapter of The Black.

Recently, Imminence celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album Iwith a special re-release featuring newly recorded vocals and a fresh mix and master. The Reclamation of I has been met with overwhelming acclaim, underscoring the band’s decade-long journey that has amassed over 1,000,000 followers across platforms, more than 400,000,000 streams, and a streak of sold-out shows worldwide. Now, Imminence is ready to take the next step—announcing their first-ever European arena headline shows. This groundbreaking production, "The Black Finale," will showcase the band in an entirely new light across five handpicked cities in December 2025.

With the imminent release of the extended edition, "The Return of The Black Tour: North America 2025" is set to kick off, followed by a packed summer festival season and additional live performances on new continents, soon to be revealed. The era of The Black is far from over, and Imminence is poised to make 2025 their most monumental year yet.

Dutch futuristic metallers CRYPTOSIS are proud to release their mighty, awe-inspiring sophomore album entitled 'Celestial Death', out now via Century Media Records.

To celebrate the album release and further demonstrate the powerful and versatile material available on 'Celestial Death', the focus track entitled “Ascending” is being made available today across digital platforms and can also be checked out in a new video produced by the film production company F/53 HERE.

CRYPTOSIS had the following comment about the track and album release:

"We’re thrilled to unveil 'Ascending', the fourth and final single from our new album ‘Celestial Death’! The full album is available as of TODAY! This track dives into a future where humanity uploads its consciousness to a vast digital cloud, blurring the lines between reality and virtual existence. 'Ascending' captures both the allure and the unsettling consequences of this technological leap. It reflects on the haunting permanence of a life disconnected from the physical world. Musically, it blends ethereal melodies with steady old school rhythms, building toward an epic climax at the end of the song. This song marks a powerful conclusion to the journey leading up to ‘Celestial Death’. An album that’s darker, heavier, and more atmospheric than anything we've done before!”

Tropic Gold Share "The Angels Are Gone" Video — WATCH // New EP Out Now

South East England trio TROPIC GOLD have released their new EP, SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYHING, via UNFD.

Get it here

They've also released the video for "THE ANGELS ARE GONE."

"'THE ANGELS ARE GONE' plays on as a lyric response to the question from the end of the introduction track opening the EP, that being 'How do you feel?,'" the band says. "The track's intention was to feel like a downward spiral when your head is just wrecked and in all the wrong places, with the chorus stating 'I need a reason to stay, 'cos the angels are gone.'"

Regarding the deeply personal EP, Tropic Gold siphoned every bit of emotion the members have experienced in recent times and parlayed it into these songs, saying, "SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING had everything poured into it over some really difficult times — the name sums up what was, and has been, going through our heads. It's our most honest and vulnerable body of work, and hope that people hear it and connect so they understand they aren't alone with day-to-day instability of mental health, life uncertainty, and self-loathing."

Tropic Gold offer up a thoroughly modern and moody meld of alternative, metal, pop, and electronica, cajoling their passions for a dynamic culture pool of music and production styles into a single sonic petri dish. Though originally formed in 2019, the quartet have spent years in the lab, developing their sound and strong aesthetics behind the closed doors of a bespoke, self-built multi-media studio.

The Tropic Gold method is truly hands on, with guitarist Joshua Lee handling all production and recording duties, as well as diving into the weeds on their visual curation, manning the camera and edit suite as often as the production chair.

SICK TO DEATH OF EVERYTHING follows Tropic Gold's 2023-released What A Wonderful Experience EP via UNFD.

Pairing swathes of moody atmospherics with soaring, ear worm choruses, the band’s songs feel like they would be equally A Vibe™ pulsing across sticky, cramped dance floors as soaring atop airy arenas. Coming on like a new romantic Bring Me The Horizon or a post breakup Don Broco, who just discovered their parents copy of The Cure'sDisintegration or a 45rpm copy ofSing The Sorrow playing at 33rpm… tl;dr: Tropic Gold are as gloomy as they are catchy.  Sharing a sonic space with the likes of the aforementioned BMTH and Broco, PVRIS, (latter day) Architects, Caskets, Spiritbox's plaintive moments and even Enter Shikari (albeit on Valium), Tropic Gold are just getting started in figuring out how to weaponize their cocktail of slap and swag.

Estonian Metalcore Quartet PRIDIAN Announce Debut Album 'Venetian Dark' Out May 16th via Century Media Records

It has been in the making: Estonia’s metalcore force PRIDIAN are unveiling details for their upcoming album 'Venetian Dark' alongside their newest single “DINY”. Their record, which will mark the band’s debut album, is set to be released May 16th, 2025, via Century Media Records and follows PRIDIAN’s 2023 debut EP 'Cybergnosis'. With the release of 'Venetian Dark', PRIDIAN show not just their own potential in the international metalcore scene but also why Estonia’s growing metal scene deserves more light in the future.

The band shares the backstory about “DINY”

"I drove fast. Faster than I should have really. The night pressed in on me, cold and endless, the road disappearing into the blackness ahead. The air outside was freezing, but it couldn’t match the cold that had settled inside me. My thoughts circled around her, over and over. Every streetlight I passed threw her silhouette onto the road, and for a moment, I thought I saw her standing there, waiting for me. My foot pressed harder on the gas, wondering what it would feel like to just keep going— to let everything go. The emptiness inside was worse than the road ahead, and I wasn’t sure if I was trying to outrun it or dive straight into it. She was gone, but not gone enough. And no matter how fast I went, I knew I’d never escape her."

Watch the Lyric Video for "DINY"

Vocalist Laur Lindmäe shares about the inspiration for 'Venetian Dark'

"Looking at it on a larger scale, I believe that humanity has lost its connection with nature, the planet, and even itself. We relentlessly exploit every last resource, driven by profit and greed. Our ideologies have grown superficial, and we are becoming less and less empathetic. Even if we end up destroying the Earth, we seem to have this cockroach-like ability to survive. We'll likely figure out how to launch ourselves into space, discover another planet to inhabit, and start the cycle all over again.”

Paradise Slaves (Ex-36 Crazyfists, Diecast) Share "Aesthetic of Serpents" Video

PARADISE SLAVES, the brand new band featuring former members of 36 CRAZYFISTS and DIECAST, recently confirmed the May 2 release of their debut album With Hell In His Eyes via Spinefarm. Pre-order it here.

The band has dropped the video for the single "Aesthetic of Serpents." Here, Paradise Slaves serve up a riff-driven, '00s metalcore-influenced rager dosed with modern melodics and a chorus that will take up permanent residence in your brain!

Watch the video below:

"'Aesthetic of Serpents' was one of the first songs we wrote for the album and it's a song with all the elements of music we love with the heaviness and melodies we all gravitate towards," states the band. "Lyrically, it takes on a journey of a life well lived, all the scars and beauty that have lead up to today..."

The Boston-by-way-of-Anchorage quartet cements an uncanny union between aforementioned vocal powerhouse Brock Lindow (36 Crazyfists), solo artist and guitarist Tyler Stroetzel, guitarist Jon Kita (Diecast), bassist Brad Horion(Diecast), and drummer Ryan Manning (Pentagram, Blitzkid).

Mutual admiration and respect sparked the initial flame for Paradise Slaves, yet their newly forged friendship lit up their chemistry as brightly as a pyre. That same energy surges through their full-length debut album.

As the story goes, Killswitch Engage guitarist Joel Stroetzel shot a text over to Lindow mid-pandemic. As it turned out, his younger brother Tyler was putting together a solo album, Dark Verses, Vol. 1, and wanted Lindow to sing on a track. Right away, the duo hit it off as collaborators and buddies.

Following the first song, they continued to write and record. Given his longstanding friendship with Brock, Kita naturally fit in and joined the fold followed by Horion and Manning. Jamming away, they nodded to formative inspirations such as Soundgarden and Alice In Chains twisted up with just the right amount of hardcore grit and heavy metal eloquence. In between, they performed alongside the likes of Killswitch Engage, Fit For An Autopsy, and more. Eventually, the group congregated at Tin Bridge Studios in Massachusetts in order to record.

"This band is something I didn't expect," admits Lindow. "After it fell in my lap, I was making new music with new people and we became brothers, and for that, I'm so grateful. When you get a gift like this, you need to put your best foot forward and have some fire. I definitely still have the same fire and love for making music as I always had and it manifests in Paradise Slaves."

Judicator Unveils Second Glimpse of their Forthcoming 7th Studio Album 'Concord'

American Power Metallers Judicator have unveiled a second glimpse of their forthcoming 7th studio album Concord, in the form of the single “A Miracle of Life.”

“This song is about the quiet trade-offs we make in the name of safety and comfort – until we wake up one day wondering where our freedom went,” says Judicator vocalist John Yelland. “It’s a call to reclaim a spirit of defiance, to protect the things that make life unpredictable, painful, beautiful, and ultimately worth living.”

“A Miracle of Life” follows in the path of “Concord” – the album’s first single and music video, which was hailed upon its February 7 release as “representing Judicator in top form” (Music Existence) and “absolutely killer” (Power Metal Ranger).

Concord will be released worldwide on March 28, just one week prior to the band’s debut performance in Europe, at Epic Fest. “I can’t think of a more special way to celebrate our new album,” says guitarist Chad Anderson. “Performing in Europe has been a personal goal of ours since we first became musicians. We think that Epic Fest embodies the future of metal festivals, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Produced by Carlos Alvarez and Yelland, Anderson, Lofgreen, and clocking in at over 50 minutes, the 8-track Concord is Judicator’s first full-length album since 2022’s The Majesty of Decay

This newly-released song is now available to stream and download, and the music video, directed by Kade Riding, can be viewed below:

Judicator is one of modern power metal’s most dynamic, up-and-coming bands. Since their formation in 2012, the band has become well known for their intricate character studies about historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte and Frederick the Great, as well as personal explorations of life and loss. Their new album Concord explores ideas and themes centered around the American West.

Concord is an epic exploration of American identity, blending historical events, folklore, and themes of cultural disconnection. With powerful storytelling that navigates both awe and tragedy of the American West, the album confronts the complexities of survival, power, and loss, offering a deeply resonant and thought-provoking journey through the nation’s fractured heritage.

Over seven albums now, Judicator have continually expanded their musical horizons. Their album The Last Emperor featured a guest appearance by Blind Guardian’s Hansi Kürsch, and in 2024, they had the surreal opportunity to open for Blind Guardian in Salt Lake City on their God Machine North American tour. From their humble beginnings to global recognition, Judicator continually demonstrates why they are indisputably one of power metal’s most innovative acts.

NERGAL commented, "'The Shadow Elite' is the second single and the opening track from our thirteenth album, The Shit ov God. A raw, high-energy anthem with a relentless drive — a banger built for the stage!"

He continues, "Lyrically, it's a call to arms — a fearless battle cry for outcasts, anarchists, and free minds to rise. We will not be silenced. It's about uniting and summoning the courage to embrace and amplify the fire of freedom that burns within us!"

Don't forget to catch Behemoth live on their "Unholy Trinity" headline tour with Satyricon and Rotting Christ. All dates and ticket info at the bottom.

Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, FELDER developed an early passion for music after watching Elvis Presley perform on The Ed Sullivan Show. By the age of 13, he had formed his first band, The Continentals, which included future rock legend Stephen Stills. FELDER refined his guitar skills through dedicated practice and even received slide guitar lessons from Duane Allman, laying the foundation for his signature style.

In 1974, FELDER joined the Eagles, helping shift their sound from country-rock to a more guitar-driven rock style. He co-wrote and performed the legendary guitar solo for “Hotel California,” one of the most celebrated songs in rock history. His contributions extended to other notable tracks, including “Victim Of Love” and “Those Shoes.”

His dual guitar harmonies with Joe Walsh became a defining element of the band's sound. In recognition of the Eagles' massive influence on rock music, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, with FELDER performing alongside his former bandmates at the induction ceremony.

Following his departure from the Eagles in 2001, FELDER pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as 'Road to Forever' (2012) and 'American Rock 'n' Roll' (2019). Over the years, FELDER has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Stevie Nicks, Barbra Streisand, and Michael Jackson, further solidifying his legacy as a versatile and influential guitarist in rock music.

Thornhill Drop New Track "TONGUES" As US Headline Tour Sells Out LA Show 2 Months In Advance

As the countdown to Thornhill’s highly anticipated new albumBODIES (out April 4 via UNFD) continues, the Australian heavyweights return with their latest single, TONGUES.” Following the explosive reception of previous single, Silver Swarm,” the band’s new offering is a turbulent dive into the conflict between desire and resistance, surrender and defiance. Listen HERE and watch the accompanying music video below.

Speaking on the new track, Thornhill share:

"‘TONGUES’ explores the tension of being pulled between opposing forces—desire and resistance, surrender and defiance. In many ways, it reflects our own relationship with heavy music, the push and pull between being consumed by it or resisting its grip. The song’s atmosphere feels like an ongoing battle, shifting between aggression and restraint. Lines like ‘turning your tongue in two’ and ‘fingernails down the walls’ heighten this conflict, evoking the struggle to commit or break free.”

With swirling melodies, gut-punching heaviness, and deeply evocative lyricism, "TONGUES" builds on Thornhill’s previous singles from ‘BODIES,’ further cementing it as their most ambitious LP yet. “Silver Swarm” explored the chaotic manipulation and push-pull of toxic relationships, while “nerv.” fused haunting electronics with nu-metal fury, earning the band widespread acclaim, a Spotify cover feature on The Core playlist, and adds to Kickass Metal and All New Metal playlists. Together, the singles have racked up 2.6 million Spotify streams and 420,000 YouTube views.

BODIES’ is Thornhill’s most immediate, raw, and unfiltered record yet—a sonic rollercoaster that abandons rigid concepts in favor of pure, instinctual expression. With anthemic highs, crushing lows, and everything in between, the album captures the band in their most authentic form. Pre-order it now HERE.

In celebration of the new album, for the first time ever, Thornhill will headline stages across North America in Spring 2025. The tour is already shaping up to be a massive success, with their Los Angeles show on April 11th at The Echo officially sold out and several other dates on low ticket warnings two months out. Featuring AVOID, Ocean Grove, and Banks Arcade, this spectacular line-up is an unmissable event for fans of modern heavy music. Get tickets before they sell out HERE. The band also recently announced that they will be playing Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 19th, 2025. For further info and to purchase tickets, head to louderthanlifefestival.com/

Commenting on their first ever US headline run, Thornhill shares:

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce our very first North American headline tour! It’s something we’ve dreamed about for years, and now it’s finally happening. We’re bringing along some incredible friends—AVOID, Ocean Grove, and Banks Arcade—and trust us, this lineup is going to deliver a high-energy show from start to finish. We’re so gassed to bring the songs of our new album ‘Bodies’ to the stage.”

ABOUT THORNHILL

Eternal purveyors of artful and engaging heavy creations, Thornhill possess a flair for nuanced rock beyond their influences. Via their ARIA Award-nominated 2022 album Heroine, Thornhill solidified a steadfast reputation as one of the most innovative and immersive heavy acts in the Australian scene, with Heroine debuting at #3 on the ARIA Albums charts, and at #1 on the Australian Albums charts.

Thornhill have amassed a heaving array of accolades over the years, including triple j's Feature Album and additions to countless Best Of The Year listings for their 2019 release The Dark Pool. And in 2023 and 2024, the band gifted some insatiable new material courtesy of standalone singles "Viper Room" and "Obsession", as well as a live album, Live On Tour!, boasting performances captured in the wild across the globe that released in June.

Thornhill kicked off 2024 supporting Silent Planet on extensive North American run, before joining Aussie heavies Polaris on tour in the UK and Europe, appearing at Impericon Festival alongside As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red and While She Sleeps, and touring North America supporting Northlane. Thornhill joined Fear Factory, Thy Art Is Murder, Hands Like Houses and many more performing at last year's Froth & Fury Fest in Adelaide, ending the year with a huge headlining a huge run across the UK and Europe.

Now, armed with their most ambitious and thrilling work to date, Thornhill continue their quest to reinvent heavy music with the release of 'BODIES'. Speaking on their upcoming release, the band share

“‘BODIES’ marks a bold evolution in our ever-developing sound. ‘Heroine’ was defined by its meticulously crafted and tightly woven concept, but the weight of this careful construction sometimes overshadowed the energy of the music itself, leaving some listeners feeling disconnected. With ‘BODIES,’ we’ve embraced a more immediate, unfiltered approach that feels like a lightning bolt, looking to capture the energy of ‘Thornhill right now.’

The album thrives on spontaneity and freedom, foregoing rigid concepts in favour of pure, in-your-face authenticity. It’s less about delivering a carefully constructed narrative and more about creating a visceral, open-ended experience. ‘BODIES’ serves as a sonic moodboard—a collection of feelings and vibes—intentionally left open to interpretation. It has an upbeat and almost celebratory, party energy at times, but also retains all the emotion and intensity Thornhill are known for, making it our heaviest and most explosive work to date.

With ‘BODIES,’ we invite listeners to connect on their own terms. It’s raw, personal, and unapologetically immediate—a record that thrives in the moment, capturing our band at our most authentic and free.”

THE VICE Release "A Great Unrest" EP and"From The Barricades" Music Video!

Swedish dark metal act THE VICE has unleashed its brand new 5 track EP A Great Unrest via Noble Demon. To celebrate the release in a fitting manner, the band has released a music video for the track "From The Barricades".

THE VICE about the song:
"Sometimes rock 'n' roll shouldn't be more complicated than one middle finger and zero f*cks to give. And that's what "From The Barricades" is all about. It's punk song cast in our blackened mold of ferocious rock and die-hard metal, accelerating all the way until the very end. Nothing more, nothing less, but one hell of a ride.."

Watch the video for "From The Barricades" below:

Listen to "A Great Unrest" HERE

Following the success of their latest full-length album, Dead Canary Run (2024, Noble Demon), THE VICE embarked on an exciting journey to create a series of EPs. The addition of Joel Öhman, a long-time collaborator, has transformed the band into a finely-tuned quartet, enriching their sound with fresh perspectives and innovative approaches.

The first offering from this new chapter, A Great Unrest, has this growth on full display, amplifying every inch of the foundation made of blackened metal, ambient pop and unbridled rock'n'roll.

The five tracks - three new ones, a cover of "1 Sun" by Miley Cyrus and a rearranged version of "Welcome The Storm" from the latest album - were recorded in the fall of 2024 at Studio Underjord (Skraeckoedlan, Magna Carta Cartel, Haystack among others) in rural Sweden.

Fresh off of writing and recording a full album, this EP was the perfect way to musically break the "limitations" that can come when working to create a really unified piece of art.

And while it wasn't exactly Fantomas-levels of diverse tracks, sound engineer and owner of the studio, Joona Hassinen really pulled his 'A' game giving it a coherent sound. A Great Unrest sounds a bit lighter, yet more harsh than Dead Canary Run with an electrified, distorted tension running throughout.

"A Great Unrest" is out now on Noble Demon and available for purchase at THIS LOCATION

Charlie - Bass

The Pretty Wild Release New Track "Button Eyes" and Official Video via Sumerian Records

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild have unleashed their new track "Button Eyes" and the official music video via their new label home, Sumerian Records. The sister duo previously released their smash hit "sLeepwALkeR"which has already surpassed 5.6 million Spotify streams, with the official video already amassing 381k views on YouTube. Most recently, The Pretty Wild joined forces with Kittie and Diamante on the 'Queen Of The Ring' official movie soundtrack for their haunting reimagination of Metallica's legendary classic, "The Unforgiven", available on all streaming platforms at the link here. Speaking about "Button Eyes", the band shares:

"This song is for anyone who’s ever felt objectified, used or controlled. It’s about the moment you consciously break free from manipulation and you sever ties with that toxicity for good. We used dolls as a vessel for this theme, mostly as a way to blend playful melodies and imagery in a way that lightens a heavy conversation topic." - jules

"'Button Eyes' explores the theme of disillusionment with life and the process of reclaiming personal power. The song cheekily pokes at the painful process of breaking free from the misleading beliefs that held us back and stepping into our truth. Essentially empowering ourselves by rejecting disempowering narratives that were imposed upon us. Personally, I love this one because it comes across fun, poppy, and superficial, but the irony in it, is that it’s the juxtaposition of all that at its core." -jyl

Stream "Button Eyes" here, watch the official music video below, and keep your eyes (and ears) peeled for more news from The Pretty Wild coming soon.

The Pretty Wild Upcoming Dates:

Thursday, May 15 - Daytona Beach, FL @ Welcome To Rockville

With already amassing over 16 million all-time streams and planned performances this year at major national festivals such as Welcome To Rockville and Inkcarceration 2025, the sky is the limit for the sister duo who are further solidifying themselves as a force to be reckoned with in modern heavy music.

UK Metal Legends RAGING SPEEDHORN's New Album 'Night Wolf' is Out NOW via Spinefarm

British metal pioneers, RAGING SPEEDHORN, have released their brand-new studio album 'Night Wolf' via Spinefarm

RAGING SPEEDHORN drummer Gordon Morison comments:

“We’ve been blown away by the responses to both ‘Night Wolf’ and ‘Every Night’s Alright For Fighting’, and seeing the excitement from the fans ahead of today has been amazing. Making 'Night Wolf' was a joy, and we’re excited to hit the road today with Hit The Lights! If you haven’t grabbed a ticket yes, don’t miss out. These dates are going to be pure fucking chaos!”

Watch the Video for "Every Night's Alright For Fighting"

'Night Wolf' is an album that perfectly captures the magic RAGING SPEEDHORN have been concocting over their 25-year plus career. Flitting between sludge, crushing doom and high-energy dirt-fuelled rock ‘n’ roll riffs, the sextet have matured like a fine wine and honed their craft to a new level.

Featuring ten tracks of ferocious, riff-centred metal that’s packed with strength, power, and, ultimately, song-driven groove, RAGING SPEEDHORN are once again ready to provide an antidote to mediocrity and pedestrian radio-rock.

Recorded with Russ Russell (Napalm Death, At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir) at Parlour Studios in Kettering, UK, the relationship between RAGING SPEEDHORN and Russell has been honed over many years – he has produced the Pledge Music-released 'Lost Ritual' and'Hard To Kill'.

The band’s drummer, Gordon Morrison, comments:

Russ really captures what we want to achieve and understands the band. We always work well together and, frankly, I wouldn’t want to record with anyone else at this stage.”

'Night Wolf' is the first album to feature new guitarist Daf Williams who joins founding members Frank Regan (vocals), Gordon Morison (drums) and mainstays Jim Palmer(guitar), Andy Gilmour (bass – who also plays with UK post-hardcore legends Hundred Reasons) and second vocalist Dan Cook. This reinvigorated line-up sees RAGING SPEEDHORN not only capture the spirit of the band’s DNA but push their own musical boundaries and swagger into new uncharted territories.

Order 'Night Wolf' HERE

Since the release of their eponymous debut in 2000, RAGING SPEEDHORN have enjoyed a career built on stunning, unhinged, raucous live shows and albums to boot. They’ve played countless worldwide shows and festivals, sharing stages with Slipknot, Clutch, Biohazard, Enter Shikari, Skindred, earthtone9 and many more.

Notably, RAGING SPEEDHORN opened up the infamous 2001 UK Ozzfest at Milton Keynes Bowl, playing in front of 50,000 metalheads; they received Kerrang! Award nominations; spent a night behind bars in Spain while on tour with Biohazard; and caused havoc during the 2002 Kerrang! Awards in London, resulting in Placebo’s Brian Molko joining in on the action and flipping over the band’s alcohol-laden table.

'Hard To Kill' was released during the global pandemic on the band’s own label Red Weed Records. Navigating the difficulties that ensued during that time, 'Hard To Kill' was RSH’s biggest release in years and made numerous UK chart appearances: #11 Rock & Indie Chart, #7 Indie Breakers Chart, #26 indie charts, and #95 physical charts – the first time the band had chart success since 2001 – all without the backing of a record label!

Having started in their original hometown of Corby, while its members are now spread across the Midlands and South Wales, the teenage spirit of rebellion and kicking against the pricks still lies in the heart of RAGING SPEEDHORN.

With 'Night Wolf' the band is as ferocious and ready to rumble as ever.

“I love being in this band, it's the only thing I've done for this long and I love playing music with these guys,” states Morison. “Why would I want to stop? It's in your blood, you can't stop. We were kids when we started, and it seems like I blinked and I'm still here doing this. We have a new album, a new deal, and if you think about it, there's not many bands from when we first started that are still going like we are.”

Morison continued:

“It's about chemistry and not giving a fuck and just believing in what you want to do. Honestly, it's been the best being in a band with these guys, it's just so easy. Every now and then there's a bit of a bicker, but there's never ever any arguments between us anymore, which I think is good. We all just get on really well, we love writing, we love hanging out, it just feels great. I wouldn't want to be in a band with anyone else, and that's half the battle there, isn't it?”

As the saying goes, you can’t keep a good thing down.

RAGING SPEEDHORN are:

Frank Regan – vocals

Daniel Cook – vocals

James Palmer – guitar

Daf Williams – guitar

Andy Gilmour – bass

Gordon Morison – drums

Wolves at the Gate Announce New Album "Wasteland" + Share "Parasite" Video

Wolves at the Gate are back with a brand new album. They will release Wasteland on May 30 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here

The band has shared the video for the first single "Parasite." Watch it below.

The song is masterful mix of synths, screams, and stompy breakdowns, so basically everything you want in a metalcore song!

"Throughout the whole album, we are exploring different concepts through the lens of a broader narrative and story," says vocalist/guitarist Steve Cobucci. "With 'Parasite,' we wanted to write a song that explores the relationship between a parasite and its host. It's such a powerful metaphor for the way that we all relate with our own weaknesses, tendencies, and sin."

He continues, "There's a sense in which we hate the way that we continue to go back down the same dark paths, but we only walk those paths because there is something we want and something that we are getting out of it. We can say that we hate it as much as we want, but there is something enticing about it. It is a song essentially about the insanity of sin. The very thing that we crave is the very thing that hates us and wants to kill us. Chasing after sin is a bottomless pit. Always promising but never satisfying."

He finishes, "The chorus line captures that idea saying, 'And I died a million deaths to live.' That's the picture that I see of my own sinfulness. I chose to dive into things that I knew would result in a million deaths thinking that it would give me life and regardless of how many times I saw how shallow and empty it was, I still chased after it. This song is a lament of a reality that I know all too well. And so I wanted to write a song that would shine a bright light on it for me to remember that sin is an empty promise that leaves you hollow in the end. The same way a parasite feeds on you until you have no life left to give."

Wolves At The Gate have quietly and naturally evolved since their emergence out of the Midwest in 2008. Their vision unfolded across albums such as Captors [2012], VxV [2014], Types & Shadows [2016], Eclipse [2019], and Eulogies [2022]. Blabbermouth rated the latter "9.0-out-of-10.0," while mxdwn summed it up as "powerfully moving." Along the way, the group tallied tens of millions of streams fueled by the likes of "Counterfeit," "Deadman," "Lowborn," "Peace That Starts The War," and more. Not to mention, they've performed alongside everyone from The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Red to Fit For A King, August Burns Red, and Born Of Osiris. In 2024, a core idea screamed out to guitarist Steve Cobucci, shaping the creative direction of the band's next evolution. It slowly, but surely seeped into the DNA of the music and his words.

"As I was working on the album and especially the lyrics, I began to realize that the Wasteland was a metaphor for a frame of mind that I don't want to live in, but a world I feel myself drawn back into over and over again," Cobucci reveals. "I hate it. It's a world of empty promises. It's a mirage. A counterfeit."

The musicians carefully pieced together what would become Wasteland. Cobucci co-produced the 13-track body of work with Josh Gilbert of Spiritbox, while the band recorded in New Jersey, San Diego, and Los Angeles. This time around, they added multiple dimensions to their signature sound, layering intriguing interludes and electronic overtures into the framework.

Craig Morgan Performs “American Soundtrack” on Fox & Friends

Country music hitmaker and Army Reserve soldier Craig Morganperformed the title track to his newly released EP, American Soundtrack, earlier today on Fox & Friends (Fox News). ICYMI, watch the live performance of “American Soundtrack” HERE

Craig Morgan’s American Soundtrack EP is available HERE

The new music is already receiving high praise, as American Soundtrack “represents the best of who Morgan is an artist and a person” (Country Swag) and how “every song on ‘American Soundtrack’ reflects his deep faith and patriotism, embodying the values that define him as both a singer and soldier” (Country Now).

The new music comes as Morgan joins his buddy, Blake Shelton, on his “Friends & Heroes” 2025 Tour with shows this weekend in Boston, MA at TD Garden (March 7) and Albany, NY at MVP Arena (March 8). Morgan’s “high-energy lifestyle, whether it’s snowmobiling through Alaska or working on his Nashville farm, keep him feeling decades younger than his age, which will come in handy…on tour with Blake Shelton” (Muscle & Fitness) while Lexington Herald Leader noted Morgan’s recent energetic performance has him “bounding onstage like a cannonball after Shelton’s first five songs [where he] dug into ‘Redneck Yacht Club’ with a jolt of vocal immediacy and vigor.”

Get concert tickets and more at craigmorgan.com and engage with Craig on Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.
